Library : What is the difference between Experts and Members? (FAQs)

Experts are either healthcare professionals or people with considerable experience in their respective fields. Health-sensitive information is reviewed by About.com's Medical Review Board, which is comprised of physicians from prominent medical institutions and About.com's medical director, Kate Grossman, M.D., who oversees the board.

Members, in contrast, are volunteers and not subject to the same strict guidelines as the group above. As a result, their content tends to be more colorful and it is often based on personal experiences.
