well when your eating your proteins and carbs and fats, try to make them quality sources, like lean meats, for protein, and good fats monounsaturated and polyunsaturated from nuts or oils. carbs, try to make complex carbs, like from whole wheat bread or oatmeal or sweet potatoes, not starchy white potatoes or potato chips or something like that |

i would either keep shopping around for a pair that doesnt make your feet bleed or wear shoes that arent necessarily meant for workingout, like i wear my converses to work out sometimes. |

i just have problems reaching my maintenance calorie level, so i like to eat foods like pb, almonds, and now, i guess avocadoes, so i can reach that level. cuz im currently in metabolism recovery. i have been for about 3.5wks. =) |

yeah that can really suck kankan. i just started incorporating going backwards on the elliptical machine and it killed my butt and like right below it! i was sore for like 4 days. i still kinda am. but it lets you know that your working your muscles and part of being fit and active! =))) |

yeah suicide was on my mind alot. and, things ticked me off and made me really sad and mopey alot more easy. i snapped on my parents alot and stuff. i just grew very introverted and removed from everyone. not only was the starvation affecting me physically, but severely mentally as well. i was not fun to be around im sure. keep eating more. you'll feel awesome. i know even on like 1400, i felt so much more vivacious and energized. on 2000+ (what i'm eating now), i feel like how i think someone living a full life should feel. mentally, im more aware and keen. school work is easier. and social situations aren't as arduous and bothersome. |

oo lord. when i was eating less than 1000 calories i was sick allllll the time. it made me really weak and very very moody. i think it was part of the reason y i got mono earlier this yr cuz mybody was sooo weak. i was really dizzy all the time too very un-fun |

i dont have any near what u all have. but i go into the yoga room at our gym to do my swiss ball exercises, abs stuff, and squats and lunges. except, once i opened the door to do my routines and there was a yoga class going on inside! i was like whoops! and closed the door and silently walked away lol!
keb, dont be nervous. i was nervous too, cuz i thought ppl would be condescending and like uppity towards a newcomer. like psh look at her! what does SHE know??!! idk i guess sorta like a territorial thing. but, the ppl at my gym are so nice and friendly. and understanding and such. :-) i always look forward to going to the gym! i hate sitting still anymore! sometimes, i even go twice a day. |

on my one day off from the gym, i eat 1600 calories cuz im sedentary. usually, on these days i let myself cheat a little, cuz i know thats important to do to prevent binging. like, i had a tiny bit of peach coffee bread and pumperknickel bread. :-) the rest of the week a workout anywhere from 30mins-1hr. so, i eat anywhere from like 1950-2300. though, i usually end up at around 2050 those days. i eat anywhere from like 120-150g of protein a day, and like 4-7g of sat fat. and probably like 175-250g of carbs a day. ive just recently switched up my routine cuz my body adjusted to the old one. other than that, ive been working out the same. and im eating to restore my metabolism. i was eating wayyyy lower than i should have for like almost two years, like under 800cals/day. =) |

i used to drink vanilla soy protein but it had wayy to much sugar per serviing, so i switched to vanilla whey. the whey product i use has 1g of sugar and 280mg of sodium, 60g of protein per serving, and 1g of sat fat. i always drink one after a workout and mix it in a blender with ice, water, bananas, and 2T of my natural pb. or, i mix it in a blender with ice, water strawberries bananas and sometimes fruit like cantalope or honeydew. its sooo yummy. theyre like milkshakes, which are one of my favorite foods. and these are healthy so theyre a good fix for my milkshake cravings while being healthy and proteindense at the same time! =) |

everyother day i do half an hr on elliptical, sometimes an hr. on the odd days i do like fifteen mins of weight lifting on my arms and twenty on my core in addition to abbout 25 mins on elliptical =) i occasionally walk too. |

ugh its hell. i take a birthcontrol for it. =( im off my period as of today and i didnt weigh myself as it takes me like a few days after my period for everything to resume to normality. plus, the water retention positivelinny mentioned should recede after a few days, so i will weigh myself in a few days. thx for all the help though. =D <<333 |

i absolutely feel really good after a work out. not so much high all the time, but just a general feeling of accomplishment, like ive done something good for myself and my body. and yea i feel the same when i dont hit the gym everyday of the week. since ive been working out religiously, like everyday, since this spring, its become a part of my life. i feel different, like weak, when i dont. i love working out!! woohoo lol =D |

when i toured there, my tourguide showed me the gym that looks like a big white dome. it was all so overwhelming. 8-0 ok, thats good to hear. as long as i can exercise daily, im happy. do u like it at UD?

thx for all the great advice. =) i plan on buying a mini fridge. i guess stereotyping college life has made me think im constantly like gonna be in class or studying, thusly, no time to stop at the dorm and make a pro shake or make oatmeal.

for me, my waist begins in the morning around 27" by the end of the day, its about 27.5. and yes, avoid sodium and sugar. like i dont add any salt whatsoever to any of my meals. picking naturally tasty foods, like sweet potatoes, or nice plain roasted pork chop that dont need salt r key. i try not to eat over 2000mg of sodium a day, though i hover around 800mg oo, another trick starbuck1123, is to take magnesium and calcium pills. i take a 200mg magnesium pill before bed and 1200mg of calcium, plus the mag and cal from my daily vitamin. idk the actual science behind y these two r said to help w bloating, ive just read about it. and ill try just about anything to relieve my bloating. hope this helped. =) |

i can identify with you two 100 PERCENT!! even after something small, like a peach and cantalope, i bloat like a balloon. i hate it. and it doesnt stop there. the bloating causes me to gain weight, esp during my period. luckily, it recedes and the extra weight drops off, but it is so turbulent. one day its weight gain with bloating and the other im fine. but that ratio is like 9 to 1. bloating is very uncomfortable. it makes u feel havier than u actually r and i tend to eat less cuz i think ive gained, which adds another bad thing to it.
tues im meeting with my gynocolgist to c if i have endometriosis, which can cause bad bloating. i believe i have IBS too |
