hiya, I am totally in the same frame of mind. I need to be held accountable for the food i am putting in my mouth. I seem to be doing ok during the day whilst at work but then i get home and just can't stop snacking :( i then don't keep track so i know i'm probably eating 1000-2000 calories too much. I'm stuck in a rut and can't get out of it. I'm also gong to rome in 3 weeks and it would be nice to feel that i'm going the right way instead of gaining all the time :( If you want i'd be happy to help you, if you'll distract me from the food!!!!! x Kez |

both spoiled candy andanniebaker have given you all the best suggestions. I also suffer from being unable to switch off from time to time. At the beggining of the year i started Yoga and a relaxation technique they taught us helps me everytime now. Lay on your back with you arms slightly away from your body and your feet hip distance apart. Then Start by concentrating on breathing in through your nose slowly and calmly. After you fell like you have a certain rythem going concentrate on your feet and repeat in your head. 'feet relax, feet are relaxed.' as you say this you should feel your feet almost sink into the mattress a bit more(not actually necessary but you just sort of feel them become more of a dead weight) then you move up to your legs and you say in your head 'calves, knees and thighs relax, calves, knees and thighs are relaxed.' Next is 'hips, stomach and ribs relax, hips, stomach and ribs are relaxed.' then you move to the shoulder, arms, hands and fingers. Finally you say 'head relax, head is relaxed' then you should be in a state of meditation. concentrate only on your breathing. In slowly out slowly. next thing you'll know its morning and you've slept for hours :) Hope things work out :) xx Kez |

Hi Brooke, Chris, pianodwarf, cristin,1aprilfool, medayana. Seems to me we could be quiet a good little support network! Working in an office is such a pain, i snack so much when i'm bored or overly busy, because it helps me focus, so i'm having to find new ways to focus. Coming on her during my breaks helps actually. As for lunch, well i'm really lucky because we have a kitchen we can use. Just a fridge, toaster and microwave, but today i had spaghetti and a pitta for lunch so its definitely useful. I think the trick will be for me to get up and take stuff to work! Otherwise i end up at subways or the burger shop. What do we think then? My weigh in day will be on monday. Shall we meet and share on here? hopefully spurring each other on? add me as a friend if you want :) xx |

hi everyone, just joined today and according to this site i need to lose 65 pounds, but to be honest i think that might be a bit unrealistic, i have always had rather large boobs (currently a 36G) and the last time i weighed 145 pounds i was about 13/14(had the boobs back then too!!). I'm 26, 5' 7" and would really like to just get down to about 12stone to be honest.
Good luck everyone xxKez |

So you can log your weight -- which allows you to do the following:
- Plot your weight curve
- Analyze the trend of your weight (see under Recent in the figure above)
- Determine the projected target date (see under Overall in the figure above)
