I sprinkle garlic powder on my dogs food.  Never had a problem with fleas since.  My grandfather shared this with me and he swore by it (he raised dogs for many years and only used "home remedy" meds).  My dogs breath isn't the greatest but fleas aren't a problem and he's healthy! -- So sorry to hear about the losses many of you experienced I will share your stories and pass the word on.

How about starting out with 15 minutes early and work your way to the time you want.  Maybe start out with a couple of days stretching for 15 minutes, then go to 20 minutes, etc.  Each time you succeed with the 15 minutes you will feel better about it and be ready to add 5 more minutes.   Good Luck

Been going thru it right now too.  I ate 1/2 jar of peanut butter yesterday!  I honestly could not stop myself.  I tried putting everything away, just to get out another spoon and the jar again, even logged it in so I could visibly see the calories I was eating.... still could not stop.  Now, recapping the whole thing, I want more!  Thank God I am at work and there isn't any around!

Buffalo Chicken Dip

2 large chicken breast (about 1 lb.)
1 - 8oz package of cream cheese (light or low fat of course)
6 TBLS of Franks hot sauce (any will do but Franks is the best)
1/2 cup shredded cheese

Poach chicken in deep skillet.  Move to plate when cooked and use 2 forks to shredd.  Return to pan and add cream cheese and hot sauce, heat thoruoghly.  Stir in shredded cheese.

Can serve this warm or cold.  Serve with crackers or celery.

Very Yummy!

Yes! And I actually ended up blaming the dog, and they totally believed me and started questioning the owner about the dogs food and maybe changing it.  Lesson learned never eat chinese food before drinking (unless there is a dog near by to blame!)

Have you ever exposed yourself to a crowd?

Bacardi now has rum (coconut, raspberry, and banana) that are 1/2 the calories of regular rum.  I believe thats the name of it -- 1/2 Calorie Bacardi Rum.  I personally like the coconut with light cranberry juice!  Yummy and good for me (well that's my story anyway!)

Sally Hansen line makes pretty good nail repair products.  The first couple days are the worst then the pain goes away, but it does take a long time for your nails to totally heal.  I had my fake nails for almost 3 years, and took about 1 year for my nails to totally heal.  Good Luck!

Weight Loss Question? May 20 2006
22:14 (UTC)
I actually posted about this not long ago.  I was hospitalized 15 years ago for anorexia.  After that many years and gaining weight (too mcuh) I thought it would never be a problem again.  But now that I am losing and trying to do it healthy I find myself having recurring thoughts of not eating and real guilt when I do over indulge.  I really have to make myself eat these days and am using this site to make sure I get enough calories.  I try to get at least 1200 a day but usually once I hit 1000 I start cringing at the thought of eating so much.  It is a daily battle to try to stay healthy and not let the anorexia take control of my life again.  I do believe now that it is something that will be with me for the rest of my life.  I wish I could explain why but I don't even understand myself.  Even though now I know better I still get disgusted at the thought of eating and how food will make me look and feel.
