ha ha no no definitely not raw... meant cold pizza when you put it in the refrigerator and eat it cold versus after warming it up in the microwave.. the grams are less after heating it up so that was my question but I guess I am just over analyzing it... guess you can't go wrong with using the higher number anyway haha

I also usually slice the pizza into smaller pieces than the seving size.

Yes I know all of those and how to figure it. That is how I used to count my calories until I found that most all food packaging or restaurant nutritional information has the grams on them which is equal to all other info on the package incluing calories. The grams are exact to the calorie intake. All prepackaged food has to weigh the amount on the package or more. So all the times I was basing my calorie consumption of 1/8 or 1 package estimates, I was really consuming more calories. The scale is what helps to make sure everything is exact. For me that is what works.

michachu- yes it does matter which one I use because the amount it weighs changes the amount of calories it has.

Surprisingly it does have a bit of a weight difference being cold or warmed up, from last night to this morning being cold and then being warmed up again!! Also I ate a smaller slice this morning than what I measured last night so I can't really use the same size to calculate... I guess I am just being to technical lol Thanks again!

I know the calories are the same. LOL

I am talking about grams, you know the number on the scale?

When you add your calories here on calorie count you can add them based on the amount your food weighs which in turn makes your calorie intake more accurate.

If the same slice of pizza weighs more before you cook it and less after you cook it which weight do I use????

So if I weigh it when it is cold that is adding water weight???

lol yes I know that!

But the weight in grams changes when you weigh it if it is hot or cold.

I am wondering which amount of grams to go off of? I figure that the amount on Papa Murphy's website is after it is cooked? So that would mean I cook then weigh to be accurate?

Well Monday night my boyfriend and I broke up so Tuesday night I decided to drink my sorrows away and followed it yesterday with a long day of eating like crap!! Today I am back in the mode, so hopefully I can get rid of those last 4 pounds to get me to 150 by next Thursday :)

Thank you so much for the suggestions! It's off to chick-fil-a for me lol!

I think that fast food is definitely my weakness so the suggestions really helped me!!

I wish I had the will power to force myself to eat something else but sometimes being bad feels so good lol! I will try that next time!

Hello I am joining half way through lol! I hope you don't mind. I uses to participate in these challenges all the time! I started CC July 18th of last year and went from 186 to 136 in 5 months! :) It was great after that I maintained it for about 4 months but then I got a bf and kind of started slacking a bit... since then I have tried to jump back on the wagon but have failed. As of now I am getting my motivation back and ready to lose some weight!! :) I am back up to 153 and want to get down to 125, my major goal, but once I am back down to 135 I will start feeling good again! So I am hoping these little monthly challenges can be a motivator for me and I am looking forward to weighing in on fridays as well as mondays for my own personal weigh in!

yay i am glad there are atleast a couple of you that are in for the bonus weigh ins! For Christmas I ate everything, and drank quite a bit of alcohol!

Quite a surprise to me! I have been lurking around 138-140 for a few weeks now so that is probably why! I feel good though I just got home from the gym! I haven't been in a couple weeks due to way to much work! so I am pleased today and am excited for next weeks weigh in especially because I am not drinking on new years so that wont accumluate any weight gain! :)

Wow! I am so sorry I am late everyone! I have been working 10-12 hour shifts everyday for the past 3 weeks! And it really started to wear on me, guess thats what happens when you work for the postal service! Lots of christmas letters!

Okay as someone that drinks coffee and also has been a cocaine user(not proud) and it was many years ago. I can vouch that cocaine and coffee are not even close, they dont have any effect reflecting eachother. 1. Cocaine is addictive while you are "on" the drug once you come down and your high is gone you are no longer "addicted" to it, the reason people continue to do it is because the comedown is so bad they want to stay feeling "good"! Once it wears off you are back to normal again. And your cravings go away.

When I am "on" coffee, I am not needing to stay high off of it all day hahaha!

It is funny because I bought a coffee maker on black friday because I am one of those people that go and get big gulps at 8am to start off my day or else I am dragging! So I did some research and decided that coffee is a much better alternative then diet coke! That being said, I can survive my morning without coffee or soda, I don't get headaches or anything. It just perks me up and my whole day I can be awake and ready to work. 10oz. in the morning and I can last 15 hours easy! With my soda it would ony last me about 4 hours and then I would need another one!
