Yipes. I did way too much birthday celebrating last week. I ate out about 4-5 times this last week alone. Dang it. These are my sad sad results. SW 249 LW 248.2 CW 250.6 GW 164 Justsmileandnod- Your weight loss may be going slower than you hoped but it's still going down. That's good. Some weeks are like that. I'll get a chiptole burritto and then tell myself that I'm going to eat half for lunch and half for dinner. Yeah right. Then I end up eating half for lunch and half at 3:30 for a snack. : ) Victoria I agree with you. Sodium is crazy. I'm always amazed at how much sodium is in everything. I really have to watch that myself since my doctor put me on the "water pill" in January. I hate taking any meds...... Oh well, I keep telling myself that if I just stay focused and committed I can get off of them. I know next week will be better. I am loving all of the california sun but not all of the wind. My allergies have been crazy |

Thanks so much. I like the sparse membership because it's easy to get lost in a big group. : ) I think I'm 5'8" even though the doctor says 5'7.5" Ha. I will be so happy to see a "Normal" BMI. I don't know if I've ever been at a normal BMI since childhood. What day do you weight in? |

I have the same type of question ladyzirk. I'm having a hard time figuring out what my calorie amount should be. I'm 5'7, age 37 and I weight 243 pounds. I put the meter as sedentary although I do a half hour to one hour of exercise a day. Currently CC says that I should eat 1450 calories a day. Does that seem accurate. I would be grateful for any help. |

I love this forum. I'm 37, single, with one Fur baby. I tend to start off well but I have a hard time staying motivated. I started CC about a month ago but I just know started really counting my calories. My SW was 244 and I think my CW is 242. My goal for this Saturday is to lose 1 lb and exercise 3 times this week. |

I know what you mean. I also have a office job and I bring my lunch everyday. Sometimes I use a tortilla or whole wheat pita bread for my sandwiches. That helps to cut down on the calories. Sometimes I'll use Humus instead of mayo and it gives it a nice tangy flavor. I hope that helps some. |

Thanks so much for the information. I just started logging my food today and I was so alarmed at how much sodium I had. Good Grief. It was 4209. I have to really watch that. I would have never guessed that it would be that high. It's twice the recommended amount. Yipes |
