Lol, trust me, it's not too bad. Although after trying two full marathons, I know for a fact that a half is plenty for me thank you very much ;) You guys definitely could do it though since you both already run. The Disney one is so much fun! As I run through the parks, I start making a list of what rides I want to come back and go on later. And then in Epcot near the finish, I start deciding which country I'll have a post-race drink in later that night (usually a margarita in Mexico). It keeps me motivated, haha.

Clinder, that NYE 5k sounds like a cool idea!

Hey everyone, sorry it's been a while. How is everyone doing this week? Clinder and nikki, that idea sounds cool! I've never really used map my run before, but it seems like it would be a good idea. I've been using this site for a while:

I like it because you can log all kinds of activities on the same day since there is space for running, biking, and swimming. Not that there are many days that I need that option, lol, but it is nice to have a way to log swimming if I do that instead of running. And someday I would like to try a sprint triathlon, and they have some good info on there.

Oh, and clinder there are a few races in December where I live (Ohio), but in January and February it's really only one or two options. I'm training for a half-marathon in Disney World in January right now. I realized today only one month left - yikes!

I enjoy running, so I probably do that the most. I have a schedule that I follow, so I run between 3-8 miles 5 days a week. This year, I'm trying to do a race once a month or so too. If I don't have something I'm training for I tend to slack off a lot. I also try to lift weights with a few friends twice a week, but I'm not very consistent with that. This week I'm traveling too, so it has been kind of hard! I've been trying to spend some time in the hotel gyms :)

Good luck this week to anyone celebrating Thanksgiving! I know this 3rd challenge will be tough for me.

Hi green team! My name is Jen, and I am 28 years old. I have also been struggling with weight for most of my life. I lost weight and stayed around 140 for most of high school, but then hurt my back in college, stopped exercising, started eating more, and gained over 80 lbs. I managed to get back down to around 174 at one point, but really I've been fluctuating between 180-200 for the past 5 years.

I'm hoping I can stay with it this time. Once I get below 180, it is really hard for me to keep up the weight loss. I have a tough time with food, but I love running so I usually get in a good amount of exercise. Anyway, looking forward to doing the challenge with you guys. Good luck everyone!

So, I know I kind of disappeared at the end of October and I hope it's ok that I'm joining a little late in November. I've been stressed out with schoolwork but I realized I need to keep this up because I've gained back a few pounds. I think this will help me get on track again! I'm setting a pretty modest goal for myself since finals are coming up :)
