| Weight Loss | tired of starving myself to lose weight! | Feb 06 2009 05:28 (UTC) |

Eating lower calories doesn't necessarily mean less volume of food. As you go along on your weightloss journey you will get to find more low calorie foods as well as low calorie recipe ideas. Fill up on veggies, follow the good health guidelines (found on mypyramid.gov) and you will see how you will be full by eating what you should be eating, while staying within your calorie target. Work out and it will make it all the better. Starving yourself will only screw up your metabolism and never let you lose weight again... |

When I'm thin I'll wear tight jeans without having to wear a big shirt to cover the muffin top... When I'm thin I'll go somewhere with a beach (miami) and show off my gorgeous body! |

Do you feel you look better? It's best to judge weight loss by how you look and how your clothes fit instead of just weight. Usually with me how much I weigh mirrors how I look. When I gain 5 lbs I could definitely notice it... same way when I lose it. But if it comes down to that, try to weigh yourself on another scale like those at the gym and the Doctor's office and compare. Good luck! |

I know exactly what you mean. If you have a digital scale like me, I step on it once and don't count the first measurement. Then I step on it again and the 2nd one is usually more accurate. Sometimes scales get all messed up when they're just sitting there. |
