| I had the same problem. I don't have any on my legs, but I do on my elbows. I have it the worst in my scalp, and currently am trying to find a shampoo that could help me. Another store that just started is Sephora, they carry Triceram. If you don't have either one of these stores in your area, you can order it online. I really hope you get this, and if you do let me know how it works for you. I am 100 % sure you would absolutely love it. It is a little pricy, but what it is worth is much more than what it costs. It is normally about $30 a bottle. I don't know exactly how much you have put into the products you have used, but I have probably used over $400 on just about everything that claims to get rid of psoriasis. The spot that I mentioned in my previous entry is now GONE !!! no more, lol. | |||

| TriCeram is a healing cream thats needs to be applied only once a day. It helps people with dry skin, itching... everything. It may take a week or so to see the difference, but it is well worth it. I use to have it on my face and a lot on and around my hairline, and since I started using this product 6 months ago I have only one small spot on my hairline. None on my face !!! You can get it at Nordstroms. | |||

| I have psoriasis too, and it is very hard to keep under control. One cream that I use that is absolutely awesome is Tri-Ceram. I recommend it to everybody that has psoriasis. That is good that you are drinking that amount of water. Have you read up a lot on psoriasis and what not to eat? The things you should absolutely not have are red meat, dairy, carbonated drinks, alcohol, any salty products, tomatoes, potatoes, grapefruit, any foods with a lot of acid. I don't know if you have a Whole Foods in your area, but they have this really cool thing on their website that tells you what foods they sell that are sodium free (thats what you want), and dairy free. I have just gone through each chart and wrote the foods down that were on both charts. They don't have absolutely have everything there, so I would suggest going to trader joes, or any healthy food store, and looking up on their website what they have before you go. Trader Joes also has the option that Whole foods has on their web site. I hope I have been of some help. Let me know if you need anything else.

| Weight Loss | calories and calories burned | Mar 17 2006 15:56 (UTC) |

| Okay, according to the activity chart I have been burning about 1200 calories a day. So that means I would only be able to eat 700 calories a day. But that would cause me to go into starvation, and I don't want that. I only log my work I do at my job, and the exercise I get in the morning. Maybe I am not logging everything in. I just noticed that sleeping is an activity to log in.
Also, I gained 2 lbs over night. I don't know why, or what could have caused it. The only thing I did different yesterday was not drink as much water as I normally do, only because I just didn't have time. Could not drinking water cause me to gain weight? |

| I think that is perfectly okay. I have the worst sweet tooth in the world. Girl scouts started selling these low calorie/ low fat lemon cookies this year. I think 5 cookies is 100 calories. Yum, Yum, Yum. I have been doing this since I started this program a little over a month ago, and I have los 10 lbs. | |||

| The Lounge | Is there anyone experiencing self image issues? | Mar 13 2006 16:19 (UTC) |

| I think just about every young woman goes through this issue sometime in their life. I know it is hard to not care about what your bf thinks, but just remember, your body is your body. Whether or not you change it should be because you want to do something for yourself, not because you want to look like young lady he may look at on a magazine. I started working out 7 months ago so I could look better for my bf, because I had gained 30 lbs since we first met, and I thought I noticed him changing. Once I started loosing weight and feeling better I slowly started doing it for myself rather than my bf. A little over a month ago I found this website and changed my eating habbit for MYSELF, and have lost 10 lbs since then. Once I changed my view point of doing this for myself, I no longer saw my bf as I did before. I was totally exatering (can't spell) lol. I realize that no matter how long you have been with someone, they are still going to be attracted to the opposite sex. I still find myself looking at attractive guys, but I never will do anything more than look. So, your bf sounds like he is just being a guy. As long as he is not doing anything more than looking, I think everything is fine. I hope what I have said helps you. Good luck, and we are here for you whenever you need us.

| Awesome!!! That happened to me too this past friday night I was totally having a sweet tooth, and when saturday came around I was terrified of what I would see on the scale, and I lost a little about a pound, and was just amazed. I thought maybe the scale was broken so I got on it again, and it said the same thing again!!! I think a splurge is needed every once in a while. My body was telling me something on friday. I knew cause Saturday I was feeling much better. Great job on the two lbs. | |||

| Weight Loss | Switched Birth Control Pill--any new chance for weight gain? | Mar 06 2006 04:10 (UTC) |

| Everyone is different. In my case I switched from ortho-tricyclin to depo provera, and I gained alot of weight. I switched again to the nuva-ring about 3 months ago, and I am loosing weight. so I don't know if the depo was something that caused me to gain weight or not, but it sure felt like it. I didn't change my diet one bit when I changed from ortho to depo. So like I said earlier... every one is different. You won't know what happens until it goes either way. Good luck !!!

| First of all, welcome. This website is absolutely awesome. I have lost about 10 lbs in the past month in a half or so. One thing I would recommend if you have the time for is joining a gym that has a day care center in it. 24 hr fitness is where I work out at. However, from last August to February I was just working out, and nothing else. I was still eating the "bad food". When I started counting my calories and watching my fat intake, I lost 3 lbs the first week, and have been loosing since then. I have 20 more lbs to go, and I know we all can do this together. We are here for you when ever you need us.

| Hi everyone, I started this program 2 saturdays ago and it is absolutely awesome. I have lost about 5-7 lbs since then. I am currently 162, and my goal weight is 145. I am 5'8 and medium build. Last August some of my friends and myself decided to weigh ourselves on this new scale one of my friends had, and I weighed 180 lbs. The most I have ever weighed. I really want to loose 19 lbs by June 4 (my 21st birthday). My bf and I are going to Las Vegas, and I want to look spectacular. I wish you all the best. Just remember that you can do anything you put your mind to.

| I don't know if you have a yoga ball. But if you do one thing you could do is put your ball against the wall, and get down on your knees right in front of the ball, and just do small push ups against the ball. It is so much easier than doing a regular push up. I recommend that everyone have a yoga ball. You can do absolutely anything with them. Thats what I do.

| Weight Loss | Help! | Feb 14 2006 18:35 (UTC) |
|
| We are very glad to be able to help you out with whatever you need. One thing I would recommend that I do myself is workout in the morning before you eat anything. I am up and at the gym at 4:15 every morning. I know thats early, but I work fulltime, and go to school part-time at night. So I know how hard it is to keep track when you are always on the run. When you are hungry after you have already had your calorie intake for the day, have a cucumber or diet snapple. Diet snapples are awesome, and they have no calories. Another thing I do is plan my meal for the next day at night before I go to bed. Having a plan on paper kinda makes it feel official to the point to where you don't want to break it. I hope it works out for you.
