YESSSS, I need this! I've fallen off the wagon myself, and I need to lose about 15-20 pounds by June 23 -- I'm going overseas to Lebanon to see all of my family and friends... I want to look good! Current weight: 162 I really really hope I lose this weight! I've been procrastinating for so long, I've led myself to believe that I'll be stuck this way forever :( I'm not going to wait until May 4th to start, I'm starting today because I have no more time to waste. Hope we can all motivate each other and I'm determined to stay on the right path!!! |

GO TO SUBWAY! I ate an egg with toast in the morning then nothing for 6 hours, extremely hungry... so I went to Subway and bought a footlong veggie delight on wheat bread with light mayo. It was all about 500 calories and I'm stuffed for the rest of the day. AND IT WAS DELICIOUS! GOOOOOOO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR!!!!!!!!!!! |

"Breathe Me" - Sia Saddest song I've ever heard! And I don't know why, but Modest Mouse's "Ocean Breathes Salty" makes me cry. I think it's because of the video too, it reminds me of when I was growing up so it means a lot to me. |

Start weight: 165 2nd week: 162 3rd week: 161.5 4th week: 161 Hey I'd say that's not that bad. At least I'm losing! I've been slacking on exercise a bunch :/ ahhhhhhhhhhhh I need to focus! I must be under 160 by next week!

BLEEH. I usually would never ever ever. But maybe if the guy was irresistable I could let it slide.... until it starts bothering me then I would tell him to stop! Really though it's disgusting. My mom smokes and when we go on Facebook together I can smell her afterbreath, it doesn't smell like cigarettes anymore, it turns sour. Just don't get yourself into this mess! |

THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL THING. You are so lucky to have that place next to your house! Bagels are so good but so high-calorie! If anybody knows any low-calorie bagels I could buy at Wal-Mart or Kroger's, uhhh they should contact me ;D |

I know what you mean. I used to eat under 1200 because I gained weight if I ate over that. But I started working out and eating about 1400-1500. If you work out you can eat more and not gain! I would just tell you to up your calories so your body gets used to it (you may gain some weight), but then it will be easier to lose weight after that. And if you hit a plateau you can lower your calories while still being healthy. But there are still days that I eat under 1200, sometimes by accident or sometimes because I'm not hungry. It's ok to switch it up sometimes. Good luck! |

I appreciate the advice from everyone. And I understand that he is still growing, but he is not changing his eating or exercise habits ever. Of that I am sure. I ask him to walk around the neighborhood with me, and he never wants to. He doesn't want to go to the gym with me and my older brother. He doesn't want to play football or any other sports. All he does is stay on the computer for probably 15 out of the 24 hours of the day playing Runescape. He hates any form of exercise, moving around, or anything that is away from the computer. When my parents make healthy food, he doesn't eat it. Sometimes my mom has to force it into his mouth. But she gets fed up with him and let's him eat whatever he wants. If he doesn't get the food he wants, he cries. I will not believe that we just have to cut him some slack, and soon he'll know better. He won't. He is not changing for the life of him. Obviously no one here would know that. I think the whole pizza he ate really scares me. 2000 calories, 72 grams of fat, 36 grams of saturated fat. Plus whatever else he ate that day. He sneaks food around so we won't know. One time I hid a whole large zip-lock bag of M&Ms, he found them and ate them all. I think he needs to see a nutritionist. |

Wonderful. I want to lose 25 by June, and if I lose 10 by the end of March, that would be fabulous. I'm 16, 5'5", and my current weight is 165. That's like a whole 4 months to lose 10 pounds! I'm hoping to lose 20 pounds by April, but I am really lazy and slow, so I'll be happy if I lose 10 by then :) but hey if the pounds come off then I'm not stopping them! Good luck to us all! |

omg fluffydragon, that looks amazing. I'm gonna try that! as far as low-calorie filling breakfasts, I like to make omelettes with 1 egg + 1-2 egg whites, and a bunch of sauteed vegetables... like red/purple onion, mushrooms, spinach, sometimes green peppers. and then I put tomatoes on top of the whole omelette when its done. and I eat it with a piece of toast! it's really really good. I have no idea how many calories are in it, but I'm sure it's not bad. oooooo and another thing I like to make is pancakes with banana slices. mix a cup of flour, an egg, baking powder, some vanilla, and milk in a bowl. make the pancake and all, and then slice bananas over the finished pancake. put a little sugar-free syrup inside, and then roll it up and put more syrup on the outside. omg, it's delicious! |

OMG, perfect group for me. I was about to start one just like it! Well I'm 16, I started my weight loss journey in June, and up until now I've lost about 17 pounds. I haven't even tried to lose more weight since like September. No diets, I don't even go to the gym much anymore. So I've been at 162-ish pounds for a while. And I really really really want to go down about 25 pounds by summer. Height: 5'5.5 I'm spending my summer in Lebanon. I have pretty much all of my aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends there, so I really have to slim down when I see them. I haven't been there in 3 years, next summer will make it 4. And there are so many hot guys there that I have to look good for :D I know I can do this. Maybe since I've been maintaining for a while, once I start counting calories again and exercising, the weight will come off quicker since it's a little new to my body again. This group will be great for all of us :) |

It's very possible. People on The Biggest Loser lose like 6 pounds a week because they work hard and are very serious. It's not unhealthy if you do it the right way. Make sure to exercise a lot (try taking up running, it's great for your body, even if you can't run a lot) and eat the right things, also drink a lot of water. I know how you feel about losing a lot of weight for a special occasion, I'm trying to do the same! Good luck! |

Yaaaaay, I love this group! I am SO relieved finals are over. I could never go to the gym while I had school. I'm using this month off to my advantage. I need to get back on track. I'm 16 but I started taking college classes this year so I'm considered a freshman. First off my name is Mell! Height: 5'5.5 I think I want to be down close to 10 pounds by the beginning of next semester. Major: Pre-med My calorie intake lately has been around 1500 because I have not been counting. But when I watch what I'm eating I like to keep my intake at 12-1300 ish. I hope this all goes well for us! |

I completely understand what you mean. I feel the exact same way. I've lost about 15 pounds so far, and sometimes I look fatter than what I looked like to begin with. I think it's because I worry about my body so much now and what it looks like, and before I never really knew what it looked like. Well I just hope that when I slim down even more, I won't worry so much! |

I've been begging my mom for nose surgery for 2 years, and I'm only 16. It sounds pathetic but I have the hugest bump on my nose (that I acclaimed from falling on the stairs when I was 5!) and I am so self-conscious of it. It takes up my whole face and I look huge! Maybe I exaggerate it more than need be, but still. - Nose job And let's just throw in some laser hair removal on my whole body! Gosh I would look hot if I did all of that. I'm so pathetic! haha but I would probably never do any of that in real life. But if it's free and easy... well hey! I'm still hoping for a nose job sometime in a few years though. I also want lasik surgery and hair removal on my arms and upper lip! That's not too bad huh? |

I go with the skinny Victoria's Secret models. I constantly google Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr. I have some picture on my latest journal entry too ;D Fat pictures of me don't really motivate me for some reason. I just love looking at what I want to be. I say hang up those VS model pictures! Who cares if your family thinks your a lezbo! Lol, as long as it motivates you :) You can just keep them in your computer cuz that's what I do. Good luck! |
