Legs and Back this morning - Tony still gets hit in the face with resistance bands. You would think he'd know to move out of the way. I log into WOWY every morning, because my brother-in-law will ask if I don't. Plus, several other members invite me to log in and work out with them. I feel like I'll let them down if I don't work out. Also, today was a $1,000. I've never won anything (I'm not that lucky), but my BIL has won money and an iPod player. Just a little more incentive for me. I need all I can get! |

Good job Sharpshootinstar!!!! I wimped out on Yoga this morning. Only did about 20 minutes. I'm not sure what the deal was. Kids have been sick and I was really tired. I might have caught what they did. I'll try harder tomorrow!!! When I logged into WOWY on Saturday, Tony Horton was working out too. It was kinda' neat knowing that we were both doing P90X at the exact same time! |

I had Cardio this morning. Definitely easier than the first time I did it. I still had some energy left over, so I did Ab Ripper. That is still a killer! For the past month, I have been taking the weekends off, relaxing and not exercising. I got an email today that MillionDollarBody is going to try to beat the record for the number of people who log in to WOWY and exercise on Saturday. I think the record is around 550. I signed up to exercise, so I guess I'm not going to take this weekend off. Hopefully it will become a habit! |

The Recovery Drink is really good. A bit of advice though. When I first started drinking them, I couldn't get them mixed up enough and I hate lumps in my drinks. My friend told me to get a Magic Bullet to blend up the drink and it works awesome. There might be other little mixers out there that will work as well. I mix my protein drinks and meal replacement drinks too. Anyway, good luck!!! |

Got on the scale this morning and I lost 4.5 pounds!! It's a start; I still want to lose about 10 more. By the way, I stopped wearing a shirt when I workout in the morning. I can see my ab muscles! Stick with it ladies! I'm almost at workout #40 and I'm just now starting to lose some weight. |

Original Post by reeney18: Thank you so much for your post! As long as I lose inches, I guess I won't worry about what the scale says. Yoga this morning. Seriously, it's getting easier. My husband woke up early and watched me do part of it. He asked my why I was doing it - for balance or something? I was pouring sweat, my legs were shaking and I was breathing hard. I'm doing Yoga because it's a great workout! I guess he thought it looked easy; I mean, it's just standing on one leg, twisted, with one hand on the floor and the other up in the air. Child's play. |

I'm trying to get caught back up on reading everyone's posts. Yoga - I have the yoga mat, but my hands were sliding as well. The gloves and shoes are a great idea. My BIL - who's on his 3rd or 4th P90X series said that he looks forward to Yoga now. I still dread it, but one day... I use a chair for the pull-ups, after I've done as many as I can by myself. Pushups are getting easier. I did Shoulders, Arms and Back this morning - for the first time. It could have been a cardio workout! I was worn out. "I'm stirring up trouble". I love that line from Phil. Phil is giving Tony a run for his money. He is buff! As many of you have mentioned: I have not lost any weight either. My diet leaves a lot to be desired though. My first 30 days of the program, I wanted to concentrate on getting into the routine: waking up at 5:00am is tough. The second 30 days, I'm going to concentrate on diet. Did you guys see Sheryl Crow's interview at the Grammy's where she mentioned P90X? Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEUPf4JUoW4&am p;feature=related We're right there with the celebrities!!! |

I'm still plugging away! At the rate I'm going, this 90 day program is going to take me 120 days to complete. I finished workout #35 today. 55 more to go. (sob, sob). I did Cardio this morning; burning some of my "gristle and goo". I laugh every time Tony gets hit in the face with the resistance bands. I can't help it - the look on Dreya's face is hilarious. Speaking of Dreya (who flies through the air with the greatest of ease), I'm getting better at her Rolls. I can almost finish the whole minute. Tip of the Day: DO NOT FORGET TO BREATH! (When Dreya says this, it looks like she's going to breath fire!) I like "Pam the Blam" and Sophia the best. Why doesn't the girl in Kenpo ever smile? Even when Tony is standing right in front of her; she looks like she wants to knock his head off. I think I'm getting too cynical about the whole cast! They're almost like family now! |

Does anyone log their workouts into WOWY (www.milliondollarbody.com)? My BIL also works out at 5am and it's a little more motivation to see him logged in. On the morning I want to sleep in, I know I can't because he'll know! I did Kenpo this morning. Fun, Fun, Fun. I love punching and kicking. I really worked hard this morning, but I'm not sore like I was the first week of P90X. I'm getting more flexible too! 17 Down; 73 To Go (That looks like a lot). |

I'm doing 12-15 because of the "bulky" myth. So you're not getting big and muscular? |

I had to Google NROLFW: New Rules of Lifting for Women. I've never heard of it. What is the concept? I also have to use logs. For basically the same reasons as yogagirl. I aim for 12-15, up to 20, reps instead of 8-10. |

I go to www.milliondollarbody.com and log my workouts with WOWY (Work Out With You). Everytime you log in, you get entered into a drawing for $300, $1000 or some other prizes. It's free to join up. From this website, I also printed off the P90X worksheets so I can track my reps and weight used (like Tony wants us to Since I'm a little OCD, I also have a little pocket calendar that I write down which workout I did, how many workouts I've done and how many are left in my 90 days. |

You convinced me Kossmana. I'm going to get some 8s after work. Thanks! After my 90 days, I guess I can give my 5s to someone who is not muscle-bound like me! |

I have a question. Are you girls using resistance bands or weights for "Shoulders & Arms". If weights, what sizes do you have? I only have 5lbs and 10 lbs. It feels like I need 8s for some of the exercises and maybe even 12s for other exercises - I noticed Dreya was using 12s this morning. I really don't want to spend money on every size of weights out there. Should I just increase my reps if I need more weight? |

I'm getting better at the Yoga positions!!! My downward and upward dogs, warriors poses and plank positions were more comfortable this morning. I did Cardio and I really liked the workout - there's a lot of variety. My favorites are Wacky Jacks, Tires and all the punching and kicking. It's not too intense, but my heartrate stays up. I felt like I could go longer. I noticed that in the "Doubles" plan, Cardio is the workout that is added in. I have problems with core positions - banana, bow-to-boat, dreya roll, etc. I'm hoping these exercises will get easier soon! qmwillcand - I also missed a few ab workouts and I made them up on the Rest or Stretch days. One day, I even did the Ab workout twice. khlynn - I'm sorry to hear about your shoulder problems. Stay motivated - I'm sure you'll find alternative exercises! 12 workouts done, 78 to go! (I thought I would be done the end of March, but I had to skip a few workouts) |

Hi kossmana. I bought my door strap for my bands from the Million Dollar Body website. It also comes with the Sports Cardio Belt, but I haven't used it yet. Here's my website if you're interested. Click on "Shop for Products" and then "Accessories" on the right hand side. The Upgrade kit is the 11th item. http://www.milliondollarbody.com/bbst/homepag e.php?homepage_Username=amc0107 I think my friend bought his at Dicks Sporting Goods. |

I've heard that milk - especially chocolate milk is good to drink after exercising. My BIL did P90X and he swore by the Recovery Drink, so I bought it. It's really, really good - I look forward to drinking it, but I'm not seeing any difference. My under-arms hurt this morning when I put on my deoderant. I think I'm just extremely out of shape. If that's the case, I hate to think how I would feel with out the drink! Today was my Rest/Stretch day. I skipped an Ab Ripper this week, so I made it up today along with the Stretch. The Stretching routine uses a lot of YOGA moves and I think I'm getting better. I didn't fall this morning Good luck with the Plyo! Are you doing the Classic routine? I was doing Classic, but I think I might switch to the Lean. |

I started P90X on January 1st, but then my whole family came down with the stomach flu. Besides that little side-track, I'm now on day 9. My calves have never hurt like this before (Legs and Back routine). I thought I was going to tear something last night. Is anything taking the Recovery Drink? I have the chin-up bar, but I can only do a couple at a time and then I switch to the bands. I bought the door attachment for the bands, so it stimulates what the people on the DVDs are doing. The chin-up bar is really easy to assemble and put up. I say it's easy - my husband did it for me without too much cussing. I've never done YOGA before. I thought it was going to be a relaxing way to exercise. Boy was I wrong! I'm about the least flexible person I know and totally uncoordinated. I'm making progress if I don't fall during a position. I'm pretty sure you can turn off Tony's running commentary. When the DVD first comes up, it says "Normal", "Music Off" and some other options. I know I accidently turned off his commentary and only heard his cues. Since I'm just starting, I need to listen to everything, but I'm pretty sure I'll get tired of his voice. Love ya Tony! My pause button on my DVD remote is staring to wear out; I take more breaks than ol' Tony and the gang. Meghan - I need to start running as well. Did you run before or are you just starting? |

I started with Turbo Jam and then went to Hip Hop Abs. I really liked both of them. There's a lot of variety and I didn't get bored. I just started P90X at the beginning of the year - my New Year's resolution. I'm an Independent Beachbody Coach so I get a discount on Beachbody exercise videos. Even with the discount, P90X is pricey. A tremendous investment if you get a chance to buy it. It's a cliche, but I'm feeling muscles that I have never felt before. Good luck with your goals! |

| Lawrence Block!!! I finally got ahold of my BIL - it's good to have an author in the family. Anyway, it's a series of books about Evan Tanner. I think the one I read was "The Thief Who Couldn't Sleep". Sigh - now I can go about my day. Amazon. I read it years ago; I hope it is as good as I remember. Thanks for your help! |

| Yeah, that was also part of the book. He wasn't going to live very long. He would go into a meditation state that would relax his body, but he never fell asleep. Looking for this book, I did find a cool website www.allreaders.com. It didn't help me though. |

| This is going to drive me crazy. I don't even know what to Google to find it. I do remember that the guy joined groups and organizations all over the world which is why it was so easy for him to blend in. Members of these groups hid him and helped him travel from country to country. And the thing is, I think he's innocent of whatever the government is trying to find him for. It's almost a game for him. | |||

| Hey winniesherwood; I'm pregnant too! How far along are you? I'm finally at 20 weeks; having my Ultrasound this week, so I'll find out the baby's sex. Yeah!
I know what you mean about eating when you're bored. I've been snacking on fat-free cheese slices, apples, low-fat yogurt, crackers and toast. At least those are the foods that I can bring to work. Unfortunately, ice cream has been calling my name, along with soda and other sweets. My BIL is staying with us and he could live off of Little Debbie snacks. We normally don't have Honey Buns and Oatmeal Cream Pies in the house; now we have boxes and boxes of them. Help! |
