haley:

I'm just trying to move more. I was doing exercise every day but it seemed to slow things down so now I shoot for every other day at least. I'm trying to stay under calorie count's suggested calorie target (1840). Since January I've went from 334 to 306. It's slow but I guess I'll take it!

Thanks guys, that made me feel better today.

Thanks guys! I was feeling sort of bummed out because I had thought that if I started in January, that by the time we went on vacation in october, it would be DRASTIC. However, it didn't work out that way so that's been a bone of contention for me.

I think I'm just harder on myself. You know how you never can tell on yourself because it's *you*?

Hi everyone!

My name is Heather. I was always a "fat kid" and I turned into a fat teen and a fat adult. At my highest weight in 2004, I was 376. I lost 100 pounds after having situation where I was admitted to the hospital for a night so they could check my heart which turns out was enlarged big time.

In 2007, I had a miscarriage and was suffering from depression. I gained some weight back. On January 1st of this year, I started trying to lose weight again. I am determined to have a baby and losing weight should help that. I also am supposed to go on a beach vacation with my in-laws in October and I want them to NOTICE I've lost weight when I see them. I didn't weigh until the 15h of January, and  I was 334. It was depressing, but now I've gotten down to 309.

I'm worried that the weight loss is slow. Every time I start exercising regularly, the weight loss stops. It stopped for an entire month and when I stopped exercising, the weight loss slowly started again. I've decided today to start exercising again because I've got to speed up this process. This time, instead of working out every day, I'm going to start at every other day doing the 1 mile walk away the pounds DVD and work my way up. Does that sound like it will work> I don't want to stop the weight loss again.

*waves to everyone!*
