If its not too late, I'd really like to join.  I've been keeping track of all my exercise times here on CC but I just found this challenge and would like the extra motivation.

To get to work everyday I decided to leave the car at home and walk to the train station for each of the four legs.  Actually I have two stations near me so I go to the one that's farther away.  Each leg of the commute is about a 20 minute walk, so I get 80 minutes a day just for commuting (when its not raining and I'm not feeling lazy Sealed).  I also like to put some time on my indoor rower, but that takes a lot of extra motivation.

I think I'll try to get to 3000.  That will mean some extra pushing on my part, and that's where this challenge will be a good motivator.  Perhaps this will get me on that rower more often.

Anyway, here's what I have so far this month.  I look forward to meeting you all.

May 2: Rowing 15.  15/3000

May 3: Rowing 25.  40/3000

May 4: Rowing 20.  60/3000

We're halfway through the months everyone.  Regardless of what you signed up to accomplish, and how far you've gotten mid-way through, there's still plenty of time to crank up the numbers on that burn meter.

Dumbells are relatively inexpensive and can tone most of the large muscles of the body.

Another advantage is that you can build a set of appropriate weights over time.
