Hey, anybody out there ever get rid of their cellulite? And if so, how did you do it? And better yet how long did it take?
Reason: Moved to the Weight Loss forum
90%+ of women have cellulite... all ages, all sizes. I find mine looks better if I'm a healthy weight, drink plenty of fluids & follow a 'clean' diet of fresh wholefoods rather than processed/food-like junk. But I don't think it goes away ever so I'm not going to lose sleep over it... Good luck
As gi-janesaid cellulite never goes away but certain habits diminish it's look. I noticed the appearance of it has been greatly reduced since I started swimming and walking about 3 - 4 months ago. Losing weight also has helped me as there is less weight pushing down on the skin to make cellulite noticeable.
Many will suggest that you start lifting weights which is why I started doing the New Rules of Lifting for Women program a few weeks ago. It's too early for me to asses results but I have read very positive feedback from other CC'ers who are doing the same...
The best you can do is eat well, drink plenty of water, and exercise... Best of luck!
Thanks ladies, I lift four times a week. Started about one month ago now. I am watching my diet, eating only A list foods, so I guess I'm doing all that I can. I try not to let it bother me but some days it just really sucks! I have about twenty pounds I would like to shed, so I hope that will help get rid of it or at least look like I did. : D
Is cellulite the same as dimples? Or is it something completely different.
This doesn't get "rid" of cellulite, but diminishes the look for a an hour or a few. I heard that if you rub coffee grounds (ones that have been already used.) and rub them in the area where the cellulite is it will make them look less noticeable. (I heard celebrities do this for photo shoots.)

This really does helps diminish the sight of cellulite! As well as cream and lotion products with caffeine and collagen in them...the caffeine perks the skin and the collagen makes it fuller thus more even and less dimply looking.
If you're going to buy a product make sure there's caffiene in it...
