I am having the same trouble. Also I can't figure out how to log in my work out on my Tony Little Gazalle. Seems everything here is by 'time', and everything I have is by 'step' or 'mile'.

Anyone have any simple answers PLEASE let me know. Cry

I haven't been to this site since the begining of the year, but I was drawn to come here today. This was the first message that I read. Now I know that God has lead me here for a reason. There is little that I can do for you & your family. But I can, and will pray. James 5: 16 says: "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." There are many of us here that are praying for your son. I believe with all my heart that these prayers will be answered. You MUST believe this also. If you haven't done so already, set your family down and pray together.
1 King's 9:3 says: "And the LORD said unto him, I have heard thy prayer and thy supplication, that thou hast made before me: I have hallowed this house, which thou hast built, to put my name there for ever; and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually." God is with you! May He comfort you through this hard time. Rest in Him and let Him put His loving arms around you as you cry.

I am lead to leave you with this:

Psalms 30:5: "For his anger [endureth but] a moment; in his favour [is] life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy [cometh] in the morning.'

Believe it! Peace be with you and your.

Welcome to our team barucha!

I also use the Gazelle and do not have access to a gym. I am losing really slow, but I AM losing so I will not complain. I try to use the Gazelle first thing in the moring and last thing at night every day, but I take a break from it Saturdays and Sundays. Sometimes I don't get the chance to use it in the evenings, but I DO make sure I get the morning workout in. I don't go by minutes, but by miles. 1 started by trying to make 1 mile per day. (That almost killed me!) I now am up to 5 miles per day, and it is getting easier!

m3lody is absolutely right.
I am a horrible speller, but I thought that I was here to lose weight and not for grammar lessons. I am here to learn a new life style not to learn grammar.
Do we have the right to make people feel bad just because they don't know perfect grammar? Come off it! Some people here feel bad enough about themselves, they don't need this.  I, for one do NOT need this. We also have to remember that not all people here are of English speaking backgrounds and they are doing the best they can do.  Even if we ARE English, we are still doing the best we can do, I'm sure. So what do you want us to do? Leave the site because we don't know perfect grammer? I think that this is plain rude. Please remember also, that people here are from all walks of life. What's the big deal if some are not as educated as some others? When all is said and done, this is not what we are here for. Now really! Many people do not accept us because of our size, but I come here to be accepted for my weight and also for my lack of not knowing proper grammar. I can find no fault in people not using proper grammar. My goodness, this is not the end of the world! If people feel they MUST edit what we are writing, by all means, edit it.......in your mind!  But I, for one, do not feel anyone has the right to knock us down a peg lower then we already are. This is by NO MEANS what we are here for!!!

But hey! Thanks for building up my frustrations.... I'm going to go work it off in my exercises.

..... End of sermon....

Friday Feb. 2

Good Morning Minnie Me's!

Okay breakfast is on! I'm so glad you have all come to share breakfast with me. Here's a nice hot bowl of oatmeal for you all. I added a few strawberries too. Gotta start the day out right you know!

Let's share how our day went yesterday.

Yesterday was a bad day for me. I didn't do anything to speak of at all. I guess the weather has got the best of me. Today, I promised myself that I will do better, and so far I have. I have changed the bedding and vacuumed the house. I know that doesn't sound like much, but hey, it's better then I did yesterday! 'One day at a time', yes each day I will build myself up to the point where I can get back to my exercising routine, but not today. I still have too many torn body parts from the last time I tried to do too much too fast. I will heal, and I will have learnt a lesson from this all. Easy does it!

Oh, I have a case of 50 pounds of hamburgers here, all cooked up and ready to go. Should we drop them off at team 1's doorstep?

.....And before you leave, here's some more strawberries for snacking on later. (I hit a good sale, so enjoy!)

Oh yes! I'd like some meal ideas too. I'm always lost at what to make. Being home alone all the time is the hardest thing for me. I just want something fast and easy.

Hmmm, but we don't want the other teams to steal our menu plans! LOL

I'm glad you liked the mascot. :D

It looks like The Minnie Me's is officially our team name.

Now about myself -----
Would you believe that when I was born I was under 1 pound? Ohhh yes I was! When I started to walk I wore size 0 baby shoes. Yeppers, I was small. All of my life doctors were trying to get me to put on weight. If they could only see me now!
When I got married to my first husband I was 97 lbs. Sometimes I think, "Oh, those were the days," but I know that was too small. But beleive you me, I sure do feel the extra 100 pounds today! I gained some of this baggage while going through a very bad marriage, and the rest I gained after meeting my second husband. You see, he is a truck driver, and I use to travel with him all the time. Now going into a truck stop and eating greasy truck stop food was no help, but then going straight back to the truck and sitting the rest of the day was no form of exercise. The only exercise I got was when I reached my arm out for a bag of chips or a bottle of pop. You know... those BIG bags of chips and the mega bottles of pop? That's what I lived on for many years. My body blossomed into the beautiful beast it is now... then I decided to stay home and lose some of this lard.
After years of eating garbage and doing nothing but sitting, I am finding it hard to get myself up and moving again. I long to get back to being the person that can move around with out an effort. I can do this... oh yes I can.... and so can YOU!!!!

I hear you my friend! I do the same thing. It's always tomorrow for me, and I always wake up with the best intentions. I don't know why I can't bring myself to listen to what I tell myself I must do. As the day progresses I find myself doing less instead of more, then by the end of the day I am totally discussed with myself. Then I promise myself that tomorrow I will do all the things that I said I would do today.

But I will do it, I really will....... tomorrow.

Me also! I'm always looking back at what I use to be. How depressing. I know I'll never be there again, but I'm 100 pounds over what I was in my 20's. Some of this weight just has to go!
