I like Eva Mendes. She's not as skinny as some of those other hollywood types, but she's in good shape with a great figure, and I've read articles where she talks about her eating and fitness habits, and we seem to have a lot in common on that front. I found a picture of her for my desktop wallpaper, and I edited it so it would have my favorite motivational phrase on it: "Nothing tastes as good as looking great feels!!" I look at it everyday and try to use it to keep on track with my weight loss.
MY CELEBRITY MOTIVATOR WAS, IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE CARMEN ELECTRA
got to be jennifer aniston! she's amazing!
JESSICA SIMPSON
Jessica Alba, Rhianna, and the Pussycat Dolls Video Buttons.
Funny how I never thought about before because I don't typically look at celebs and think their look is in the realm of viable for me personally, but....... Tomb Raider phase, totally buff Angelina Jolie (absolutely NOT her gross skinny of some times, but seriously, she is BUFF). I want to be strong, fit and healthy---plus I just think she's gorgeous....face, eyes, lips, arms, dang!
Mine is Mandy Moore. We are the same height (5'10") and I just love her style.

According to similar body types as me, I'd have to say Jennifer Lopez; Jessica Biel; Jessica Simpson

Oh! And totally agree on Jennifer Aniston!
Definitely Natalie Portman!
wetmosaic: Good idea with the wallpaper and quote, "Nothing tastes as good as looking great feels!!" I love it!
I want to do that too! I never thought about having a celebrity motivator because I thought I'd just feel bad about myself with the comparison, but I think if I pick someone who's a similar size as me it might really help! I'm 20, 5'4, 138lb,...anyone have ideas?

definately Jennifer Lopez or Beyonce. thin and fit but I doubt my behind and my thighs are going anywhere so as long as they are toned, I'm down for that figure!
I don't have the money for a private chef, nor do I have two hours a day to work out, and no one is going to pay me millions of dollars to be in fantastic shape. So I don't want to compare myself to celebrities, because that will just make me be too hard on myself.
My motivator is myself, at a younger age, when I was more active and in good shape. I know I'll never be quite that perky again, but I think I should be able to get into decent physical shape.
There are women I find beautiful, of course, but I'd rather just admire their high-maintenance, lovely physiques as opposed to trying to look like them.

well its more a a charachter than a celeb as a person...
but rocky. i am more motivated by a spirit..coming from nothing to be everything he wanted and keep on going no matter what.

kattastic - AAAAAHH. I ADORE Scarlett!! She's just basically the best bod around! I doubt I'll ever be as hourglass as her, as I am more straight up-and-down (though I do have a chest!) - my aim is for roundness in the butt and trimmin' this stubborn waist down a bit. :-)
bethw1984 - I also dig Mandy Moore, but she's just so much taller than me! (I am 5'6"). However, your assessment of her is spot on - I ran the Revlon Run/Walk here in NYC in May, and Mandy performed beforehand - she's super positive, adorable, and has a very toned, healthy looking figure.

I'm going to be in the Miss Arizona pageant, so my real motivators are the competition! When I go on to the websites and look at who's won and check out the swisuit pics especially, I juat want to sit ad eat nothing but celery for the next week! Hahaha! But seriously, I do like keeping a picture of past Misses with me while I work out. Instead of 20ish minutes, I'll go 35-45 minutes!
I've always loved Jessica Alba. And Jessica Biel too. That girl is
ripped! I admire Hilary Duff, too. I'm around the same height and can
relate to her more than other celebs out there. I was looking
through an article in US weekly and her journey from "thick and thin."
I admire how she's finally not soo sooo skinny like she used to be. She
found what she's comfortable with, and in her bikini pics hey I see
some ab muscles goin on there! lol and I admire that a lot so I don't
think she's too skinny right now. Although she definitely was.
I don't think there is any need to attack trustwomen. She wasn't attacking anyone for having a celebrity motivator, just simply stating it wasn't her form of motivation and I for one agree with her. I mean, I think Beyonce has a nice body, but I'm not gonna tape a picture of her to the elliptical while I work out. Just not my thing. What motivates me is the dream of shimmying into a hot size 6 dress or a cute little bikini. That's all I need.
Hillary Duff is definitly mine!! We have very similar shapes (more weight in the arms and stomach) and she is looking so hot in those bikinis on the magazine covers that she's definitly a motivation!
