I'm with you!! I need a hand with this as I am terrible... I'm a student so EVERYTHING in my life is junk!! I think the only way to stop the junk is by going cold turkey... I need to see results fast and I know that will happen by cutting it out. I was on this forum throughout the summer and lost a stone... christmas and contentment came and now I'm back at 172... gahhh!

I was exactly like you Starry, too many stupid diets that led to failier... guess what...this time I have stayed on track! I have finally gone a month of dieting... yes with the odd take away or the naughty food that we all know we shouldn't have and guess what... I've nearly lost a stone (14lbs - lost 12lbs!!!) All I have done is used this website and tracked my body shape with measurements... (I have lost 12.5 inches of my body too! This site actually makes you feel great and guilty at the same time, you can make some great friends too! Another thing I have done is bought a note book and put in a really horrid photo of me looking really gross (last month in Scarborough eating chips...) I was a stone heavier back then... I also take photos of me in a bikini in my bedroom to show what my body looks like... I call this the fat project...

 

Just keep motivated and you will be thin and healthy in no time...

I mean the day our bones start showing through our clothes is the day they need to worry!! Another thing I hate when I'm on a diet is my fiance telling me what I can and can't eat... he always eats rubbish infront of me too like chocolate and ice cream... grrrr!!!

I totally know what you're saying!! It's like thanks but that really doesn't help... no one says 'well, you have piled on the pounds this summer' or whatever... soo annoying a total deflation too!

Super well done trashley!! That's awesome!! I bet you feel great! I managed to shift two lbs this weekend so that's pretty cool... thanks to McDonalds!! I guess sometimes your body needs rubbish to get it going again!! I'm now 164 :D

I have really calorie counted over the last two days to get rid of this halt on my weight loss... in two days I have lost 2lbs!! I just stuck to my 1500 calorie limit (what lost me my first lb was having 1000 calories to spare and going to mcdonalds with my fiance... had a medium meal and diet coke... and bam! goodbye pound!) I really think watching the calories is the easiest way (and kinda fun too) to lose weight!

 

*Ps: I do not condone eating McDonalds at any time* lol

When will I lose again?! :'( I can go for ages usually and lose loads in a really short amount of time... grrr

Karozel is right though buubuu you do need a crazy amount of calories to keep you alive! I mean sleeping and breathing burn calories :D

I am 5'7'' also I have lost 8lbs in about a week and a bit (hit a plateau though :'() via calories and a bit of exercise.

Looks like a lot but it's not... honest!!

My brother joined a dating agency late last year and has had non stop girlfriends for about 2 months each, he's hardly been single to be honest and my best friend met her now fiance on Myspace last year by accident and well... I'm chief bridesmaid at their wedding! It definitely works

I'm new to this game but it looks AWESOME!! I am in a plateau also at the mo and need to work really hard to get out of it!! I am desperate to shift the pounds as uni starts in exactly one month today!!

How tall are you? I'm 5'7''. Thats a precise calorie intake! Do you plan what you are going to eat before you get up or something :) I eventually want to be 140lb thats the plan anyway!
