Wow! I never knew that anyone else suffered from this too! I've been to the doctor about it and he said there's nothing to worry about- there's nothing medically wrong with it.

I know it irritates me though! Buying pants can be tough some times, but I've gotten used to it. It's so neat knowing that it's not just me with the weird hips! It makes us special though, lol. :]

I used to have a Razr and I really liked it! The only problem: it has horrible battery life. I had one of the first ones, so I'm not sure how they've changed, but the camera was pretty decent and texting is simple. Never had any problems receiving text messages. Its cute too! :D

Not sure about Nokias, but if you have the cash, LG phones are really nice too. I have one now- best battery life, great for texting, and a nice camera!

Good luck finding a phone!

Thanks so much for the advice! I called them up and asked about their veggies selection, which checked out. The steamed veggies and rice were delicious. (:

I would cook my own Chinese food, but I don't have access to a kitchen with more than a microwave and a fridge right now. (I live at school.) When I'm at home, I never order out- I always stirfry veggies myself.

Wow! That's the same exact sandwich I eat for lunch almost everyday!

Well, except that I always eat turkey, because my school doesn't have prosciutto. Or I just don't eat any turkey. (It can get really boring.)

Another sandwich you might want to try is almost like a salad: lettuce, walnuts and apple slices on marbled rye.

I like to have a glass of skim milk and a pear/apple on the side. And apples are especially good right now, with the fall and all. :D

The Lounge Are you watching the RNC? Sep 04 2008

Original Post by splitrail:

"But here's a little news flash for all those reporters and commentators: I'm not going to Washington to seek their good opinion. I'm going to Washington to serve the people of this country."

I thought that was pretty to the point. She's serious about making a difference and helping the country, which is what every election is about.

But, on topic, I'm watching the RNC, just like I watched the DMC. It's better to be well informed about both sides, than just ignoring one party and not even considering what they have to say. People that can vote owe it to all those that can't to make a decision based on facts- not the candidates' personal lives or the media's spin on their beliefs or issues.

Both parties have something to offer and everyone should give each the benefit of the doubt. You can't seriously think you'll make a knowledgable decision if you don't know both sides.

I live in Georgia (we just get the thunderstorms and rainfall) but my dad was down in Louisiana  for business a few days ago and he said it was just awful. People were boarding their homes up and Wal-mart parking lots were completely full, with people streaming out and carrying as many as two or three carts full of supplies. Congrats for being prepared!

Hope you guys keep safe and this Gustav just fizzles out! <3
