I am totally in. 2008 was my starting year to realize my life needed to change. Now after the holidays are over. I am ready to start fresh again.

My name is Mirian, I am 5'7 CW 188. GW 150 (planned to be there by atleast mid year) I really want to loose 38 lbs by 4th of July & be able to wear a bathing suit without a shirt covering my body. So that is my main focus. Lots of cardio & after lossing 25 lbs I want to start toning my body. Part that I need to work on is have a nice round firm butt, work on my back, & tone my stomach. Eat healthier ofcourse, stop fast foods & eat more fruits & vegatables.

When I started CC on June '08, my HW 221. I was able to come down to 188. Fell of the wagon in Nov - Dec. But I am back for a new year & new me. I weight in on Fridays, Hope you dont mind that I will post on Fridays.

1st Goal: Reach 170 By 04/04 (My B-day)

      Be able to run 10 mins. straight non stop at a good pace & work out atleast 4 times a week.

2nd Goal: Reach 150 By 07/04 (4th of July) Summer/Beach

       Eat more fruits & vegetables. No fast foods minimum of just once per month.

3rd Goal:  Sept '09 Be able to be happy with my weight, my body & be at the maintain stage. A healthier & sexier ME!

    Congrats Olivia. I started this week good going back to my routine classes. I went Tuesday to the gym & I felt like it was my 1st time. My body hurts all over. I guess I had a good workout. I must confess all last week I was bad the word BAD! but how can you really be in a diet w/a Hurricane coming around to your town?? I know I should have been better. but no pwr no AC is pretty hard to exercise sooo hot. :) excuse :) well I am definitely going to weight myself tomorrow. Have a good day Chicas!

    Hey Girls! I am back. Thank God my area where I live didnt have much damage. I was out of pwr since Friday night, but got it back on yesterday. It has been crazy here. To get gas you have to wait in line for hours, its bad at the grocery stores too. I came back to work today 1/2 the building has pwr, lucky my office has pwr to be able to work. Well I will catch up w/you guys Friday. I am very busy. thanks bye

    Hey Girls!!! I had a real busy weekend. I worked as a waitress at the pool at the resort where I work. They slaved me; worked 8-9 hours straight non stop w/no lunch break. soo I am pretty sure I lost a couple of lbs just on the 3-days I was out there walking back & forth in the hot.

    I am ready for this Sept. challenge. My goal is to lose 8 lbs by Sept 30. Hope everyone have a nice day & an awesome week!!!!!!!!!!

    My only challenge for the week was beat my cal burn from last week, which I did. HORRAY FOR ME!!

    Water Challenge I drink (6) 16 oz cups of water during the day. = 96 ; While I am at the gym I drink (2) 12 oz bottle of water. So total of oz H2O = 120 oz per day. YEPPIE FOR ME!!!!!

    I dont think I was soo hard on myself this month. I lost 5.2 lbs. I am ready for Sept challenge. My goal is to lose 8 lbs in Sept.

    Lets keep the good work ladies!!!!!!!!!!

    Crunches were like 200 (i will do my best for the 700 challenge)

    I already drink a little more than 100 oz per day of H2O. but I will definitely keep count to know exactly how many oz of water I drink every day. Fruit/Veggies I am definitely on for that one to.

    Hello! I am 5'7 Weight 193 size 14 pants. My goal weight is around 150 (which that will bring me down to size 7/8). Dont want to be too skinny. But have back my cute perfect curves & my small waist back again.

    27 yrs old, 5'7. I enjoy working out heading to the gym everyday afterwork has been a great way to stay motivated & stress free. Has not been easy being a single mom of two. But If I can do it, anyone can. In 10 weeks I have lost 28 weeks, most of that was by joining CC (counting cal) & lots of cardio. I weight myself on Fridays soo I will be putting my #'s on Fridays. Good luck & lets stay together to stay motivated.

    I think the best thing to do. is not have a scale at home. (take it to your friends/family house & tell them to hide it & only let you go weight yourself once a week) I think if i had a scale at home, I would really be crazy about it. I only weight myself on Fridays & thats it. I use the scale at work, & I have to go down to purchasing dept.

    I am 5'7, size 14. 193 lbs. Junior size pants I am a size 17. My goal weight is about 150 lbs & hopefully that will bring me down to size 7/8.

    Hello! I know its hard. but if I been doing it. You definetely can. My thing is I refuse to go home after work. If I hit the house I will never come out. soo best suggestion is go to the gym right after work. I do it just about every day during the week. After picking up my kids after work, I hit the gym. I take my workout clothes with me. Its really hard to stay motivated specially if you dont have a gym buddy. But the best motivation is going to the classes like kickboxing, aerobics, etc... if your gym has those classes I suggest for you to go to them. Thats an hour of workout already. On days that there is no class, i hit the elliptical w/my ipod. Will - power........ You are here already soo that is a big step already.

    I been getting compliments all the time. Everyone at work, my family, my b/f, my best friends. They all had seen me at my highest 254 lbs for a couple of years. After I had my baby I went down to 225. & then it was when I started working out & being aware of my cal intake. Now I am at 193. From a size 18 to a 14. Since joining CC I have lost 32 in 10 weeks. I feel better than ever.

    Hey Girls!

    As of you guys know. I am a slacker on the weekends. well I am back this week to rock again :). Congrats everyone, We are doing sooo good. I am more than ready to join the Sept challenge. I already started a good sweaty week. Yesterday I helped my cousin packed & load to her new place for 5 hours sooo I cant wait to check out how many cal I burned. ohh & I hit the gym on Saturday for an hour. but totally messed up on that one w/all the margaritas I had that night. ohh well. I am just feeling great this week. Have a good week guys!!!!!!!!!

    Discovery i have found. not really me, well yes i can say me too I am noticing. But everyone at work has made comments to me how slim I am looking. And they keep asking me what I am doing. The comments my co-workers say to me are pretty good. Makes me feel great & just want to keep going & going.

    Thanks Paul. I will hit the mall this weekend & take both of my kids. I have planned to hit the gym also tomorrow (go to my aerobics class i been missing) & the rest of next week. With a Sunday rest (no babysitting at the gym on Sundays).

    Paul what is the best cardio or exercise to do at the gym that burns more calories? I started to add weight lifting to my routine when I hit the gym. I usually would only do cardio (treadmill/elliptical). Up for any suggestions...

    Hello Everyone! this weekend I was really lazy. I been sick & my kid too. but today is Monday i will be hitting the gym again. new week fresh start. Good Luck Everyone.

    Idea: Now that today is new week. Track down how much calories per day you burn at work. We can post the total per day on how we did at the end of the day Friday. What you guys think? Down for the challenge?

    Ok... it looks like everyone is doing very well. I am glad for you guys. I been bad. no exercise at all. This weekend I was really lazy. The longest walk I had was probably to my car. Well its Monday fresh new start right. Well I am going to start to hit the gym again this week. Good Luck everyone.... ohh also I will take paul_y other challenge. I think I go up/down the stairs like 10 times a day at work already. but i will keep track to know exactly. :)

    I just weighted myself today I am at 196.6. I lost exactly 2 lbs since last Friday. I only made it to the gym 2 times this week. I got real sick on Wed-Thur. Sore throat, headache, body ache. But I am going to start again tomorrow. I am going to give my body one more day a rest. My measurement are as accurate I could get. Good Luck everyone.

    Workout Routine: when I dont have an hour kickboxing or aerobics. I do an hour treadmill or elliptical. On Monday I jogg/walk. 10min jogg/5min walk I did that for the whole hour. I was so proud of myself. On days that I have my class after I do 30 min treadmill or elliptical.
