I got my dumbells today doo-dah doo-dah! My stepdad is a pe teacher at MY school, so he nicked a WHOLE BOX from the pe store cupboard. Feeling a bit **** today, have hit 45kg even though ymy dietician prmised me I wouldn't gain, so I went to my mum - "THAT'S IT I'M NOT SEEING HER ANYMORE" and my mum doesn't like it but I don't care. I start my weights tomorrow. This weight gain has really thrown me; I couldn't face going to my first dance class in aaaages today because I couldn't 'face' the leotard. Haaaaaaar I hate this dehabilitating crap., Just to put on a good face for my mum I've eaten loads of crap today just so she doesn't MAKE me go back to the clinic - I'm practising the art of performance for my parents - so tomorrow I'll be back to counting and preserving my sanity because behind my forced smile is 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGH THE FAT AND THE CALORIES YOU IDIIIIIIIIIIIIOT!!!' On a happy note, there will be no rain on Day 1 of my Duke of Edinburgh hike! Whooppppaaaaaaaa Hope you've all had a good day! aqua - boys are prats. All the ones at my school are, and all the good ones are taken (apart from 1, who I like, but has no clue, and is honestly about 4"5) |

olah, gibbit - yeah, mum's are great. I don't get on with with my dad, so I suppose it makes up for the overwhelming understanding-ness off my mum. agru - good luck in your job search! I don't think I ever got round to saying it! And I wouldn't pay too much attention to this site... I know it's dedicated to diets and stuff, but, to be honest, the whole industry is actually based on failure, so they try thear VERY hardest to undermine you so you pay more attention to them. I think you eat very nicely, and 'normally' (of that doesn't strike you as an offence. And, erm... how do you get over the feeling of inadequacy when someone tells you you look 'great'. As in, I alwys immediately go to 'they know I've gained weight, they think I look HEARTY'. hohum.....

Hello, Doubt you missed me, but I'm BACK, and I have missed posting. I was having a couple of days compulsively eating and eating and hating myselfd and hating myself and then when mum got back from a party I just started sobbing/screaming and she must of thought I was dying! When I explained, she wasn'y surprised, even though I was babbling on and on about how this wasn't meant to happen to me because I hate eating and it takes so much effort for me to even lift my fork. But she understood anyway. So, she's going to make me a fitness/muscle gain programme, seeing as she used to work in a gym, and she's taking food control back (which means my veganism has been temporarily switched to veganism), andshe's going to HELP ME lose my anorexic-gain-weight-quick fat and gain wiry-child muscle. And she even EXPECTS a first off weight loss prior to muscle gain! I LOVE MY MUM!!!!!! And I had my first ever KitKat yesterday. Sooooooooooo yummy. I'm not going back to the clinic anymore. They just control me via fear. And my consultant said to me - 'I'm not MAKING you come, I just strongly advise it'. And I don't give a **** for his advice. I'm not going to be 'fat' anymore!!! (And I didn't say overweight, but my bodyfat percentage is particularly high... It feels like it anyway). My own mother is going to help me fight the wobble. I'll just say it again - I LOVE MY MUM!!!! sorry that this si a very me me me post. There's about 5 pages of posts to read (you guys to it so much!), so I'll talk to you all when I familiarise myself with everyones recent plights! Good luck! |

slr101 - I love edamame. You get hem in the frozen section with the peas and whatnot, and I eat them straight out of th efreezer! I just feel guilty about gaining the weight so wuickly, and about not being the 'thin one', and being a bit skinny fat. In a way, I kind of WANT to do it all again and slowly so there;s more muscle involved....... pah, my brain works in weird ways..... Today so far (4pm) - green apple, orange, lots of edamame |

Raise your hands if you DON'T like oatmeal (porridge for us brits). Apologies to the many People-of-the-Porridge, but I really don't rate it..... ho hum. I gained 3lbs in about 6 days last week, and I'm VERY in my target range, so these past few days haven't been great..... as in an average of 1334 per day. . And I don't care. The will has gone, I've snapped, I'm fat. But well done everyone for keeping going. |

my ba,skgcouagfb dietician made me have zjbcoaiwvbf 2600 this week (sorry, I know many of you are over that) and I've gaained lagfiabwqvi 3 lbs and am now 3 lbs over my jbvosugbvosg target weight because her scales are just under 2 lbs 'lighter' then my digital ones at home cboauswvbfluagb;kcjbOILWVBPWA;HFBC;QAWGVOAQ;B VGPIUSBLVCJSG. Hopefully this means though that my doctor will discharge me by Christmas, woot, then I can be the 95lbs BY MY SCALES!!!!! sorry for the vent

this probably sounds really ana, but is 23cm large for upper arm circumference, and 65cm for waist??? I'm really paranoid, and I know I've gained alot of weight under my arms and around my triceps...... could that be potentially boob-migrating weight (excuse the crudeness!) relena - what classes do you do? are they like arithmatic or dance or..... sorry, i'm a bit lost! and mabe you could eat in the car... oh, kcals - 1000 today, but 4000 yesterday I'm really pissed off, the scales at the clinic are lighter then my ones at home, so according to them i still need o gain 2 lbs and i thought i was mainting *********** Makes my life so much bloody harder!!!!!!! |

I have to gain another kilo X_X my scales are 0.8 kg less then the ones at the clinic, and as my tw is set by the clinic scales... so I'm meant to be on about 24/2600 - and am only at 1800 so far breakfast - 1 cup rice crispies, 1/3 cup fat free soya milk s- tropical sugar free jubbly l- marmite roll, 2 figs, 14g box raisins s - 3 strawbs, vanilla alpro pot, 400kcals of figs d - 1 meatfree chicken fillet, bulghur wheat, steamed veg, 2000kcal tortilla wrap.

gibbit- I'm 157cm (5"1.5) and 43-44 kg (95lbs ish), though sometimes, at the end of the day, I'm 45.7 kg but that's just food! It gives me a BMI of 18, and my doctor says I can stay here for now... but if my period doesn't comeback soon I'll have to gain more. I've grown a cm in 3 weeks, which is a record for me, seeing as I haven't grown at all in about 1 and a half years! Had 1700 today so far. Seeing the nutrition tomorrow, so I thought I wouldn't cut kcals till i saw her.

Thanks guys - You lot are so... inspiring. Anyways, how do you keep the metabolism 'up there' once you've hit maintenance. Because, in a weird way, it feel strange not eating all of the time..... I had a 1/2 lb gain since yesterday morning, from about 1800 no excercise the day before. How do I get my metabolism up without gaining? AND DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO REPLACE FAT GAIN WITH MUSCLE WITHOUT GAINING/LOSING? So far today (12 pm) 1 weetabix, fatfree soya milk, sugar - 100 1/2 glass juice - 50 1 slice rye bread w/golden syrup - 150 psychoj - I know this may be just me, but you seem to do ALOT of excercise. alot. I'm sorry if I'm out of place but, maybe if you see how much excercise you need to do to maintain on 2500, then you could work out easier hgow much you have to add in??? Oh, and if you need something compact for lunchtimes, sometimes I get a flapjack from the health food stores that are between 400-500 kcals a piece. W00T! |

i am massive massive massive massive massive so bloated, up about 5or 6lbs from this morning, have fat bulging out of my pyjama straps and a major preggo tummy. I'm starting my excercise tomorrow. Don't care what my mother says. I need to do stuff before I go mad.
1800 today. And tortilla chips. I hate myself aqauev - WOW! I wanted to be a ballerina so much, but got this awful ed at the opportune time (not). I was 12 when I went into outpatients, and couldn't bring myself to get in a leotard whilst I was gaining. Now I've stopped, I definitely want to go back to class, despite it being too late for me to now 'make it' as a ballet dancer. I'm only grade 5 :( That's the only thing that really bugs me. But, so I don't embarass myself when I go back to class (at a new dance studios) what stretches do you do? I am so far from the splits it's incredible! |

Olah everyone. Je suis tres confused - for the past4 days my intake has been thus - Wednesday4000 (that's abnormally large, I gain on 2300 normally) Thursday 2300 Friday 2000 Saturday 2000 ANd this morning, my weight has gone from 43.2kg, which it was on Thursday morning (no food), to 42.5kg this morning (no food). WHAT THE HELL!!!!!! AND DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW I CAN CONVERT ALL MY FAT GAIN TO MUSCLE (well, not convert, but replace my fat by muscle) alysha - I was like that the other night as well - finally fell asleep at 3 am, then woke up a t 6.40am. I don't understand. And the worst thing is, I was thinking about food the whole time! ARGH agru - congrats for letting your time with your parents not completely crush your anti-ed spirits. I struggle so hard with my dad it's unbelievable. He never eats anything ntil about 3 in the afternoon and yet, when I woke up late when my friend was staying over, the first thing he said to me was: "what are you having for breakfast flo, and when will you have lunch because you won't want to eat in 2 hours when it's lunch time, blablabklablabla..." - and al in the presence of my friend. Jees. And then, going back, the day I evaded my 3rd spell in inpatients by gaining 2lbs in a week, he says, 'well that's not surprising all the food you kept stuffing in'. STUFFING????? I was eating 2600! That's not stuffing! Gah, anyways I hate him. This is a man who tells me I look like a tramp, then precedes in ironing his underwear X.X |

I'm now 44kg before bedtime..... we bought scales the other day, so i wouldn't have to go to the doctors so much to be weighed. Gee, olah everybody! meep meep. sorry, random coming through..... i'm feeling fuzzled today (anyone else get that - it's like hyper, without having had sugar or being annoying... just spaced out and finding everything hilarious) minusing calories burnt walking, my Net Kcals have been 1530 today.... hohum I just found microwave popcorn in our cupboard YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY psychoj - how do you make popcorn without adding loads of oil to it (my mum reckons it's the Only way)....? Bread is definitely giving me stomach problems. I think I'll avoid wheat for a while... my mum's not gonna like that - she doesn't agree with me being vegan as it is lol! ... when i woke up i was 43.1kg, after lunch i was 44.7!!! then at 5'30 i was 43.1 again....... goodness me, this really plays with my head... |

Greetings brave people I've decided I'm going to post regular here - you're really helpful people. I'm pretty much maintaining now, today I'm binging to get the weight-gain mindset out of the way so I can have a lovely clean healthy maintenance mindset as of tomorrow (weigh day). I'm not even going to post. I'm not even counting today. Is anyone gaining weight 'like a boy'? As in, not typical feminine places, not even apple/pear places, but their upper arms and lower back? I'm really concious of my arms now..... And how do I boost my metabolism? It was pretty recovery-sluggish all through gaining..... |

What does everyone do when you're staying over at someone's who is not a big eater, and rarely gets food for themselves (meaning they rely on their parents), just because food is not an issue for them. She's not 'skinny' or anything, just healthy, but I know I should be eating more, yet can't deal with eating when other people aren't (my close family excepted).I'd hate to think that she'd judge me and think i was a pig and that my ana is ll gone.... AAAAAAARGH I write AAAARGH too much. For example, all I've had to day (it being 3 pm): 3 glasses vimto, 42g raisins, 1 weetabix with smidge of soy milk (just enough to make it wet). I mean, we woke up at like 11am, but still..... and she's had an english muffin with butter and a glass of oj, leaving some of the muffin edge.... I'm going spare... |

I think I'm at my maintenence weight now, and I feel so bloody AWFUL. Erm, how do you go about toning etc and 'swapping' fat for muscle. Because I've been intensively gaining due to being a minor under a cruel eating disorders consultant who ran the in-paient place i was in, I feel the gain has been so fast an fatty that I'm having problems acepting it. Any help anyone. And I can't join a gym til I'm 16 :( |

how do you know which scales to trust? Last week, I weighed myself pn my friends scales and I was 41 kg, so I upped my intake to about 2300, however - now, my aunt's scales say I'm 44kg.... in a week! Now, is it possible that I have either a) gained water weight or b) 1 of them are dodgey scales? It's so confusing, and stressful, as 44kg is in the middle of my dr set target range.... I don't know what to do, and eating has suddenly got really hard....as in 600 kcals by 4 o'clock.... |

Ach, I feel like I'm eating all bloody day! And I'm going to limit my wheat intake from now on... I'm pretty sure it's what giving me a funny tummy... Breakfast - 1 cup rice crispies, 1/2 cup soy milk, 1/2 cup soya yoghurt, 1 banana, 14g raisins (460) Snack - 2 slices granary bread, marmite (200) Lunch - 100g peas, 2 linda mccartney veggie sausages, slice granary bread, 14g raisins (420) Snack - Low Fat Doves Farm Cereal Bar (150) Total So Far... 1230 PLanning for this evening: Dinner: 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup veg, 20g tvp and tomato sauce (350) Pudding: Frozen Banana, 80g mango, grapes (300) Total: About 1900.... hmmm. No excercise though, so I suppose it's ok...... Why am I kidding myself - thee 'Tools' say that to reach my gw by my next review, I need 2300 every day, not nearly every day. GAH THIS IS INFURIATING BECAUSE I FEEL SO FULL AND MASSIVE EVEN WHEN I WAKE UP CAN'T MY BODY REALISE THIS IS FOR MY OWN GOOD RATHER THEN CAUSE ME DAILY PAIN??? |

back from camping everyone the first few days my mum caught me not eating enough, so made me eat 3000 the rest of the time :( agru - a jubbly is a triangular shaped ice lolly that has just made a comeback. I got them for nostalgic reasons! And aldi sells a pate that is soya and pea... it's a bit weird, but ok on toast.... and dsp is the measurement (10g - halfway between tsp and tbsp).\ What do people do about face-weight gain? And I'm allowed to excercise again!!!!! But what can I do... I tend to go overboard - especially as I haven't been alowed to for, like, 2 years.....
I feel awfully massive again, and want to grow my hair back to hide. |
