Has it been a full month that you have had the extra 5 lbs? Your metabolism could be slowing down or you may not be having regular movements, it may be adding up. It is hot out too, perhaps its just water weight? |

I have found that your body will let you know when you are full and giving into your cravings does not effect you as much as you think it does. Just remember to stick to water and low cal drinks before you eat. Keeps you full and you can still have what you want.. You will be amazed at how much less you actually consume now that you maintain. ( cuz your stomach really did get smaller) |

I went through a similar situation as you. I was dating a guy for a while, got engaged and as we started to make plans for the wedding he became very controlling, even aggressive. Although he never hit me or raised his voice to me, his actions were devious. I realized that I wasn't truly in love with him and I didn't want to be controlled by him. (for example, I wanted to hyphenate my last name, he wouldn't let me. I wanted to go to college after we got married and he wanted me to be a stay at home mom.) So I broke it off. A few months later I found out that he married a woman that was 1 inch shorter then I was and about 100 lbs heavier then I was at the time.(at least it looked like it.) Then in to his second year of marriage he started to physically beat her. So, what I am trying to say is..... listed to your gut instinct. Your ex was the first to cheat, that proves that he didn't care about you (not thinking of you) You retaliated (means you cheated?) so you really didn't care about him. Not to mention the fact that you guys have been off and on for the last few years which means that the there is no respect for the actual relationship (imagine if you were married, anytime you guys would fight the both of you would leave and not work on it) What you had was only convenience, not a love that would endure the hardships that a marriage would bring. Great decision, and you probably lost the weight because you were relieved he was gone (while he was training) kind of like a break up in its self.....you end up making your self feel good and want to show your ex what a sexy woman he could have had (but it doesn't matter cause you don't want him anyway!) It doesn't matter what type of guy he is, if you don't feel comfortable don't get married... I am only speculating, but its what I went through after I broke it off. By the way, I am 24, been married for 3.5 years (to another guy) and together for 5.5 years |

All I know is that it takes a person 30-32 days to stick to a routine. After that time, you just get into the habit of eating well and learning whats good and bad for you. Stick it out, you will feel better in just a few days when you look at the scale and realized you just lost another 5 lbs. |

Well looks like we are making it through to our goals. 5'3" Its been exactly 90 days since Ive been on my personal weight loss challenge. Feels great to be thin and healthy and I forgot how easy it was to do it. The lowest weight I have been is 127 and that was when I was 16. I don't like being that skinny cause I like to keep my big butt. Plus, I love to dance and what is a dancer when she can't shake it?!

I would only pass about every 3-4 days and that was when I was eating every thing I wanted and not on a diet. Now that I am, I am more health conscious and because my hubbie goes every day I decided that I need to be going as much as I could. I found that FIBER ONE cereal does the trick, after 24 hours of eating a 1/2 cup with skim milk I am able to go and now its every day some times even 2x. Knowing that I am regular does make me feel better, mind and body..... how silly is that! Just remember to drink plenty of water.... |

| Health & Support | Vitamin B6 | Sep 17 2008 18:36 (UTC) |

I would stick to the vitamins rather then the drink. I take just Vitamin B12 cause I don't have any energy and it works and I don't have to worry about any calories. All of the "B" vitamins help with energy.... take to much and your body just pees it out. They do help your mood too, it is recommended that people with depression or Bipolar take the B's. |

Fish oils contain omegas in it and are good for avoiding cardiovascular disease and helps inflammation in your body.
I personally only take vitamin B12 for energy. |

Last night I didn't have much in the fridge either. I came up with zucchini, yellow and green, onion, tomato, kidney beans, carrots, seasoning to tast and parmesian cheese on top. The whole thing cost me $5 bucks and I fed 4 people. I had three servings which = 353 calories, it was really good. |

Any beer that says Ultra on it is around 64-84 calories! I like sticking to vodka and sugar free Red Bull. |

I agree with everyone that said Vodka and like Strawburpu posted, I drink mine with Sugar free Red Bull which only has 10 calories. I buy a bottle of vodka so I know how much I consume and I figure out the calories..... Plus its way cheaper then buying a drink at the bar. Then I just stick to water in between my shots. You got to remember that dancing for 5 minutes burns 28 calories, 10min = 56...etc. If your like me, I dance at least 2 hours from 10-3am. So having vodka and a low cal drink will be way off your hips before you get home! |

| Weight Loss | This is just plain WEIRD! | Aug 21 2008 19:11 (UTC) |
|
It happens to me to. I go through the whole week being extremely good on my calorie intake. However, when Saturday night comes I go to the club and drink alcohol to high heaven and a little water to keep the headache away and I dance, dance and dance all night usually from 10-3pm. This is my one night to be free of my kids and to spend the day with my hubby. Guess what, the next day I get on the scale and I am exactly 2 pounds lighter! Its been working for me for the last 8 weeks that I have been on my calorie count. You have to remember though, staying thin and loosing weight means being healthy and maintaining it. I think this site really helps educate people even if they fall of the wagon. I hear stories of people say that they started in 2006, lost 40 pound then stopped logging. They came back to CC in 2008 and have only gained 10 pounds back. To me that is a real lesson learned. If you don't learn the tricks to staying healthy then all the 40 lb would have all come back. |

| Weight Loss | PMS | Aug 19 2008 18:59 (UTC) |

There are a couple of tricks that I do. First, find a Birth control that will help lesson the symptoms of PMS. I have been using Nuva-Ring and I have found it to work very well. Second, I find that exercising or playing some sport really hard during my Period will cut its 7 days to about 5-6 days. Third, get your self Diuretic. They are pills that help with the symptoms of PMS especially bloating. You can get them at any store for about $5-7. Don't get the blue pill if you want to get blue-green urine.....stay with the white pills. Fourth, stay away from salty foods. Five, drink plenty of water. |

I started taking Activia Lite. It has been working for me and helping me go every day I just don't like adding the 70 calories to my intake. I think I would like to try Metamucil since you said it helps with regularity. |

This link may be able to help.
http://www.self.com/health/activity/calculato rs/dancing I go out every Saturday night to the club and have vodka with sugar free Redbull since it has the least calories combined, so this information is very useful. I go from 9-3am and dance about 2 hours all together. Its nearly 700 calories!

I am not big on traditional names. I always know to many people with the same name. Like my name Crystal. I named my daughter Keona Lee and my son Javin McKay, not to be pronounced Gaa-vin, its Jay-vin. My sister and cousin have picked out unique names as well. Alazay, Shilo, Lyric, Joeziha, Hennasea, Ryder, Eva, and Kylanna, Spelling unique names is the best part of it all. |
