Brandy, I waited till 8 weeks to attempt dieting. I've found too I can't just say I need say 1800 calories or something it will vary greatly depending on my son's eating schedule for the day if he is constantly nursing I need more to eat that day if he doesn't nurse much obviously I need less. I got my calorie estimates from this site http://babyfit.sparkpeople.com/post-pregnancy -nutritional-transition.asp |

Hey everyone I'm new here and have been skimming over your past threads. My name is Lisa and I'm a mom to two boys one just turned 2 years old and the other is almost 9 months. Breastfeeding didn't work out with my first but this time around it's been going great and I really enjoy it! I'm 5'5" and currently approx. 220 lbs Goal weight right now is 170lbs and I'll adjust it from there. I've been married to my hubby now for 3 years. I'm aiming for approx. 2200 calories right now. I was told by babyfit.com that I should consume between 2100 and 2400 calories right now. I've been trying weight watchers but don't have time for meetings and even online has proven to be tough with 2 kids. My internet connection at home is currently broken so not sure when I can check back. ~ Lisa |
