Hi, I am stuck at 208 . I have joined few groups, but with the work pressure i had last month, coudnt keep up with any of them. So I would defenitely want to join a smaller group with around the same goal. and i haev been looking for one. Let me know if I can join.

What else is happening? Earlier i used to keep my own food journal. Now for the past few days i have started using cc's jopurnal and WOW! I love the analysis and i try fiting in more fiber and more protein seeing the results. Hopefully it will help me get back into the routine. |

Todays Menu: Brekafast:Tea+egg beater veggie omlette and half a bagel with 1 tbsp lite cream cheese. snack:tea +a slice of cake(oops, it was my favourite, and i took a small slice) Lunch:Salad and 1/2 grillld chicken sandwich+3 hersheys bliss Dinner:not yet decided , but its going to be full of caloires i guess

Hi All, Its been hectic week. I havent logged into cc since last friday.I have lots of posts to catch up i guess. But a quick glace at the weight loss and i could see all of you are doing a very good job! I havent counted calories this week.But i ahve been keeping an eye on portion. I need real motivation. I have not been losing much.its a very slow process and is irritating me. My wieght on monday was 206.5. Yeah slwo but i am happy i did not gain. Today i have abirthday party to attend and tomorrow its my sons first birthday. so a small party at daycare tomorrow and a party at home on saturday and my cousins are coming over. So i need to cook rich , traditional foods! I hope i dont gain on next monday. Its been hectic at the work place, will continue to be so till nov3rd and planning for the parties is tiring. Sorry for poring it all out! But i feel better :-D

OH Thanks Taybird. My husband likes muffins carrot muffins and yesterday i asked him , would he like if i make some muffins and he thought fro some time and said, do u think u can make them like what u buy? that made me want to give it a try. I will get that low fat one and see how it comes! I have got a cookbook with all those lovely looking cakes. but wehn iread the recipie i feel its too much work |

Thanks redsee! I will make some cupcakes then :-) and yeah i better not leave anything at home. I love cooking and i have got this in my mind that i have to learn to make really awesome cakes.So i am always looking at recipes and i really want to make good ones. But when u make at home, if anything is left it goes into me. Thats the sad part. I wish i could get some people who can eat what i bake! |

Even i plan to go for shopping this weekend.Oct 3rd is my second son's 1st Birthday.and also i need to get some gifts for his teachers.Shoes for kids, and a coat for me.I hope i fit into xl size.I started this as a 1 x :-) Recently there was a sale at macys and since i was busy and coudnt go for shopping, I asked my husband to pick an xl size of a top i liked.I thought i will keep it with em and use it when i reach that size!Surprisingly I find taht it fits em well and its a ,little loose also!.people are noticing that i am losing weight and i am soo happy!I guess even though the scales are not moving much i am losing inches!
I need some help! As i mentioned its my sons first birthday and i taked to teh dyacare and i plan to take some cupcakes.I am planning on making them.I have never done anything like this.Did a trial last weekend adn it came out good. So what else do i need?Any ideas? I was thinking plain cupcakes?But do i need to decorate something?A small cake or something? How is it done usually?

snacks - had one chocolate(I was in a training and these were infront of me for so long :-) ) lunch= grilled chicken sandwich+ side salad
dinner -- mostly subway today.I am very tired!

redsee sorry to hear about ur job. May eb abetter one is in stock for u! hmm i had lunch with my colleagues at a thai restarurant and with the lunch my calories intake fro the dya is done. so i will have to eat something light for dinner. I missed so many posts. Karma, did u decide on how ur going to track the wieght? Is it on the first post?(i hope so :-) ) Ladies, forget abt what u ate till yesterday and get back on the wagpn, we have a wiegh in coming on monday! nicolep91, did u have any power outage? We had lost teh power during the wind and got back only on tueday. I hope things are back to normal ta ur place too!

Hey, hope u all had a good weekend. Yesterday we had some strong winds and we lost power.(Some remnants of Ike, here in ohio).so had dinner from outside.I want to thank you karmavb for starting this thread and to all of you for your support. I was stuck with the same weight of 210-209 for 1 month and this week i finally started to lose again.I am soooooooooooooooooooo happy :-) Here are my stats SW(09/08/08): 209 CW: 207.2 GW:145 Height:5.5 Weight lost for this challenge:1.8 Total Weight lost since (07/07/08)=14

We are all here to keep u motivated :-) I have been stuck at my weight fro one month(210) and i want to get out of 200's so desperately. I feel i was overestimating teh calorie burned and so consuming more.now trying to restrcit to 1600. Lets see. btwn what is ur daily calorie limit?
I also started at 221 and now stuck at 209 for more than a month!. hmm its very similar. I was eating in the same caloric range as u. i upped it, to2500 nothing great happened. so i am getting it down to 1600 or so. will keep u posted. |

I second u nicolep91. Posting here is defenitely motivating .Accoun ting for my menu and reading everyones is helping me to each much healthier. Here goes mine Breakfast:Egg white omlette with veggies and salsa and an engluish muffin, cappuchino with decaffinated coffee lunch: 1/2 tuna sald sandwich on 12 grain+salad(lettuce, kidney beans, channa , cucumbers, pineppale, 1 tbsp ranch+4-5 croutons) Snack - i made some smoothie yesterday and froze the rest in a container.so i have that with me(added banana, aple, raspberry, strawberry and mango)-yeah u got it right i was trying to finsih off the fruits left, so that i cud get more today wehn i go for my weekly shopping:-) ) and i have an apple with me.
Dinner - I might either grill some fish or make a fish biriyani. Monday is the wiegh in day yay!

I had a lunch meeting today and they served Pizza!!!! Thsi is the first time i took pizza after starting calorie counting. so far my menu has been
breakfast - whole wheat bagel+2 fat lite cream cheese lunch- 2 slice donatos pizza, and little salad snack- banana
anyone has any idea how many slices are there in a large donatos pizza. I googled but am not able to find it! |

if they have south indian on their menu, then u can go for idli and sambar and avoid the coconut chutney.And chappathi or phulka ( is the name i beleive for rotis without any oil) with channa masala, rajma(red kidney beans) are good options. Paneer is high in calories.Vegetable kurma has cocounut but still its not too bad.dal in most forms except the deep fried vada is healthy.

how does the omega3 and 6 opills taste? Two weeks back I read it on one site (i guess webmd) that omega3 helps in increasing metabolisma dn so its good to have more fish in your diet. Since then i try to include grilled fish in my diet.i i love the taste ,and wud like to increase the omega3 so considering takinga pill.
Would you mind sharing ur experience? My weight loss is pretty slow.Also by the defentions given on the site i fall in the light active category.But when i log the individual activities it goes up to 3000-3600. Anyone facing this disparity/and the amx i exercise a day is 25-45 minutes walk. |
