I am on YAZ also, have been for almost a year now, the good thing about YAZ is that it includes a diuretic which helps with water weight so you shouldn't gain weight on it and I have lost over 13 lbs now in the last couple months so it hasnt been inhibiting my weightloss from what I can tell. It did take me a few months to adjust to it but for me personally it has helped my moods. My last perscription I was extemly moody and would get horrible headaches from and yaz has helped me quite a bit. Everyone is different but that's just how it has worked for me |

You know the only reason there are so many 0s 1s and 2s when you go shopping is because hardly no one fits into them! That's why they are always on the clearance racks. So the only thing that people will think badly about you for is that you took the last of their size! |

I agree, we did a pasta buffet for my wedding and everyone was happy with it, we did marinara meat sauce, plain marinara, and alfredo with the option of speggetti or pasta spirals breadsticks and a basic green salad. For appetizers/deserts we had out baked zucchini, pumpkin and banana breads and chocolate covered strawberries. The breads were nice because we made them weeks in advance and just froze them Everyone complemented on it. |

My husband and I split a 12" sandwich for lunch a lot, He eats the 6" and I cut mine in half and have it for lunch two days - so that is 3 meals for $5.30 (with tax here) $1.76 / meal Heck Yeah! I'm not going to knock that at all |

I used to work for a casino in the dining room, and it was amazing how much some of the people that came in would smell large or small, We had a buffet so we did not allow doggie bags and I watched a man take two pieces of prime rib - wrap them into a cloth napkin and stuff it in his pocket. Large or small you do something like that and stay to play poker - 17 hours later you are going to SMELL |

Original Post by moonikins: Yeah... Well my mom was born in 1947 and raised me as closely as she could to the way she was raised, including staying at home with me and teaching me to respect people including my husband... I may not have grown up then but I am a product of it, |

Is it bad that I, for one, wish things were the same as they were back in the 50s even with the discrimination against women, I personally would love to be able to stay at home with the kids, not have to worry nearly as much about them going out and playing outside without being supervised because they may get kidnapped, not having to worry about credit card debt, when the kids for the most part actually respected adults and authority, most people respected our men in uniform both military and police/fire. It was practically unheard of to have random shootings in schools and places of business. When you could easily operate your own private business without worrying about corporate America burying you. Before you had to worry about sexual predators coming into your home on your computer and talking to your children. Granted I know a lot was also wrong with that time but heck I would wear a dress, high heels, and pearls everyday for that sense of security, false or not |

I have always had a soft spot for jalapeno poppers but they can range anywhere from 250-350 calories a serving depending on where you get them. Instead I take a mission brand tostada (80 cal) spread a laughing cow light french onion wedge on it (35 cal) and top with sliced jalepeno's (5 cal) so all together it is 120 cal instead. Not exactly the same but still a crunchy creamy jalapeno treat good hot or cold! |

| Health & Support | Why is this happening? | Jul 13 2008 10:03 (UTC) |

Just run into the doctor and they can do a urine test and tell you within 15 minutes if it is a UTI - I get them when I get done with antibiotics but there are so many causes out there for them. Make sure to let your doctor know if you are allergic to sulfur - thats what they usually perscribe and it often does turn your pee bright orange - kinda wierd / funny it looks like orange soda. Keep drinking lots of water and definatly have it checked |

As to needing a bread maker, you really don't need one. I can make a loaf of bread from scratch by hand in the same amount of time it takes to add the ingrediants to one of those machines, turn it on, have it do its thing. My grandmother has one because she can no longer kneed her own dough. But, Breadmakers don't really make it any easier. To me one of those contraptions is just a counter space occupier. I have made bread by hand, and let me tell you the breadmaker I got is a HUGE timesaver, all I do is throw in the ingredients and I dont have to worry about how long it has been rising and when I need to punch it down and let it rise and put it in the oven. I LOVE it and then I know everything that is in my bread. I work night shift, I can get home in the morning throw ingredients in the bread maker, set what time I want it to start mixing and have warm fresh bread when I wake up, it's amazing |

Don't forget that this is a FREE website and everyone is entitled to use it that has signed up for it. If you want everyone to be unhealthily over weight that uses the site you use, you will probably have to pay for it. You obviously don't like being judged so why judge others? I joined this site at over 150 I'm not extremly overweight but I was eating extremly unhealthy and gained 45 pounds in 5 years, I do not by any means want to be back to 105 like I was in high school but I also do not want to be on the road to diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure that plagues my family, I would rather be underweight and completly healthy than at my "healthy weight" and eating completly unhealthy. Is that so horribly wrong? |

I have an i-pod video that I use for everything, have an armband for it that makes it very easy to work out with, also There is a podcast called "Podrunner" It has it set up by beats per minute so you have an hour long program that is different songs at exactly the same tempo I use it all the time, they have a bunch of different options and it is free (granted the i-pod is far from free) |

I will have a charcoal grill, propane "coleman" stove, and the fire pit with me - the foil packs are a great idea! I've done those in the oven before I'm sure they are even better in the fire - I'm just thinking of all the possible combinations - like mushrooms chicken onions and green pepper MMmmm I can't wait THANKS SO MUCH to all of you |
