| It may be acid reflux ..? When I get bad acid reflux, it feels like a chilly/cold feeling in my throat usually accompanied by chest pain. I recommend that you go see your doctor if this is concerning you, or if it gets any worse. | |||
| Weight Loss | side effects of wellbutrin? | Nov 04 2007 05:31 (UTC) |
|
| I've tried wellbutrin in the past. I was on it for about 1 week. I was on paxil, and then effexor, and didn't like the side effects, so I tried wellbutrin. When I was taking this stuff, I would cry for no reason. I would cry just by watching commercials. I just wasn't myself. I think the one antidepressant that worked the best for me was paxil, but I gained a lot of weight on it and the withdrawal is horrible. I was also on lexapro for quite a while. I think that also caused some weight gain. I just got off of lexapro earlier this year, and I honestly feel the same way that I did while I was on it. :/ Honestly, I think your best bet would be to go to a psychiatrist. Many family doctors will give you whatever antidepressant you want to try, without doing any kind of psychological evaluation (at least that's my experience). It's almost as if they're using any antidepressant of their choice as a bandaid to fix the problem. Different drugs work on different neurotransmitters. If your depression is caused by a problem with a neurotransmitter(s), then finding a drug that specifically works on that neurotransmitter would be the most beneficial. Unfortunately, this is usually done by trial and error which can take some time. Hope this helps.. :] |

| Is it all that accurate? I've played workout mode many times. When I compare my HRM results with the workout mode results, the HRM seems to always have a higher number. | |||

| dbackerfan - the f6 does have a VO2 test. I'm not really sure what the VO2 is, though. :/ The f6 does show how long I'm in my "fat burning" zone (which is supposedly when my HR is between 153 and 171). Someone said that DDR isn't that much exercise.. Well, for someone who very rarely exercises, it is a LOT of exercise :) I'm sure it doesn't seem like much exercise to someone who is very fit (and can run for 4 hours straight) I can't even run for 10 minutes. I suppose I was doing a little bit of HIIT? I would alternate between really upbeat songs and get my heart rate over 180, and then cool down for a minute or two with a slower song, and do it again. |

| thanks for your replies. Yes, I did enter all of my information correctly. the numbers never spiked for no reason and I never get weird numbers. I'd say I exercised pretty vigorously, though. During the workout, my average HR was 174. (my max HR was 206) I read in another post that a few people were burning 400-450 cals with only 1/2 hour of exercise. So, maybe 915 in 1 hour is correct ..? |

I have a gazelle. I suppose it's an 'ok' workout, if you're a beginner. Although, I don't really like it because it doesn't have any resistence settings, etc. I prefer elliptical trainers, because they usually have resistence settings, as well as other features. One plus about them is that they are low-impact, so that would probably be easier for your knee. The gazelle seems to have good reviews, though. Here are some reviews about it. |

| ok wow. Thanks for the quick response. =) Yes, it does sound weird to eat more! I calculated things out, and figured I'd have to eat around 1800 cals on the days that I exercise to achieve a deficit of 800. 1800 cals seems like soooo much, but I'll try it out for a week, I suppose.. and see how things go. :) Thanks again | |||
