hey everyone! just got back from vacation... and gained 2 pounds after I had lost 3. but, I anticipated doing that, so now I just have to get myself back on track. easier said than done.

yeah mines been fluctuating as well. however, I weighed this morning, and I have lost 1 pound... I was hoping to have lost 2, but I'll just have to work harder for next week.

I think the measurements thing is a good idea, since I'm ideally looking to lose the weight in my belly. I will go buy measuring tape tomorrow :-)

oh, p.s. starbunny, good luck with the growing! haha, I'm 19 so I already know I'm not getting any taller, I haven't grown since I was 11. but you still have some time left, so good luck! hopefully a healthy diet will help you to grow a bit, but just remember, good things come in small packages ;-)

welcome anisa, if you read, weigh ins are monday, I have set a goal for next monday to lose 2 pounds. anyone else have a goal for then? what are stones, if I may ask?

welcome to all the newbies! I'm glad everyone is good with mondays, I really think it will motivate us to "behave" during the weekend. so yesterday I was sick, good time to be dieting! I only made it to 700 calories, and most of it didnt stay if you know what I mean. so does anyone know if its a good idea to go like between 1200 and 1400-1500 every day so that your metabolism doesn't slow down? I think thats what I heard but I just want to make sure that I understand correctly.

of course! the more the merrier... we just have to motivate one another, and weigh ins will be monday mornings.. sound good to everyone? hopefully seeing each other losing the weight will be motivating! I'm hoping to lose 2 pounds by next monday.... anyone else have a goal for next monday?

hmm thats odd. mine says 1-2 pounds per week. thats what is healthy for young ladies :-) I think yours is off a bit. just stick to your diet and hopefully it will be more rapid than that. so hopefully by next monday we're each 1-2 pounds lighter! ;-)

I'll have to try  those workouts. good luck with that birthday weight! once in a while it's good to let yourself indulge for a few days though, just not to fall back into a bad pattern :-P

any day works for me, I'm thinking maybe mondays, that way we can't let ourselves go over the weekends.

yes! okay I think we need to pick a day every week where we weigh in and post it here to motivate us... also, what are you doing to lose the weight? what is your calorie intake going to be? I'm going for 1500...

if you come up with any foods or recipes that you are really liking and want to share them, I'm looking for ideas!  I'll post if I find any also!

also lafoutloud, if you find any ideas for toning up the tummy area besides situps let me know! thats my biggest problem! I have the thigh problem also alw00. I've tried to lose weight on my own but it never works. so we can motivate each other and we can do this!

ok so I'm new, but it's monday, so perfect! I want to lose 12 pounds, so a little more than everyone else.... but it's close

today I weighed in at 106.4. my goal weight is 95. I'm 5 ft tall. 19 years old.
