New pet peeve of the week for me.  The staff at my gym that do absolutely nothing except hang out at the front desk and gossip about who knows what.

This comes into play when there is a gym client not following rules and they do absolutely nothing to step in.  I don't think it's my job to educate fellow gym users on what they can and can't do, and I find it very concerning that the Staff will come in and out of areas, see the same bad behaviour and say nothing too.

For instance cell phone users.  My locker room has about a billion signs saying NO CELL PHONES, yet there are 5 people a day using them.  You'll see it, shake your head, and then witness the fri'ken manager of the gym, the staff from the front desk and other staff like housekeeping walk by these same individuals and they say nothing as well.  They're the ones in charge and should feel comfortable to tell the offender that they can't use cell phones in the locker room.

You see it with people who like to take their 7 year old to the cardio machines as they're to cheap to use the babysitting service.  Isn't little "billy" cute on the treadmill?  No he's not, and it's dangerous.  But does any staff member come over and say so?  No.  So you've got 15 angry clientel looking at this situation, but nobody says anything.  I have in the past, but usually it's met with "mind your own business lady".

Can you staff members please do your work?  Yes, you are hired to be trainers or clean up the areas, but isn't is also your job to enforce club rules?

Yes, that is the book I was talking about.  Really has some excellent suggestions, as we all fall into a situation where we aren't in an organic market, healthy restaurant, or other, and at least we can make the better choice on what to order.  One of the more shocking things I learned from the book was when eating tacos at places like Taco Bell, Chipotle, Baja Fresh, QDoba is to always order the taco's, in the corn and crispy way versus the flour tortillas that aren't fried.  You would think frying them makes them the worst choice but in terms of calories the flour tortillas are the worst choice.  So now I have the crunchy ones.

Craving an ice cream treat, the book says don't choose haagen daz froxen yogurt (160) but the A&W root beer float ice cream at 130.  It's not like i'm suggesting to eat this everyday, but when you want the treat, why not save 30 calories whereever you can.  See cheating days can be a little better an not over the top!

I posted the other day about a book I bought called "Eat this not That for Kids" by David Zinczenko.  I love this book as I have kids and sometimes I'm forced to go to a restaurant that serves not the best foods as my kids hate seafood.  So when I'm at a burger joint and feel like I'm cheating, I can actually make the choice to pick these restaurants best food items.  Yes, these fast food places have some ok choices that make you feel like you're cheating, but it's not that bad.

The book shows on one side not what to select at over 35 restaurants, and then what to select.  Here's one example.  When at Dunkin Donuts.  The book says don't choose the Banana Walnut muffin (sounds healthy!!) at 540 calories, but instead choose the Ham, Egg and Cheese English Muffin (310 calories) or a marble frosted donut (yum) at 230 calories.  Then there's a section of the book on choosing groceries.  Say you're having a craving for junky cereals.... the book says, don't choose French Toast Crunch at 170 calories, but Kix at 110.  You still get a cool, cheat-day like cereal, but it's not too bad!  Want a cookie snack?  The book said Vienna Fingers (150cal) and Vanilla Wafers (140) are the bad choices, but the good ones are Ginger Snaps (120) or Newman's O's (130).  So cheat days don't have to be totally bad.  You can still not pick the worst of the worst, and satisfy a sweet tooth.  This book had comparisons for practically everything (soups, frozen entrees, pizza restaurants, chocolate chip cookies, fish sticks).

My kids have even got into the book, and we're all trying to select our snack foods that have the least grams of fat and calories.  Of course we still eat all the good stuff, but I think this book is very helpful because there is always a better choice when it comes to the snacky foods and fast food entrees.

1. People who drive around the parking lot for 10 minutes to find a space close to the door, then spend a half hour walking on the dreadmill.

That's super funny.  I've been guilty, but usually it's more to do with my children and all their gear for the gym's babysitting room (snack bags, stuffed animals).  So I look for a close spot.  Then of course you think what if it's raining when I exit the gym, so you want to be close.  But of course there are days when it's sunny, no kids, and I'm guilty of looking for the dream spot.  Next time, I'm going to park further away and get an additional 10 calories burned off!!

My pet peeves in the gym (actually I'm not going to a gym right now, but I remember my peeves well)

1. Girls who wear more makeup to the gym  than I ever do to go anywhere and have their hair super perfect, so they can...what? sweat it all off? Oh wait, they don't actually sweat.

I think a lot of that is that you have women who might be going to work at 8am and then sneaking in a workout at 11am, so they are in makeup?  For me, I don't care too much about the makeup, but if they put on a ton of perfume when they went to work, and then 3 hours later they're sweating on the treadmill, I can't stand the odor of perfume and bo.

Oh my goodness -- your #2 is my biggest pet peeve.

I can't stand to see someone jump to the sides on the treadmill.

I know!  Not sure why this makes me mad, as it doesn't affect my cardio, my fat burning, my workout or anything and it's not invading my space, but well, it still makes me irritated!  I think it's because there is an embarrassment thing with treadmill, say if you can only run at 4.7 for 5 minutes and then have to go back down to 3.6 to catch your breath.  These people would rather have the "break" by not doing anything at all.  For me, I totally go up and down in speed during my cardio, and could care less if the guy next to me is laughing at my 3.2 speed (somedays after a busy weekend, I just want to do a nice slow paced walk!).

I personally think it's dangerous too, to just jump back onto the belt when it's whizzing by at 4.7 from the strattle position.  I'm sure there have been injuries with this technique.

Like I said, I've seen people jog for like 1/2 a mile on the thing, but their digital read out is like 3 miles and then you know they're bragging to their boyfriends that afternoon that they had a nice run earlier (because they go by what the computer says!!).

This was meant to be somewhat of a light hearted discussion! And as I said in previous postings, I am venting more than anything and not trying to be mean about the nudies!  I'm trying to understand the reasoning behind it???  But also trying to let those people know that there are many of us who just aren't wired with the whole locker room nudity thing.

From the previous post someone just left today.

Not comfortable with it at all. It's a room that is meant to hold your clothing and things like shampoos, combs, purses, (and to do a QUICK shower) while you go to an aerobics class or jog on the treadmill. It's not a place like Hugh Hefner's grotto to be bouncing around (yes it happens at my gym), striking a pose, showing off your new body, etc.

Nudity in confined spaces??!! I know!! I have another idea for another "industry"....  It's a stretch (analogy, or whatever you call it), but maybe some here will see my point....  Maybe how a OBGYN office could run... as so many people are so comfortable with nudity (yeah, right!!)! This would make the OBGYN's a lot of money as they could see thousands of patients in a week's time. Simply by not offering private checkup rooms, but just have ONE large exam room where 30 women can get naked and the doctor could perform breast exams, cervical checkup, etc It would save all that time of having patients slowly get dressed and undressed in the few exam rooms (I mean how many times have you waited on busy doctor's offices, because they didn't have an open room!). Imagine... all you ladies who think being nude is great, wonderful and super fun, you could hang out at Dr. Jane Doe's practice in her massive check up room and you know, chat with the locals, have some Orange Juice, paint your nails while waiting, and all in the nude with 29 women. Sounds fun, sign me up for this doctor's practice!

Again it's an example, and I know it's out there. I'm laughing, as I know it was a weird stretch, but trying to show my views on nudity in small confined spaces.  There are a large majority of people who don't want to see it and I think a lot has to do with the size of the area/room. As mentioned, I have no problem on a beach as it offers so much space and I could always move.

And finally from looking at this board, I don't think the majority is ok with the nudies. Looking at various blogs (yes, there are blogs on this topic), rants, vents, (just type in "locker room etiquette" in a google search), you'll see that we/I am not alone.

Ok, enough talk about the locker rooms, sound good?  On to trying to figure out how to lose an extra 5 pounds this month!  Let's agree to disagree on the nudies!!!   I've actually solved the issue a little bit, as I've found that the nudies aren't there at 7am, as they are at say 9am.  So see, I'm flexible and I've found a solution!!

Hi Betsy,

I guess I'd be one of those who bothers you. I do spend time working out but when I get to the change room I do like stripping down and just relaxing that way, even after I've had a shower. Usually I still feel warm from the work out after a shower and of course it's after a workout that I feel happiest with my body. So, yah I guess I take my time in the buff to cool off before I do my hair and makeup. I can say that I avoid doing any money shot poses, like bending over or legs up or stuff like that. I'm lasered clean down there so everyone is going to see most of it anyway. My guess is these ladies just enjoy their naked time.

Hugs,

Angela

I would do a cooler shower then.  The shower stalls sometimes even have benches in them to maybe linger there.  If you're just hanging out doing nothing in the buff it is quite odd.  You can get a very lightweight coverup or something, as no we don't want you to feel warm, although I can't imagine that being the case after showering?  That's my point about "enjoying naked time", the majority isn't into it, and it creates a weird situation in the locker room for others.  I doubt you'd do it in your home when you had women visitors over for a day of tanning in the backyard to "cool down" in the kitchen.

Fitness My treadmill songs- What's on your iPod when you rock the treadmill??? Aug 22 2008

It's so embarrassing as I would never go see her in concert, or dance to her music at a club or anything, plus I'm 40 so it's seriously wrong to have her music in my ipod, but on the treadmill, Britney Spears music really has a good beat to run to! Seriously, anything, her new stuff or old stuff. I especially like "i'm a slave for you", OMG I can really run for great distances to that song.

When I have guests over to my backyard and our ipod is out for background music, I always get made fun of that Britney is on that darn thing.

I also like Kate Perry, Pussycat Dolls, Fergie and other Younger music. Van Halen and Aerosmith from my day, just don't help me get going on the cardio machines, but I do like listening to them in the car!!

Oh geez betsey they dont groom their privates??? ok thats gross

Yes, for some reason or another MOST of the Nudies at my gym are the Cavewoman types who have never heard of a Brazilian Wax and so you have this situation where you are not only seeing nakedness of flesh, but, well, you know... you see it all.

I love it when these people, the BushWomen as I call them, like to strike up a conversation. It's always doubly amusing if say they are your children's teachers, or neighbors, etc. I really don't care to talk about my child's report card with you Ms. BushWoman. Then I think, maybe I'll get this lady a nice present like the Ultra Gillette Womans Razor set for her Christmas present this year.

I've also seen the BushWomen use the hairdryer to.... well.....  dry their hair in all areas. Great, now we have bush hair flying in the makeup/hairdryer room.

Don't think about it and don't do it..... FOOD. LOL. I try not to eat after 6pm as it just sits there in my gut. Now of course, I do, now and again have foods after 6, but try to keep it very light. A yogurt, handful of berries, or something like that. It's not the time to be having a 350 calorie snack!

I accidentally walked into the gym partially naked out of the locker room 3 days ago, it wasn't until I had already performed 3 sets apiece of leg abduction/adduction machine, stiff-legged deadlifts, and hyperextensions that I realized I wasn't wearing any pants or drawers.....

LOL! I know you're joking, but if it were true, I'd actually not have much of a problem with it, as it would be funny. It's apples and oranges. The large weight room has adequate room for one to simply move away from any person that smells, isn't appropriatley dressed, or otherwise. In the close quarters of the locker room there's no escaping women who don't groom their privates and choose to be bouncing around the space.

Why is it that I always TRY and select a locker that seems to be quiet and nobody is using surrounding lockers, but the minute I'm done with my workout, there seems to be several people who have selected a locker around mine? I mean, come on, if you see 100's of available lockers and then ONE IN USE, wouldn't the "normal person" select a locker that's not next to the only one, that has the lock engaged?

It reminds me of the parking lot at a shopping center. You know you have a new car and choose to park very far away to avoid door dings and all the idiots who've parked their cars over the line, then when you return to your car where it was all by it's lonesome, there's one jerk who has decided to park right next to you and not give you any room to open your door, even though there are hundreds of open car spaces.

Weight Loss Cheat day? Aug 21 2008

Yes, I have cheat days.  I do plan them out.  For instance if I am invited to a great party, wedding reception, or just cocktails with friends, I up my workout the day before, say to about 2 1/2 hours of both cardio and weights.  Then I feel no guilt.  Even with cheat days I keep it not going overboard.  Maybe just one slice of pepperoni vs. 3 slices, and have a large salad with my slice!   I don't advise people to have a cheat day where they are just stuffing their faces as it's not a good mind set, and I think you'd actually feel sick to your stomach if you're eating very healthy during your week.

Tomorrow I'm having a cheat night, and have arranged to go for seafood to be healthy and off-set the 3-4 beers that I will probably have on a Friday night!  So yes, cheat away, but don't say go to McDonalds and have a super sized burger meal.... do it smartly and do it low fat.

I have not noticed that my cheat day whatsoever affects my weigh ins, as I am doing extra workouts during those times.  I've only been at it (my diet and workout plan) about 5 weeks, and have had 3 cheat nights!  So as you can see it's not an over the top thing.

FYI, type in "locker room etiquette" in a Google search and the #1 link is from a Best Of Craig's List on this topic.

It's hysterical but at the same time disturbing as people act like that. I tried to link it in this post, but it gave me an error message, so you'll just have to do the search! I think it's from Portland, Oregon from last year.

I've also been to the Y but not for myself.  I've been there for my daughter's swim classes...to help her change and whatnot.  I have only seen the lounge around naked type once.  Maybe the Y doesn't have it as much because there are more kids around??  That's my thought on it.

On a similar note...the Y and nakedness...because it seems that moms are the ones that take the kids to these classes more often than not...what did bother me was when moms bring in their sons into the women's locker area, have him in his buff and not seek some sort of privacy.  Yup, that was a conversation I did not want to have with my daughter in a women's locker room.  Not only because of his nakedness and body parts but explaining that no, it really isn't OK [for her] to bare all in front of the opposite sex.

YES, I totally agree.  That's another No-no for Proper Locker Room Etiquette.  No boys over the age of 3 should be in there.  Most if not ALL gyms have Family Locker Room spaces and that's where Moms and Sons should be.  Also, in my gym's locker there is an area for Moms and young daughter's (and sons under 3) to change in.  It's actually quite large and roomy, and there are nice chairs.  But again, each day I see 3-5 Moms with kids in the ADULTS ONLY area.  It's not my place to educate them on where they actually should be changing, and time and time again I see the Staff walk by these groups and say nothing.  It's very upsetting.  I have paid $10 an hour to have my children watched by a babysitter so I can have a few moments to myself at my gym, or pay for the kids club to watch my kids, and I think it's disrespectful for these Moms to think that everyone loves having kids around in the gym.  Go where you are supposed to go, so I don't have to hear kids wining.  Ugh.

I find the variety of opinions on this topic interesting. I tend to take the view of the OP; I don't want to see naked women for extensive periods of time either. I also am not a prude, shower and change in the locker room without really worrying who may be looking, etc. However, I think what the OP is objecting to is the lack of respect for others more than the overt display of bare flesh. It's not the nudity per se, it's the flagrant disrespect for the shared space that's irritating. The make-up area is not the place to "pluck your pubic hair" for God's sake. Growing up in your house, did you go into the main hallway of your house to do something like this, or did you do it behind closed doors? Honestly

Thanks and yes, you totally see what I'm talking about. Like you said, if you grew up in a household that didn't even have males in it, I doubt "Mom" was putting on Body Lotion in nude, in the kitchen. I doubt "lil sis" was waxing her privates while talking on the living room phone. I doubt "big sis" was shaving her legs in the kitchen sink while Grandma came to visit for coffee.

I too, don't really care about the nudity when it's necessary as in the example of going into the showers and steam room. It's just the ladies who are letting it all hang out to air dry or just show you their stuff!

Also, I find it interesting that the women with the more in shape bodies, and have nothing to hide, are usually the ones who are more modest.

Finally, you know I have no problem with topless people at the beach when traveling. It's puzzling to me that I find that perfectly fine, but the locker room irritates me. Maybe because the topless girls at the beach aren't invading my space and I have a choice to move my chair, but in the locker room it's such a confined space and women are usually elbow to elbow.

At the gym today and here's what I saw on this visit to the ladies locker room:Ms. Nude Lady (about 55-60) was there as usual. She was going on and on with her other naked friend about where to go out for dinner with their husbands this weekend. Ms. Nude Lady #2 (about 40 yrs old) at the main entrance to lockers area basically taking up space with her gym bag, 4 towels, bending down and exposing all her womanhood, and seriously creating a backup of 4-5 women who were just trying to get into the lockerroom, and when I tried to go around her maze of bags, towels and other stuff to the BACK of the room, I nearly tripped over on another nudie. Why do the nudies take up the lockers that are nearest to the front entrance, while we others go to the very far corners? Again, it's like they want to be seen in all their nakedness. I never see these ladies in the quiet back section of the locker room where there are sofas, chairs and well it's just a nicer spot. No, these girls are at the main hallway entrance so everyone must go by them and see them! Seriously. They are practically visible when the door is open to the gym that's how Out There they are.....

Thought I was going to get slammed for my locker room vent, but I'm glad I'm not one of the minority! LOL

Weight Loss Cycle vs. Treadmill question about calories burned, and exhaustion level felt............. Aug 20 2008

Hi Erika, thanks.....

I am built like a ruler, always have been, and I don't wish to have curves at all.  Yes, I agree I'm skinny fat.  I'm slim, good arms, legs are relatively slim, no butt at all (and I like that fact, as I'm not desiring a big butt) but have noticed upper legs have been getting a bit wider in the last 2 years.  My thing is I'm naturally large chested-- no implants (i've even thought about reduction) and my hips have that muffin top thing sticking out of my pants.  I asked a trainer a while back on what exercises I could do to get rid of it, and he said that's all diet baby!

I know what you mean about the lady on the elliptical with the swinging skin.  That's not me at all.  Though my legs are getting to the point where I couldn't fit into jeans without it being tight, I know they're not huge and I know that my appearance is skinny and good tone.  I just don't know if I should go with more toning (weights) at this point or continue with burning all those fat cells on the legs first, then tone in another month.  Right now, my weight room exercises for legs are low weights with about 4 sets.

Overall I'm pleased with results and want to keep going, but concerned about plateauing and thought cycling would help to mix it up.  For my body type I don't think 115-120 is too low a weight, as that's how I always was as a teen and up to about babytime at 30.  Then in my 30s my boobs didn't go away as the myth of giving up breast feeding says it should.  In my 20's I don't remember being that top heavy!  Weight in my 30's was about 125, and then now at 40 it was 130 back one month ago.  I'm one of those girls who looks skinny to their friends, as I wear clothing to compliment or hide my problem areas.  If I showed my bottom in those tight jeans and exposed my muffin top I don't think my friends would say "oh you're so skinny".

Anyway, thanks for posting.

Why do women think it's perfectly ok to be hanging out all nude because its a locker room (it's fine for them, but personally I don't think 99 percent of the ladies want to see them! if you don't want to see it, don't look)

In response to your post regarding my post:

Believe me I try, but you're talking about a hairdrying/makeup space with counter-tops and mirrors every which way, that when I LOOK at my reflection in the mirror to do my makeup I am overwhelmed by naked bodies all around in the mirrors.... I don't look, I usually have my head down and go to my locker, but that means bumping into a naked person! Anyway, yes, it's a locker room, and as I said I'm not modest (I don't put my bra on while my towel is still on!!), but I find that I'm in the realm of being normal, having etiquette, etc.

It's like these woman can't wait to get nude and walk around. I can even say there's a few of them that don't even workout, but just go in for a steam and massage, then walk around nude for an hour.

I have no problem when they're naked say getting out of a shower and getting dressed or even in the steam room. It's the Makeup Area that really gets me outraged. It's the only place to do your hair and makeup, so I don't have a choice (where am I supposed to go, the toilet stall with a compact mirror?). The makeup area is where these ladies will place one foot/leg high on the counter-top exposing their privates, while applying lotion, plucking a pubic hair, etc. While I have to stand 10 inches away at the next counter-top area blowdrying my hair. Our gym is set up with about 12 stations in this makeup area, 6 on each side with the plugs and curling irons, so if there are 11 people taking them up, you have no choice but to go to the one remaining station. It's not like I can find a NON naked person and say can I borrow your space so I don't have to stand next to Matilda who's got the Jergens out all over her hips.

I just wish the nudies would understand that they are not the only ones in the room & sometimes what they're doing affects others and they should try to be more considerate. Just like anything else in the world....an analogy would be if you are out to dinner at Chili's for family night with a 6 year old and 3 year old and were seated next to a bunch of people celebrating something and they were cussing and hollering, I'd think if they saw a family being sat next to them, they'd clean up the language a bit to be considerate (obviously some wouldn't, but it's just an example).

I don't think I'm alone in this pet peeve of mine, and am curious why gyms don't consider building more private spaces for their guests in the locker rooms. Many golf clubs and swim clubs have private stalls where you literally have a toilet, shower, sink all in one small room and they'll have about 15 of them. You grab your bag/clothing from your locker and simply go inside and do your thing. It cuts down on the people lingering for hours in the locker room.

I know some will say that they enjoy their locker room time to see their friends (albeit nude friends!), but it's just not the place. You overhear gossip from many people, or people trying to put on airs and talk about this fabulous vacation they're doing or their kid got into Harvard, etc. Again, I can't really escape it, unless I go to the toilet area to change. I have no problem with conversations that are gym specific ("did you enjoy the yoga class this morning?"), but let's be honest, that most of these private workout centers are where the ladies tend to treat it like a henhouse with the gossip.

Maybe it's my area, as I've been to clubs with my friends and it's the same there too. But I think anywhere from Orange County California to Chicago, IL that there are many locker rooms with similar aggravated gym clients like myself.

Thanks for letting me vent about it.... Packing my gym bag for my morning's workout, hopefully it won't be a nudie day, as it's not too warm out.

I saw an informercial the other day and had to laugh as it started off by asking "do you want to look slimmer and feel good" etc.  So of course I thought it was going to be for an exercise product like the yoga balls, thighmaster, etc.  Well another minute into the show, it was for shapewear like spanx stuff.

Now, I love those products and use them for some of my outfits that need help, but the whole idea of the  infomercial was to say the heck with exercising and just buy this product and you'll look slimmer, even though you aren't!

Just thought the easy way out was hysterical, as you're still not healthy, you're just hiding the flab.... anyway, I love my spanx, but still continue to workout and want to lose the pounds the hard way!

I also did the Subway footlong turkey sub ($5) today and ate 1/2 for lunch and will eat 1/2 for lunch tomorrow.  It seems pretty low cal (no cheese or mayo, just lots of veggies and o/v).  But what's the deal with the bread on a subway sub?  It's wheat, but it's not the heavy duty whole wheat variety.  Am I cheating when I eat there? as the bread has the consistancy of white bread.

Has anyone done the Jared diet at Subway?  I felt like it was a better choice than Wendy's when out and about for a quick lunch, but wanting to know if I'm just fooling myself with eating at that restaurant.

THanks for all the wonderful advise.  I'm going to keep my eye out for sales on some frozen items for smoothies.  I'm going to try and yes, I'm going to hit the Asian markets, as the last time I was there, I too, noticed that the produce prices were 1/2 the cost than Albertsons.

I did some researching too.  I googl'ed "can't afford to eat healthy" or something like that, and was surprised how much came up.  There was a study done a few years back at the Univ. of Washington on this topic.  While I do understand that its expensive to pick blueberries and thus the cost to the consumers, some of these articles showed how grocery stores MARK UP these items even more and then DISCOUNT the hamburger helper stuff even less.  It's almost like they're helping with America's weight issues.  Same can be said for the fast food places.  Why is a McDonald's hamburger only 99 cents, while something more healthy such as a fast food item at Chipotle (beans, chicken, veggie buritto) like $6.00.

It's almost like grocery stores and restaurants are aware that the more affluent customers will pay buko bucks for fresh Apricots and they are aware too that the poorer individuals will buy the Ramen in bulk for $0.22.  They can give the Ramen away essentially, as the Rich folks make up the difference by paying for the high cost produce items.  Wouldn't it be better to have grocery items relatively all cost somewhere in the middle, so people would make better choices.  It would even out too, as you could charge $2.00 for a bag of Ramen and $2.00 for a bag of apples.

Maiden,

Thanks.  I think I'm going to keep it in the 1200 range, but just not feel guilty if once and a while I want a yogurt and a box of raisins which would bring me up to the 1400 range.  As it's hard to really know how many calories every portion size is (I don't measure), say I just throw a "bunch" of blueberries into my cereal, that's approximately a cup with a 1/2 cup of milk (it could be 230 in calories, or it could be 250 in calories!), I'm not too worried about going over 1200 a day, I feel like if I hover in the 1200-1500 range for the most part, the pounds will continue to come off.

I'm only a week into it, but it's a different diet, as I'm not looking to shed mass amounts of weight, but just to lose those 10 pounds like most people, so I know I shouldn't be too obsessed, but I want to maintain that magical number once I get there, so I'm trying to find what calorie intake is best for my body type.

As for metabolism, I have always had a high one (goes back to being one of those people who could inhale a whole pizza in my 30's and never see the pounds show!), but I know with age that decreases, but thinking that if it was high then, it's probably normal/average now.

Thanks again, and I'm glad i discovered this board today!
