The other day I was hanging out with my boyfriend and we were courious to see what we weighted together... so I jump on his back and we step on it. It flashed a few numbers and then nothing! We broke the scale and now I need a new one! |

I had a similar problem too. My seat ended up being way to low. Once I changed the height my knees haven't bothered me any more. I think when I first started I was intimidated by being to high off the ground, but you get used it. Good luck and keep on riding! |

This advice is great... I think I just need to stick with it and I'll get there. My strength could definitely increase and I know that will help. Heather, my pedals are just regular stock platforms. I think its time for an upgrade. I don't know if I am ready for the clip on ones but I need something with more traction so my feet stay on better. I've actually been googling pedals on and off during work today and am shocked at how much some of them cost! |

WOW!! Go Frog!! 61 miles!! What an accomplishment, you must be so proud! That sucks about your bike shop. My local shop is horrible too. I swear the owner is drunk whenever I go in there and I always leave feeling ripped off. I think next time I need something I'll just suck it up and drive the extra 30 minutes. I have a Giant mountain bike that I bought off one of my friends sons, he just turned 16 so he's pre-occupied with cars not bike, and I love the thing. Its pretty light and easy to maneuver. Although yesterday I had a nice little run in with a root. My bike and I both went flying... luckily neither of us were severely injured!

Hey Olivia! Awesome idea!! I've gotten the bike fever lately too! I absolutely love it. I pretty much ride outside but when it rains, like today, the stationary bike is my best friend.
Anyways... biking in all its forms is awesome! Especially when its done by hot chicks like us!! :) |

Thanks for all the good advice! I think that that is the right approach Bob... I just need to take it slow and get used to gearing. The more I ride the more confidence I'll get. Its just frustrating because I feel like I could be better and I'm just not there yet. And I think slapping the BF is a great idea!! :) |
