I am a 36 DD... Actually, my left breast is 36DD and my right breast is a 36D... One full cup smaller... Talk about a pain in the butt....

I also went to Victoria Secret and refused to pay $48.00 for a bra... I went to Fredericks of Hollywood and they have great bras for half the price.... They lift and give my boobs great support and they have plenty of size selection........ You can also buy a 36C to substitute for a 34D... Any professional bra store should tell you that....

I bought 5 bras and 12 panties to match for $220.00.... I would have only gotten 4 bras at Vistoria Secret for that price....

Start date: 7-10-08

Beginning weight: 148.8  Age: 36   Height: 5'2".....

I now weigh 132.00... I started eating 800-1000 calories per day, but quickly learned from this site that was a big no no... I increased my calories to 1200-1400 calories... I walk/run combo 4-5 days a week for 30-60 minutes.. I just started strength training 3 days a week... My weight loss has slowed because I have lost 17 lbs so my calorie burn estimate with exercise is only 1700-1800... Its harder to make my 500 calorie deficit so that is why added strength training to build muscle.. Muscles burn more calories which is another fact I have learned from this great site.... I make sure I eat 5-6 meals a day to keep my metabolsim moving.....

My goal weight is 115.....

I am really out of shape without a lot of muscle so hopefully I will get at least 12 weeks....

I can buy dumbells for home at a later date when the bands no longer work..

I didnt know that the bands would not work after a certain timeframe.. Thank you...

I just want my body back and dont want any set backs...

With an hour cardio I burn 300 calories.. and I really need a more than a 500 calorie deficit... My weight didnt move at all this week....

I thought I would need to do something to get things moving again...

Bad idea?????

May I suggest that you tell her that your financial situation has changed and at this time you cannot continue to hire her for her services..

If she continues to push, I suggest repeating the same answer which would be a kind decline. Normally, they give up..

Just stick to your guns.. If she conitnues pushing, just look at her dead in the eyes and repeat I am really sorry but I just cant continue to hire you at this time.... REPEAT REPEAT REPEAT.. Dont waiver your answer.....

But, be kind....

Anit-depressants do make losing weight harder because it slows down your metabolsim..

 

I switched to Celexa from Effexor SR in April... I gained 10 pounds real real fast... I did some research and found that 8 out of 18 patients on celexa gain 10-25 pounds in the first month...  I read blog after blog of people complaining that they gained 30,40, 60 punds on Celexa.... I was on it only 2 months...

I had my doctor switch me again to Wellbutrin SR and started my diet....

My daily calorie intake has not reduced at all.. Thats because it's already at 1300 and to be on a safe and healthy diet you need at least 1200 calories.

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR... I am so aggrevated.

Ugh....... I guess I will need to do extend the treadmill to an hour instead of 30-40 minutes.. I always make sure I burn at least 200 calories... I will incrase it my calorie burn to 250.

This stinks.... I spoke to a doctor and she said I could reduce my calories to 1000 since I am eating 6 meals per day and my metabolism will not shut down and go into starvation mode...

Less food.. just great....

Now that does stink.. Its hard to make my calorie deficit... especially a safe and healthy deficit..

PS.... You need to be having a 500-600 calorie breakfast... First, it starts you metabolism... 2nd... It helps control those unwanted snacks....

This is an example of one of days..

Breakfast..  Pedridge Farms WHOLE GRAIN cinnamon raise bread with peanut butter and a glass of 2% milk...

Snack: Banana

Lunch: canned light tuna in water, fresh steamed squash, onions, mushrooms, sprikled with parm cheese and Ms Dash for flavor.. I steam all the veggies in the microwave at work and toss the tuna in...

Snack: Soy Choc Slender Protein drink.

Dinner: 5oz steak on the grill, half a sweet potatoe and more steamed veggies..

 

I must be doing something right because I am 36 5'2 and I started at 148 pounds on 7-7-08... I now weigh 135 as of today.....

INCREASE YOUR CALORIE INTAKE NOW......

I did exactly what you diod when I started my lifestyle change and wanting to get in shape...

I lost 7lbs in the first week and I am sure you are thinking that is great... BUT IT IS NOT... I mainly just lost water weight.... By the end of my second week, I lost a few more pounds.... Then, at the end of the third week I gained a pound... HUH.. WAIT... WHY...... Because my body went into starvation mode and started storing my fat....

I posted a HELP ME blog and the readers on here told me I needed to increase my calories at least to 1200.00 My friend is a trainer and nutrionalist told me the same thing when I consulted her....

I increased  to 1100-1200 and again at the end of my 4th week, not much change in my weight.. Upset so again I posted a Blog and readers said it may take a week or 2 for my body to adjust and I should  increase my calories more to 1300-1400 since I was burning 200-300 calories from exercising..

Well... At the end of the 5th week, BAM the scale dropped 3 pounds... Then another 2 pounds the following....  YOU NEED TO HAVE AT LEAST 1200 calories a day.....I know it seems weird that you need to eat more to lose more., but it is a proven fact.....

Well..

I suggest go to Target or Walmart and get a plain digital scale... I just bought one from Target and it cost me 19.99... You can buy a fancy scale that will calculate BMI, but you can do that for free on the internet...

I highly recommend digital because there will be some weeks that you may only lose .5 or half a pound... That is common and normal to lose a 1/2 pound and you will want to see all your progress and not get disappointed......

Sometimes, keeping it simple is better.....

I had the same problem as u.. However, after listeming to these folks and I increased my calories I started losing weight again... DONT FREAK OUT IF U GAIN WEIGHT IN THE BEGINING.... Your body needs time to correct and restart....

Eating a BIG breakfast and keeping a diary of my calories has helped me...

Amazing whats in our food....

Drinking A LOT of water makes my tummy feal full and I dont snack as bad......

Last but not least, making sure I am taking in enough calories... Its true what they say about your body going into startvation mode.. A week after I increased my calories, I lost 3 pouinds

I had read that the FDA is now doing further research on Lasik due to complaints...The TV ad, stated 3% of patients have complications and highlighted the extreme case below.....

A 24 year old male had lasik and after two years of suffering extreme pain after the surgery, he killed himself.... In his suicide note, he stated he was tired of the pain from his lasik surgery....Here is the article..... This was very recent....

Yes.. It was a middle of the day snap shot of my estimated burn...1900 calories..

I just worked out and entered my activity and my current estimated burn right now is 1830...  

My calorie in take says Ishould only take in 1300...

Well.. That stinks.... At a restaurant, I ordered a House Salad with grilled chicken and I looked this morning on the company's nutritional site and it had 600 calories plus my dressing...

I ABOUT DIED.... How can lettuce, cucumbers, spinkled cheese (not alot chz)  and grilled chicken breast have 600 calories... then my dressing.... grrrrrrrr.. Lesson learned....

New day today.... at least I was negative....

THANK U.... I will increase my calories more towards 1300 +....... I only eat vegetables and some source of meat... Normally Fish.. Some red meat once a week and of course chicken chicken...  I eat 3 meals and 2 snacks. I drink my water... NO SODAS.... only one cup of coffee and thats not even everyday....

My problem is vegtables and fruits do not have a lot of calories.. I eat ALOT of veggies to fill my tummy.... I will add something.. Maybe peanut butter just for the calories?????

Any ideas on foods to get that last 300 calories without messing up my diet and goals?

What should I increase to...????? My calorie counter says 1300...... and I have already increased once.... I stay between 1200-1300...

I am so confused... I dont want to slow down my progress or give myself a set back...

 You should have a big breakfast with 500-600 calories anyway.. Thats good...Do a search on Google about Big Breakfasts... It really prevents over eating later in the day .. controls munchies and gets your metabolism burning....

I also watch my calories like madness.. I used to binge eat at night.. However, I read several articles about making breakfast your biggest meal.... 500-600 calorie breakfast.... Then follow up with a modest lunch and lite dinner... However, also make sure you have a small snack in between your meals...

Google Big Breakfast...It has helped me..
