Alright so I had a pretty good week minus two days where I went to the fair, and then stayed at my moms but I still manage to keep active, and eat less the rest of the week so this is my loss: Last Week: 204lb This Week: 199lb ! Yeah under 200 was my first goal. I am so inspired reading about everyones hard work. Thank you all so much for putting together this form together and I hope you all have a good week. |

Last Week: 210 This Week: 204 (!!!!) I am soooo excited. This is my first week so I am sure a lot of it is water or whatever, but still YEAH!. I worked very hard this week. Burned average 1350/day, and ate on average less than 1400. It was a difficult first week but I am starting to actual feel better, and that actually is more rewarding than the number on the scale for me cause I was feeling pretty low before. Thank you guys again for making a forum. Congratulations on all your hard work, and loss or maintenance this week. Reading about so many ppl working hard to get themselves where they want to be is really inspirational. Have a great next week everyone! Thanks again Lili. P.S. I read that pbear123 is getting an eliptical and I was just wondering is it easier harder to work than a treadmill? I have not been on one cause they look scary to me (and I worry I will fall off |

So today was my first official day I'm studying Nursing and from what I was told in nutrition the amount of weight you lose per week is dependent on how much you weigh, so for example 1lb a week would be good for a smaller person but someone who is a lot heavier could manage to lose more, and still be healthy. (I am just taking this from memory in class I may be wrong). I hope to lose a couple lbs a week for the first little while. I have trouble staying motivated if I don't see results. I have another question. I work shift work and I have trouble sleeping so I tend to only sleep 5-6 hrs a night (if I am good). How important is sleep in comparison to weight loss (as in does in make a difference in caloric burn). I know I should sleep more but I have to break up my works out for twice a day already just to fit them in. Love having a forum. Thank you for making it.

Hi! Could I please still join. I just started today. I am 22 , 5'4" and 210lb. I work as a Special Care Aid, but I have not been active, other than at work. All the ppl I know are lovely but Skinnie Minnies still trying to lose weight so I don't have much of the type of support I would like. I am on a tight budget so I am working out on my own . I can weigh in on Wednesday if that the day you guys have picked (is it every week?) If I can join plz let me know.
Thank you Lili |
