came across this topic and thought I'd bump it up..
My goal size is to be a 9! Im currently in a 12 which at one time i was in a 15! |

I'm 39 5'5 178lbs my starting weight was 209!! no one every believed when i told them i weighed that much..i hold my weight evenly (hourglass) i guess im lucky! I still have 30 more lbs to go! |

its not that i just wanted to stop exercising, I for a income tax place and i was working tons of hours and when home i didnt want to think of getting to the track at 6:30am. Now that its over i hope to get back into the swing of things. What Karozel said about the muscle loss could be true and does make alot of sense as to why im losing even though i stopped working out for a month..good thing is that im almost to my goal weight. I started off at 209 and I'm currently 175 my goal weight is about 160 so i have lost a total of 34lbs so far, I have 15 more lbs to reach my goal..! |

i try not to think of too much while im walking/jogging on treadmill cause i have alot of my favorite workout music that i download off itunes. On occasion i think of Jillian Michaels quote--Unless you faint, puke, or die keeping walking!!! that keeps me going haha! |

its taken me since Sept to lose the 20lbs i average about a pound a week. I made alot of changes from drinking soda, alcohol and am watching my portions, I don't skip meals either. I try to walk/jog 2 miles a day and am doing some strength training 3-4 times a week. By the way I dont count calories i did at the begining, but i found myself starting to obsess too much on it. |

so far i've lost 16lbs and its taken me since Sept to lose it....my sw was 209 and now my cw is 193 i have alot more to go....but i will get there slowly but surely! |

a friend of mine swears that apple cider vinegar helps with weight loss she has lost a total of 54lbs with having that daily with all her meals mixed in water and also jogging every morning and of course cutting back on her portions. I tried it...gross! but i have found if i mix it in some vegetable juice it isn't so bad i tried it a few times but im not a big fan of vinegar haha. |

im a big fan of bloody mary's (with vodka) of course..so most of the time when i go out i'll order myself a virgin bloody mary(spicy) to me it taste just the same oh and no salt added. |

I find that walking (light jogging) helps me tremendously in them areas, I started walking 2 -3 miles 5x's a week faithfully in September and I have already lost 2 inches in my hips 1 1/2 inches in my thighs and 2 inches from my waist. |

acid? wow..that didn't even cross my mind does make sense though cause i do drink lots of grapefruit juice and i believe that has alot of acid in it...well thanks so much for your response. |
