Sorry I don't have time to read all the reponses so i apologise if this has been said already... The people from the other tribes all descended from the people God created originally, Adam and Eve, so they had experienced God and chose to walk away from him. E.g. Noah's time, people CHOSE to do what God considered wrong, so no, they did have an opportunity to know God, he wasn't just punishing anyone. Read the old testament from the beginning and it will become clearer. The rest about God's grace and living under the law has been said by others i think.

This happened to me, but i put pure vitamin E serum on it and they vanished. They are still relatively new so its really easy to get rid of them. I used a brand called bio oil, but any pure serum will do. Hope that helps... |

I will definately watch the processed foods... the only processed things I ever really eat is soup.. just on those days when I have no time to make my lunch for work. But other than that, im pretty good at making all my food fresh... thanks for the tip! Well, I've survived two sessions, and loved them. I'm very sore, but can't wait till Sat. Last night, after a combo of 100 squats, 100 lunges, 100 starters and a 100 prison squats (with sprinting in between) I felt like I could really see results in a month - it's so intense!! It's actually winter here ( i live in Australia) and I've signed up to try to get past that laziness that comes with the cold weather. just hoping to keep myself motivated through the cold months, and avoid the crying bikini shopping incidents, lol. Thanks for all your replies...

That's awesome!! I spoke to a very negative person yesterday who assured me I would have no hope of getting results in a month and that i needed at least 12 weeks to see any change! I'm glad you saw some change! And when u say clean eating... do u just mean healthy or do you mean no preservatives etc? |

well, i am not a hundred per cent sure but i can only tell u from my own experience... I don't usually work out on the weekend and im always lighter on Sat and Sun. my husband is a personal trainer and he reckons that wen ur working out, ur muscles retain more water to help them repair themselves and then in a couple of days they release the water. If you are normally working out consistently u wouldn't have seen that fluctuation till you stopped working out... Also, a lot of people on here recommend giving ur body a break or more cals to break a plateau... maybe it really does work?! |

A good book, a warm drink and some thing nice to eat, sitting in bed with my heater at my feet on a winter day (esp if it's raining outside).

Do you like the taste of sweet potatoes better? I find if i really enjoy the taste of something i'm hungry for more afterwards, even if it should have filled me up... Also, i find anything that is kinda sweet makes me want to eat more too, salty food fills me up much faster... werid but that's what i find...

Guys, don't you think some of these posts are a little inappropriate? You're mocking some one else's opinion... Obviously, you don't have to agree, but can't we still to logical arguing, rather then sarcasm and mockery? I mean, this is someone's belief system you're making fun of here, i don't think it would kill you to be a little sensitive.

Thanks for your replies... Gi Jane: I agree with you that the whole over doing vitamin c doesn't really help... and I'm trying to avoid a multivitamin because i want my body to actually be able to defend itself without outside help if you know what i mean. It's just frustrating because I am excersising 4-5 times a week, I eat lean protein (chicken, meat, tuna, salmon) and heaps of veggies... I think there is a possibility I don't eat enough fruit though which could be a big factor. And you're both right, I don't really sleep enough I think... I might try to start getting to bed an hour earlier and see if that helps... I feel like such a granny having to sleep early so I don't get sick, lol. Oh well, whatever it takes, I just hate being so sick... Thanks again for your replies, and if anyone else has anything to add that would be awesome.

Hi Lalabanana, I know you moved this one to food since the title suggests that what I'm asking for, but I'm really just looking for any suggestions on how to boost my immune system... since no-one seems to have any ideas on here (or just isn't particularly interested) could you post this in health and support again in case anyone on that forum has ideas?

Ok so i'm guessing you already realised that you could have had some more nutritiuos food (sooo while i agree with giasbash on the content of her post, i can tell u now, ur going to get hammered for the way u said that, no need to be so negative i'd say)... The cal count might be low, but for someone recovering from an ED that's a big achievment, so focus on being proud of that for starters. You could probably get a lot better bang for your buck with some more wholesome food, but again u already know that. You don't need to eat lighter tomorrow, just maybe try to incorporate some of the above suggestions into your day.... esp if ur at work so you don't end up feeling really tired. Just take it one day at a time, and keep working on tweeking ur diet till u find something that u can handle without too much fuss but that's also good for you...

| Weight Loss | Do you limit carbs at dinner? | Oct 23 2008 05:17 (UTC) |
24 |
She's asking us if and how it works.. someone recommended it, and she's wondering if it's a good idea and helps with weight loss... so yes, she has asked why, she asked us... i think it helps a lot, later at night, u have no need for carbs because ur not moving around much. I know that it's about calories not when exactly, but i've found that having my carbs earlier in the day gives me energy when i need it, and then leaving it out of dinner has helped me lose alot of weight. I find with the last 5 kilos, cutting out carbs at night is the only thing that worked. This is because over night and in the evening, ur body begins o burn fat. The body uses carbs as the first thing burnt for energy. If you don't give the body that carb, its starts working on fat which is why protein/low carb diets work. I normally have chicken/steak etc with a big salad, or stir fried/steamed veggies. It usually keeps me pretty full till bed. It's not a big deal if you have rice/pasta but I have found cutting down does help me personally. |

I know... i didn't mean to up it so drastically, i've been gradually moving up and haven't had any major problems, but i just overdid it a bit... I just wanted to know if walking it out/light cardio would kinda help the recovery? My husband seems to think that not exercising will make the reovery longer, not sure! i always warm up and down pretty well (it's not like a have any kinds of injuries, just normal soreness, it's just more than usual is all..) Thanks for the input... |
