Okay, if I don't want to spend any more than 30 to 35 minutes weight lifting 3 times a week, should I focus on specfic body parts during each of those sessions?

What exactly is circuit training?  I think I have done that before.  Is that where you do not take rest in between sets?

I am female, and I really need to start weight lifting, I am just scared.

Thank you so much!  That helps a lot.  The hardest part for me is that sometimes I do not realize I have been overeating until I am a few pounds heavier, then I feel stupid for being in the situation.  I am hoping that trying to focus on a healthy diet while I count my calories will help as well.

I know other people hurt and have hard times...sometimes, it just feels like I am the only one.

Go to a really good running shoe store, and I mean really good.  Go somewhere where the people who work there run.  For example, Luke's Locker in Dallas, TX, on Oak Lawn Dr. is a place very Everybody runs.  If you have access to somewhere like this, go there!  If not, call Luke's.  Duncan is the Manager, and he is awesome.  Tell him about your problems, and he can give you advice.

See a good Orthopedic Doctor.

New Balance sucks!  Asics and Adidas are good support shoes.  Everything depends on your biomechanics, too. Nike's run really narrow, so you may be in the wrong size.

DO NOT BY SHOES FROM A GENERAL, GENERIC STORE WHERE THE SALES PEOPLE DON'T KNOW JACK CRAP!

The older I get, the more running hurts.  The key is also to space out your workouts, and stretch like a MF.  Try yoga to get more flexible, as well.

Dear Suzy Roo,

What I would suggest is to look at what is recommended by professionals for the healthy food your body needs each day.  Also, you want to look at your acceptable BMI.  If it is too low, then you are in danger.  Also, if you are excessivly excercising, than you need to eat more than 2500 calories a day. 

I have also struggled.  What I would suggest is that you let science tell you what your goals should be, and then shoot for a BMI of between 20-25.  Do not let your emotions take you below a BMI of 20.  Maybe this can help you get out of it being subjective for you.

I am sure you are beautiful, no matter what people say.  I struggle with my weight going the opposite direction.  What I have written above is about all that keeps me sane.

For example, it is not a mystery to me that my weight increases when I eat extra calories that I could not possibly burn off.  It is also not a mystery that your weight is dangerously low if you eat much less than you burn, or you are eating just enough to stay at 84 lbs.  I am scared sometimes to eat less.  Maybe, you are scared to eat more.

I hope you find peace.  A lot of people out there feel like they are in the trenches with their weight everyday.
