Happy belated birthday girls! Well I think a few of us have had a not so good start to the new weight loss challenge. But, not to worry put it behind ya and lets get back on it for Tuesday. I suspect that I have not lost much as have only just started to get back on track from a over celebratory wk last wk.

 Hi Kaleigh - don't beat yourself up about it, hey atleast you didn't go up, so that's good too. I try to have atleast 500 to 1000 deficit between total burn and intake - this should equate to about a pound to 2 pounds off per wk. slow and safe. Also, try weighing yourself after wees and other stuff and in the nude if you want to get a better weight gage. Wink

Hi all. This sounds great. Count me in, hope Im not too late. Im 5'6 want to loose 15lbs (7kgs) - 3 months sounds like the perfect amount of time. Im a Kiwi, from New Zealand and it is just in time for summer. Im sure Aussie annabomb would agree would feel great to loose a bit of beef for summer.

My stats: SW 146lbs (66kg)

aug12====144(65.3)

GW - 125

aug15====140lbs (63.5kg) - Morning all it is 8am in New zealand and I am down 4 pounds yay!.. hope thats not all water weight. But, I will weigh myself same time again next friday to see.

aug22====142lbs - BUGGER! Had a bit of a not so disciplined wk starting from last wkend. Was feelin the guilts but, Im over it now and will get back on track. The goal is still in sight. Undecided Hope to get down 2lbs by next weigh in.

aug29===139lbs - YESSSSS!! Under the 140 mark. Have been very strict this week and Im glad feels great to get on the scale and see it under what you expect after the last 2 wks.

sept 5===?? 3rd day of sunny Gold coast. Too scared to look at the scale, let alone jump on it.

sept 12===145 - arse!!Yell well I guess I got a little carried away while on holiday - 0 exercise + 0 diet + too much goodies = + weight. Oh well, got to start from the beginning again.

Hi. Prob check what kind of cleanser you are using too. Things that have soap in it will iritate more and twice a day is good. And the in betweens just use water. Your sweat isn't and face isn't dirty, so just water in between is fine. And try not to touch your face. If all else fails, go see your GP. They can suggest something that is suitable to your face and weather conditions as well, especially where you are it sounds hot and from all the sweating maybe hard not to touch face too. I used prescription cream for month, never have had pimples since and its been 2 years now.

Hey! I agree with Claire24246, good change hearing Kg's to pounds, Im always having to find out how to convert things. Im sure if you've had a snoop around this site you would've found lots of people using non-metric. Anyway, Im 23, 163cm (5'4ish) and 66kg and want to lose about 10kgs but would take anthing close to that and am only across the ditch from you. Im a kiwi. Laughing I guess we kind of have the same goals. You should try one of the group challenges, one way to get you motivated. But, talking, sharing ideas and making friends is very good as well in staying motivated. Hope it goes well for you. Can I add you as a friend? I have just started too.

Hi Im 23 and live in New Zealand. I quit smoking 2wks ago today and it feels great. Not really but the great part is the extra moolah you have left over from not smoking. Laughing Well really had no choice but to as couldn't get through a whole nights sleep with out my inhaler. Its hard especially when the rest of my family are heavy smokers, but you know one day at a time ay. Very sorry about your circumstances, I hope you will be able to pull through ok and jump start your weight loss goal. I too am looking for a friend for support and can give support too - also friendly as.

Hi all,

Count me in too. Would like to lose 13.5 lbs. Im 23 and 5'6.  I keep missing out on the challenges, but think this will be the kick up the bum to get me going.

CW: 145.5

GW: 130

Start Weight (9/2):144.4

Week 1 (9/9):Same as last wk (just been on holiday - doesn't help)

Week 2 (9/16): 141kg - Have done no exercise and minimal healthy eating. ?? not complaining.
