Hi people,

I'm down to 309 today so that is down 9 for the month and a total loss of 41.

I hope Gustav isn't giving y'all too bad a time down there on the Gulf Coast.

Thanks for your prompt replies. That article was interesting too.

The only exercise I get has been a forty minute walk which I have just increased to one hour. I am also trying to incorporate 45 mins of Yoga each day.

I should mention that I also take Xenical (Orlistat) which would have the effect of reducing calories further.l

I am glad you mention walking as effective. Is that enough for cardio and strength?

After 40 years as a couch potato I am a little phobic of gyms : )

I have had problems with aspartame in the past. It caused dizzy spells for me and when I stopped the aspartame the dizzy spells stopped. When I restarted the aspartame the dizzy spells restarted.

I now avoid it.

When I look at the number of calories in a teaspoon of sugar the aspartame/Splenda seem unneccessary for me.

Hi Folks,

Jul 1st was 342

Aug 1st is  318 Smile

That's a monthly loss of 24 lbs. My SW was 350 so I have a total loss of 32 lbs.

I hope it keeps up (said the actress to the Bishop). LOL

I dream about running - literally. Just being able to run and run without getting tired. Then I wake up with cramp in my leg! Honest.

I'm intending to just keep it steady. A 40 min walk daily

Hopefully my butt won't need too much kicking; you'd need a pretty long leg to hit it from California.
