Wlhoo-hoo! I finally met my goal to deadlift 100lbs! I'm pretty new to lifting and for the past six months I've been eyeballin' those 25 pound plates wondering when I'd get to load them onto the bar. TODAY!! I did two sets of widegrip deadlifts 95lbs and then added on the last 5 for the final set. My next goal is to deadlift my body weight - about 125.

What goals have others set or met? Let's celebrate!

Not exactly a final goal, but finally getting my three main lifts all at or over 225 lbs.  Box Squats were there a while ago, but my back has always been a weakness so I've been deadlifting.  Sunday (1/4) I finally lifted 225 lbs for 3 reps in 4 of my 7 sets of deadlifts.  Now I can squat, bench and deadlift 225 lbs for at least 3 reps.

That makes me happy.   Laughing

I benched 305 pounds five times and was finally able to deadlift 415 three times.  I want to up them by at least 20-30 pounds by summer.  that's awesome you met your deadlifting goals, that's the greatest feeling is when you're able to slap on those extra plates.  good luck with your next goals.

Holy smokes! You two amaze me! It's really inspiring to read what you've accomplished because it makes the possibility feel for attainable - I'm so glad you shared.
