When I reach the 30 pound reduction I will be 170!  For Halloween I don't know what I will dress up as... I will get back with everyone about that!  Any suggestions?

Also, question... why are there people talking about 40 pounds?  isn't the real goal for all of us 30 pounds?

COUNT ME IN!!!!!

I am 5'3 at 200 pounds (last weighed July 8/yesterday).  That means I should be 170 by Halloween! This is a cool thing! I believe we can all do it.  This means losing atleast 1.9 (almost 2) pounds each week.  Good luck all! Lets keep trying to encouage one another!

However I will weigh on Tuesdays because that is what I have set up and I am going to keep that so I will be posting a different time when I weigh hope this is satisfactory!

Anybody have tips on what they will be doing to reach their goals? Please pass it my way!

Luvhim: Warren, I do not know Barb... but I promise to send up a prayer on her behalf.  I know that prayer works and I will say one for her.

Sarahrip... congrats on your lose of 4 pounds I only hope to get on her Tuesday (weigh day) and say something similiar.

You all are so great.  I feel so welcome here and free to express my thoughts and feelings.  I just want you all to know that I am here if you ever want to talk.  Just hang in there, you all.  I know that it is rough, but we have to keep trucking.

Hello to all new people! I can't wait to get to know you all better...

I have a question... if I get below 200 pounds (I am not there yet, but trying) where do I go?  I really love talking to you all and I don't want to leave.  Just wondering.  If I must go I will.... Cry

I would be such a big plus if I was able to tract all my water and see if I had enough for that day...met a goal.  It would be nice if it was separate from the other food log. Great thinking!

you suggest red tea... well m question is... should you drink it along side both white and green tea?  Or is this too much?

I know that both green and white tea are good for you.  As far as which one is better... well all I can say is that they both come from the same source.  Yet, white tea is the most pure.  My step mother who is a health nut swears by tea and continuously tells me to drink white tea.  Ofcourse, she is speaking of plain white tea.  She told me to get one that I like the taste of so that I do not have to add sweetener.  Naturally, any tea that you don't add sugar, sweetner to is better than one with.  Also, I am not sure about the cold lipton green tea in the bottles... does it have any artificial sweetner, calories, etc?  I just brew the tea myself and sip on it hot at night time.  To me it is great that way.

I am new to this site and I have recently started drinking green tea (I am a devoted tea drinker in general)  I was wonering... how much do you all think is enough/ too much, etc.  I want to be balanced.  I know that it can dehydrate you if you are not careful.  So, what do you'll think?

Great job Sarah for sticking to your guns with your food today.  I got tempted today... of all things (Lucky Charms)  My little boy was eating them and before I new it I had already eaten 1/4 cup.  I know it won't kill me but that was not like me atall to want something like that.  I ended up stopping and got out the old trusty water bottle.  I think a lot of the time I am dehydrated and I confuse it with hunger pains.  Anyway... does anyone have any insight on tea?  I hear that white tea is the best for you... but I have heard that green tea helps you lose weight?  Does anyone know this to be a fact or is it just hear say?

Thanks Vanessa your a big help.  I will try to do some of these things you have suggested.  As far as Pilates... I have tried this in the past and I am just wondering am I not to big to be flexable enough to do this?  I would hate to buy something only to be disheartened about not being able to do it successfully.

Hey Jodi! Thanks for the welcome!

Kekri84, I just wanted to say hang with it.  I know that I fell off of it many moons ago and it seems harder than ever to get back on.  I am facing something like you.  Two weeks ago I worked out every single day, sometimes twice.  But, last week I did not work out at all.  I still lost because I am eating right, but still... My advice would be maybe try a different exercise.  Perhaps change it up a bit.  Instead of just using the eliptical do someting else.  Perhaps you can get out with a friend or two and walk around a track at a pretty park.  Not only will it be a change of senery it will also probably make you sweat more if you are out in the summer's heat.  These are just suggestions.  Also, do something you enjoy! Meditate and release stored stress.  I do almost every morning.  Working out does not have to be dull, boring and the same ole same ole.  It is what you make it, so make it work for you.  You matter and your time matters so just know that your thirty minutes or whatever time you take to workout needs to work for you.  It needs to be fun and you need to be excited and enthusiastic about it.

Thanks for the insight and advice, tulips.  Wow, 8 children! You are a very blessed woman.  That is awesome.  I am so glad you spoke up, because some times I feel like I am the only one out there that feels this way when actually I know there are many others who are in the same boat as I.  I just want to be able to take care of myself and I am finally starting to take charge and it almost looks hopeless, but I must start somewhere.  I am guilty of the taste test bit.  I will try to keep in mind what you said and watch it.
