Hi everyone!


I'll be 20 (in about 2 weeks!).  I'm 5'1, 130 pounds right now and my measurements are 36-30-37.

This is the lowest I've been in a while!  I probably have about 10 more pounds to go overall, but I'm not exactly sure yet.  Somewhere around 120 I think is the best for me.

I'm a little late, but I'd love to join!

I only need to lose a little bit more, but I'll go for 5 pounds!  Is it okay if I count in yesterday's too?  I only really started keeping track of my deficits yesterday.  I had a 669 deficit today and a 628 deficit yesterday.

I have a number I would like to be at, but the last time I was there, I was in grammar school and not at my full height, so I'm not sure what my best weight would be.  For now, I'm experimenting with how my body looks and if I find a point where I think I look the best, I'll maintain there.  I'm 19, 5'1, and right now I'm at 135.  My goal weight is around 120, 125 (I have curves and a medium build).  If I can make it down there, I think I'll be quite happy with myself.

I'm 37" around my hips, 30" around the smallest part of my waist, and I wear a size 7 jeans.

If you were my height maybe, but I'm only 5'1" medium framed and I only plan to go to 120.

Like the other girls mentioned, I wouldn't go lower than 130.

Week 2, day 2 really wasn't fun.  I almost couldn't complete it and I needed to take longer rests.  I'll try week 2, day 3 on Friday, but I already decided I'm going to redo this week (and maybe lift some weights along the way to prepare for it).

I get my 30 minutes of cardio in with running every day, so maybe I'll up the minimum workout in that area to an hour for me.  Thirty crunches and pushups are just fine (and when I say fine, I mean working my way up to 30 pushups!).

I'm starting week 4 in the couch to 5k program, so I'm excited for that.  I decided I want to train for my first 5k.  That would be very awesome.

Had a binge day yesterday because I was down the shore, but I feel like it was worth it.  One day isn't going to hurt too much.

You know, it's strange.  I just realized this week how healthy I've become.  It's a nice feeling.

I LOVE the idea of a minimum workout.  I want to reach my goal so badly and I know I've been doing amazingly this week.  A challenge is exactly what I need to get moving.  I decided to do the 'Couch to 5k' program.  Right now, I determined that I was in the week 3 area.  I'm going to go from there.  Lately, mom has been wanting to go to the park and walk, so while she walks, I run.  I've been doing quite a lot of exercising this week and eating really well (hardly any bread or bad carbs).  If I don't see any weight loss on Friday, I'll be quite sad.

Pcarpintero, I know what you mean about the kids in school.  My brother's self conscious as it is, so my mom and I are trying to get him on good habits.  He's playing soccer this season, so I'm sure that'll help him out.  He went walking with us today and was practically exhausted by the end of it, but if we keep it up, I'm sure he'll lose the weight a little bit.  He gets frustrated easily...

On a happy note, I just made a ticker for my weight loss and I realized I was halfway to my goal! *starts singing Bon Jovi's Livin on a Prayer ("Oh, we're halfway there")* Laughing

My brother just came home from his weekly vacation with his dad and even though he's only 11, he wants to lose weight too (he's about 5'3, 160 pounds).  He's actually a great motivator because he gets outside all the time and plays basketball.  I decided I'm going to go outside and join him, either jumping rope, jogging around the driveway, or dancing with my iPod on (it's funny because I don't care if people see me).  My two best guy friends described my dancing as being erotic and neurotic at the same time. HA!  I wouldn't really call it erotic, but to each his own. Smile

I think it's going to be a good week!
