hey i wasnt able to weigh on on friday because of halloween. Unfortunantly I ate tons of candy and weighed in at 144.4 the next day which i think is more than my previous weigh in. However i vowed not to cheat this week!

Hey everyone sorry I wasnt able to post like...this entire week. 5 of my teamates and I had the most horrible week of our lives. We got cut from our team not because of skill, but because we didnt suck up to our coach enough. All of our parents went up to school and spoke with the director of sports and our Principal, however all their efforts proved futile. Our ex-coach is a PSYCHO.

Anyway my weigh in is at 143.8. Personally I think this is like a miracle. My 5 teamates and I for this entire week, came over my hosue and ordered in. We bonded through our struggles and ate loads of pizza, vietnamese, spagetti, and chinese. Seriosuly, I dont know how i lost weight this week, I didnt watch my calorie intake at all.

I've had the most awful week in school, along with 5 of my teamates. We ordered in 3 out of the 5 days of school at my house. We ate on my bed, sat, cried, and ate some more. Sorry I wasnt able to post on wednsday, everything slipped my mind.

Today's weight is 146 (-1.6). Thanks lulu for reminding me about the sodium, I didn't feel as bad yesterday because I knew it was only water retention. Anyway, on days that I dont have raquetball/handball practice I find it really hard to add exercise too!That is, unless I have a moment of spontenuity and decide to do a mini workout to make me feel better about hibernating all day.

 

Today I'm going shopping for a party outfit for my friends birthday, and I'm a little aprehensive. It's been so long since I bought new clothes (I vowed to have a substantial weight loss before buying anything new) and I'm afraid I'll get too excited, get there, and have nothing fit me. Oh well, I'm going to hope for the best!

I feel like I've wronged after eating something without knowing how many calories is in it. Like today, me and some friends went out to eat in chinatown to celebrate our friends departure to navy bootcamp. It's not like i overate or anything; I had about 6 slices of fried tofu with shrimp inside and a bowl of rice. I know that it's not even close to being considered a binge but it honestly bothers me that I can't even estimate how many calories that was. Can any of you take a swing at it?

Hey, sorry I couldn't post yesterday I came home dead tired from school and just fell asleep. I weighed 147.6 yesterday, which was slightly higher than the day before that because I over did it on the chocolate. Anyway, today I'm going to a ymca in manhattan for my usual saturday handball/racquetball workout. I get in for free from 3pm-9pm because of their teen program so it's really convenient. I tend to over do it sometimes though, like last saturday it was really scary. I played non-stop for like four hours and I was really dizzy afterwards. I stumbled on the steps at the train station.

This time I'm bringing FOOD to eat there. I'm preparing a 100 calorie snack thats really a lifesaver. Its a stirfry with 100g of vegetarian noodles, 50 g of smoked ham, 15mL of soy sauce and 30g of cauliflower. Ideally I wouldnt be adding the soy sauce, but without it the noodles really dont have any flavor. 

 

lulu, I woke up today with the same craving! Fortunantly I took an apple instead.

Hey I'd like to join in too! My name's Victoria and my starting weight on this website is 166. My heaviest weight was 183, and now im down to 148. My greatest hardship is sometimes the motivation, I know how to lose weight and that it works but sometimes i get discouraged. I hope to be 128 pounds by christmas and STAY there instead of ballooning up. I'll try my best to become more active (as I'm known to hibernate during the winter) and tone my body.

 

My calorie target is around 1200-1450

Sorry I didnt post yesterday, I didnt have access to a computer so heres the weigh in!

Last week: 153.4

This week: 152

 

I went to my homeopathic doctor a few days ago and it turns out they just got this new machine which tells you how fast your matabolism is. So...you have to breath into it using your mouth for 10 minutes and then out pops the result. It said that my RMR is 2045 cals by itself. So... I guess thats good? It compared me to other people my height, age, and weight and it said that was fast. Anyway, You guys should all check that out if your interested. Looking forward to next week =]

I dont kno whow you guys do it, I cant stay home without weighing myself at least once every couple hours. Even if I know i might have gained a bit, i feel worse if i dont weigh myself. If i try not to it just stays on my mind until I finally do it. I wish I can keep myself away from it but ive become a bit obsessed. =[

bails_babe115 Oh I had one of those weeks. I got sick of having to count everything (which took about 1 hour) before I ate it. Try counting only certain meals at first like breakfast or lunch, that way you know how many cals left over you have for the rest of the day and you'll only have to estimate the last few meals. It helped me get back on track and break even. Dont worry!

taykaybelle, are the streets damaged? I remember going out to texas and we actually got to see the formation of a tornado in a field (REALLY stupid idea), i was scared ****.

 

Hey I was wondering how many calories a day you guys eat? I usually try 1300-1500 a day and more when I'm really active.

bluebird272, off course you can do it! At first I felt the same way, I mean I'd be all hyped up in the mornings but then gradually i'd allow myself to eat stuff I shouldnt. It took a few months to get used to keeping the excitement of losing weight throughout the whole day instead of the first 3 hours after waking up.

Just 2 days ago I HAD to eat out with my friends because one of them was about to go off to navy bootcamp.The place was called Dallas BBQ. Gosh, even the name doesnt sound too healthy does it? Needless to say afterwards, I felt horrible. But the next day...it was BAM! A whole new day to try again.

Don't give up. The first few times its really hard to say no. The next few times you dont even have to think twice.

wow popgirl512 your so lucky.  I start school on Sept. 2 and I have to go in on August 29th to get my program. I was also kinda wishing I had more time to lose weight before school but i guess not...

A few days back I was shopping for groceries and it took so long because I was constantly comparing the nutritonal info. At one point I thought to myself "god, I wish they'd just put everything in calorie escalating order so I wont even bother looking at half the store". Anyone else had a similar experience?

I ran out of my vege noodles that were 20 cal per 100 grams =[ the only place I can get them is at the chinese supermarket near my house but...i still feel self conscious going into a food store if its not necessary. 

 Last week: 161.6

This Week: 159.0

 

I dont remember the last time I was in the 150's. Wow same amount of weight lost in both weeks. 2.4

Yay!! I'm so happy! Probably half of its water weight but I'm so proud i said no to that brownie last night, which was so hard since my dad kept pushing for me to eat it.

I think I'm going to have a problem once school starts. I'm going to be on a team so that means my lunch gets taken out of my schedule. I dont usually eat breakfast (i always wake up late!). I dont think just eating dinner is good for me. Any suggestions?

Hey i'd like to join too. I'm 15 and as of friday morning im my current weight is 164 pounds. My starting weight was 175. My goal by christmas is to be 135 and then from there i'll decide on another weight goal. I'm ALMOST (dam!) 5'5.

 

I'm already into sports (im on a handball team in school) and I'd like to be able to become a better player by being fitter. I dont think I can join a gym during the summer because I basically wake up at 1PM and play handball until 8PM.

I cant wait till' the weigh in. =]
