Hi

Skcr73...i can relate to you cause i am a young married woman and like you i worry that my husband may fall out of love for me due to me being so underweight. Its a feeling that you cant shake off so easily...trust me i know. When you in that mood of not being so self confident ...it shows in the way you speak to him, your atitude towards sex and in what you wear. I hate clothes...cause there is nothing that fits me good in my wardrobe.

But, what i've learnt is that.... my husband will not fallout of love for me because of my size cause he did not marry me for my size. Underneath that size i am the same person he married and he still loves me. I have fallen out of love for my self.

Knowing that i am loved despite boosts my self confidence. Being healthy is whats important to him and trust me he ensures that i eat all the heathy stuff and have breakfast one etc etc. And i love him for that.

So my advise to you is..dont worry about how you look but how you feel inside as a result of how you look. You owe it to urself and to your husband to feel self confident, healthy and sexy.

Thank you southernchick for your reply. I am a 23yr old and have only been married for 6months. It is said that some people are made to be small like we are for life...i truly hope that we don't for i would love to look sexy in a pair of jeans one day. We would want to be sexually attractive to our husbands all the time.  Do you have any kids cause am hoping that being underweight would not interfer with my fertility. Being underweight is one thing but being married and underweight is another.

I can relate to quite a few persons here. I have a low BMI and is thus classed as being underweight. Sometimes i don't feellike going anywhere cause i know that i have to dress in something that will show how shapeless i am, so most times i wear huge clothes to cover it up.

My husband reassures me that he loves me just thte way i am......but ladies we all know that off and on even that doesn't work to boost your esteem about your weight. Why is it so difficult to put on weight?

But God has fashioned us all in the way that he wants us. We should all seek happiness in Him and not in the way we look or the way others see us. If we do that...we will head to just being depressed...which is NOT a good feeling.

To all skinny girls like myself.....the trick to gaining weight is to finding happiness within thyself. Whatever God has blessed you with....flaunt it.
