| Weight Loss | miracle belts - really????? | Jul 21 2008 04:10 (UTC) |

Have never tried the belt that hooks up and puts in you pain - does not sound like fun at all! However, I swear by the sweat belts that you wrap around you very tight and work out or sleep in...I have went from 210 to 130 and working on 119 and have found my belt to be the best buy ever! Walmart or Target should have them in the fitness section. Less than 20.00! The best one I had was black and about 1/4 inch thick and was a Golds Gym sponsored belt. I have a blue one as well but it is more flimsy and does not work as well! WEAR IT AND SWEAT! NO PAIN! |

MakeupbyKaitlyn First of all you are a beautiful person and you need to start looking in the mirror and seeing that for yourself. That goes for all of us! Write down some serious answers to why you want to be FIT and HEALTHY! You miss cheerleading? Maybe because when you cheered your endorphins were WAY UP and you obviously are an energetic person - most cheerleaders by nature are...(Yes, I cheered since I was 3) = 37 now but still cheering in my own way! Cheering you on to see you get in a better mood!lol What is the reason you are really unhappy? Look within yourself and the one thing I teach audiences when I speak is a simple life application to "WAKE UP"! I have been there and done that on so many things and walked in many shoes to be able to speak and teach on life. The bottom line is we - because even I am still guilty sometimes...WE get into this habit of life - we quit setting goals, we quit dreaming...we quit communicating our wants and needs and settle for the ordinary! Challenge yourself to exceed and do great things! Find your passion and what drives YOU! Life is whatever you make of it...Everyday you wake up with a choice...Is it going to be a good day or a bad day? Your choice! The hole that is empty that you are searching to complete your life and make you happy is not going to be filled by your boyfriend, your work, your bank account, the car you drive, the clothes you wear...It is going to be in FULL ACCEPTANCE in loving YOU - looking in that mirror and being proud of who you are, what you are doing today and what you are going to do tomorrow... Sorry I got on a deep subject - A bad HOUR is OK every now and then...A bad day is acceptable occasionally - A bad weeks needs to be personally evaluated...A bad month needs a doctor...A bad year needs GOD. Hope I helped a bit! I will do all I can to help you! |

| Weight Loss | eating after 7pm? | Jul 19 2008 04:59 (UTC) |

OK - You are short like me! I think we short people have to work harder at all of this! I try to not eat carbs after 4:00 - However, if you are training in the afternoon you will need a boost! I think if you slam a protein drink after your workout it will be best for you both for recovery and for sleep! One that has been a great night time drink for me is this: 1scoop vanilla protein - I am huge fan of EVOPRO - 26 protein - 3 carbs - 150 calories. 1 Tbs. of Vanilla creamer or Hazlenut**** 5 ice cubes 16 oz of water Blend and PRETEND! It is really close to a Vanilla ****MEASURE - DO NOT DUMP - Too much of this makes it not so healthy anymore! |

I love a scoop of vanilla protein - a dash of brown sugar (more if you need to gain) - I mix this often and add walnuts on occasion! Have fun! I eat it everyday! Sometimes I make it cold as a milkshake with protein/ice/water - |

| Motivation | getting married in Oct, need some help staying on track! 20 lbs to lose! | Jul 19 2008 04:35 (UTC) |

OK Gals I will help all I can! I have been married 15 years so after you get hitched I will be your guide for that as well! lol!!!Marriage is the best thing in the world as long as you communicate have the same goals! I am worried you are NOT consuming enough calories! The more you weigh the more you need to eat to lose! Sounds crazy but it is true. I can only speak for my body and my personal experience because I am not a certified nutritionist (YET) - However, I am motivational speaker and life coach and my weight story is simple. I am 5'1 - thick gal - I had 2 kids, worked 24/7 and only ate one meal a day - My perky high school body went south along with my butt and boobs! Weighed 210 in 2000 - pics on my gallary for proof - now at 132 and heading for 119! The truth is you have to EAT 5-6 meals a day to start getting the body in a burn mode! I am new to this and have no clue how to add you as a friend. Maybe someone will share since I have not taken the time to read. You can see my food intake as I am posting it everyday - My husband is training for a body building show on Sept. 20th and I am posting his progress as well - My goal is 15 lbs by September 20th - So if you want to follow what I am eating you will make some serious strides to your goals...BUT YOU HAVE TO EAT and drink LOTS OF WATER. Excercise is very important as well but what you eat is 90% of how you look and feel! The food intake I would suggest may seem boring but it is easy once you get use to it and the results you see will be so amazing that it will be worth it! How do I add you????

| Weight Loss | Binge or Delicious Indulgence???? HELP! | Jul 19 2008 04:23 (UTC) |

Meaggang... The entire process of food is really like everything else in life! You can have whatever and do whatever you want...HERE IT COMES - - - BUT - - - there are always consequences to pay. When I am taking what I call a fitness break moderation is KEY! Everyone needs a fitness break, however, understand that everyone also needs goals that are reachable! I went from 210lbs to 130lbs and took a long break. Gained back to 155 and now have been really in the best shape ever from a practical eating lifestyle. It does help that my husband is a body builder and I have to feed him and during that time feed myself 1/4 of what he eats! ASK yourself what your goals are? What do you want to do with your body? What is your motivation? Why are you wanting to lose weight? Once you align yourself in the position that you are doing this for YOU and NOONE ELSE and you are wanting to be healthy and FIT for life - you will be on the right mission! THEN...follow a program consistently - reward yourself with ONE cheat meal a week - NOT A CHEAT DAY and then of course if you see something you have to JUST HAVE OR life is miserable than do it moderation and as Alan Bates above said - BURN IT AT FAST AS YOU CAN! Best of luck to you and I will help all I can - I am new here! |

If you have a pool anywhere to dive into you will be amazed what water aerobics can do! I went from 210 to 130 doing an hour of water cardio 4x's a week and of course eating lots of yummy clean food! Just a thought! |
