Make sure the salon fixes the mistake free of charge, but I would advise listening to any recommendation they provide, as far as timing. |

| The Lounge | Does Any One Else Here Play World Of Warcraft???? =] | Aug 21 2008 11:19 (UTC) |

I don't play WoW, as I can't stand graphical games... limits the imagination. If you're looking for an online RPG with much more roleplaying and depth than WoW, I'd strongly recommend Gemstone IV. You can sign up for a free 30 day trial at www.play.net/gs4 By playing, you also attain the status of uber-elite nerd, as the game is purely a text-based RPG, with no silly looking graphics to tell you what something looks like. You also won't encounter any idiots saying "LOL BUFFZ PLZ!!!!11" |

| The Lounge | To tattoo or not to tattoo...that is the question... | Jul 03 2008 12:45 (UTC) |

Here are my short, simple rules for tattoos: 1. Nothing from the wall. Flash is unacceptable. 2. No tribal. You, by all likely hoods, are NOT in a tribe. 3. No Kanji. Again, the language isn't relevant to 90% of the people who get the ink. It makes as much sense as going to the shop and asking for "ONLY GOD WILL JUDGE ME" across your back in Tagalog. I have a few more, and I'll get to them in due time. |

I can't believe no one has played internet detective yet. [***EDITED TO REMOVE THE PHONE NUMBER*** Apparently people aren't allowed to wallow in their own ignorance on this board] is a valid cell phone number with Verizon Wireless from Newport News, Virginia. His profile lists him as being from Virginia, and 757 is the area code for Eastern Virginia, so it may be real. |

Check out ThreatFire.
I wouldn't recommend it for people who will run and install anything that flies through their inbox, but if you have a touch of common sense, it should be fine. |

I'd build a tower. Not a stupid glass/steel tower, rather a sweet stone tower.. like a wizard's. Around my tower? My vineyard. I'd help out my family and wear fancy suits. |

| The Lounge | Dear Server... | Jun 27 2008 11:32 (UTC) |

My wife and I are both former servers, though I only held the gig for about two weeks. It's a humbling and demanding way to make a living. We're sympathetic to the cause, so we'll generally tip 20-25% for good-medium service and 15% for poor service. The only thing that will drive us to leave a restaurant is not having our server acknowledge us within 5 minutes of arriving. This rule is written in stone. |

| The Lounge | what's the BEST movie you'e ever seen? | Jun 25 2008 17:14 (UTC) |

"Shichinin no samurai" - Seven Samurai Akira Kurosawa is a genius. I purposefully neglect a lot of Japan's cultural exports because I find them, and the people who obsess over them, annoying to an astonishing level. However, this film was released in '56, before stuff got weird and anime/magna/jap-pop nerds rose to prominence, and is one of the greatest cinematic achievements known to man. |

If you've already registered for classes, try to get each of your professors to tell you which book they're going to be using for each respective class. I've always been able to find a current edition, or sometimes the previous edition - check with the professor to see if it will suffice, on Amazon.com or Half.com for at LEAST half off of the bookstore price. Do some research and you'll save a ton of money in textbooks. You'll be surprised at just how many classes state requirement for a text, and in reality, you never even crack the $150 hunk of paper open. |
