Thought we could all post something... I used to always shout at my mum 'i AM trying! i'm EATING SOMETHING.' But i now realise that wasn't trying, that was just eating enough to lose weight. So i thought it might be nice for us all to post one or two things we did today to challenge ourselves in our road to recovery.

i shall go first :)

today i challenged my ED by increasing my AM snack by 100 calories, having a raw food bar instead of oat cakes and apple.

I had a whole pint of ben and jerry's ice cream!  Wow, the sick feeling afterwards was totally worth it!  That stuff is delicious!  I haven't done that since I was like 13 years old and I probably won't for a while, but it was good!

Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh.

That's the happy dance/song. :)

I had three big slices of pizza at a pizza party along with a gigantic gourmet cupcake!  Mwahahahahahaha!  I love being able to brag about it on here, too!  This is literally the perfect motivation!

I ate breakfast even though I had a mini binge last night.

For lunch, I got steak & cheese at subway instead of my usual low fat sweet onion chicken teriyaki. Also, I got some Chipotle sauce on it as well instead of only my usual lower cal bbq sauce. It probably topped to like an 800 calorie sub.

And I still ate a snack 3 hours later. And had dinner. And a pre-bedtime snack.

I went to a dinner party where this guy i might have a crush on cooked something called pasta milano, basically spaghetti with a creamy, buttery tomato sauce. I have been panicking about this since yesterday because he set aside some sauce and left the  meat out just for me, but I didn't want to tell him i'm lactose intolerant too. so I took 2 lactaid before, took a small amoutn of sauce and a ton of pasta and had to take some gas meds after :X haha but it was ok! the stomach ache was minimal and didn't interfere with the fun. and before hand I even had garlic bread, glass of wine, and after dinner i had snickerdoodles and belgian milk chocolate! No restricting tonight at all!!

Take that ED/ lactose intolerance!!!

not to mention that now i have enough energy to socialize and i had a ton of fun talking and laughing all night Laughing

Omg everyone that's so awesome I'm really proud of you all!

Okie - yaaaay :)  PIZZA!

jamie-im so glad you got your subway lol

gibbit - that's amazing well done it must feel so good to be able to properly socialize like that and not worry about the food, just ENJOY it! and wow belgian milk chocolate sounds so yummy=]

Today I went to a greasy spoon cafe with my rugby boys and ATE OFF MY HANGOVER! hahahahahahaha take that ed and hangover, I laugh at you scornfully from behind my mountain of scrambled eggs and orange juice.

At a party tonight I drank 2 cans of strongbow (my first experience of proper liquid cals in ages) and get this - at lest 5 chocoltes, some of htem truffles and one ofhtem a cadburys rose xD And I dont even feel tht guilty! I mean, I ATE milk chocolate goddam! As well as tht I had a couple of twigletts crisps. Not too bad :)

xxx

For dinner I ate with my family and I got all my calories today NOT including the dinner!! At dinner I ate TONS of pasta and Garlic Bread & it was so good! AND I didn't even log it and it was probably somewhere around 600 calories! So that means putting that on top of the 1350 calories, I've eaten somewhat like 1950!! I am SO proud of myself :D

*sings* I'm on my way to recovery ~~ XD

Yesterday, I planned my breakfast according to what I was in the mood for and what you're typically supposed to get at breakfast (protein, fiber, fruit...)

And I didn't even count the cals.  :D  I imagine it ended up around 400 or so, but I don't care.

And I bought an extra apple after I had already eaten my lunch, and boy was it yummy.

AND I ate a small piece of dark chocolate mid morning.  I think it was only 33 cals, but the point is that I ate and it and enjoyed it.

I think I need more mental recovery than I do physical right now.

Tonight I am going to eat pizza and drink beer like a normal student and I am not going to attempt to wipe the oil off first, or freak out about cheese, or pick off the meat toppings, or only eat part of it, I will eat AT LEAST ONE WHOLE SLICE!  Yes I will!   (I'm getting a little beer belly, I think it's kind of cute!)

then I will detox for a while.

yes.  yes I will.

oh, from the beer, not the pizza......

I'm only on day 3 of my journey to recovery/weight gain, so my little achievements are nothing compared to what I'm reading about you guys managing! But today:

1) I ate bread (carbs!!!) and eggs for the first time since February. Mum made me scrambled egg on toast :)

2) I drank some of my calories which I never EVER do by having a glass of milk with my breakfast.

3) I am GOING to eat a roast dinner with my family, which means eating red meat and parsnips that have been roasted in oil (tummy might not like that one, tummy doesn't like oil, but tough!)

Baby steps...

haha but you ARE DOING it (: ! and that's great!!and hey.. 3rd day!. that make me feel proud haha it took me lke 2 months to really start  eating well :$ ( shame on me ..haha)

So go raspberrydreams!.. haha teheeeeeee

Yesterday i went out with my family (: because from  oct. 23 to oct 31stits what we call ''la semana de lima'' or something like lima's week and people go out, eat yummy food or our typical sweets (:and i eat sweets ahmm *D* and didn't care about the cals ! wuhu..

Today, I didn't count breakfast cals again.  :D

I liked the muffin batter/dough spoon with my 12-year-old brother.

Actually ate a muffin as a mid-morning snack (they were healthy ones  ;D)

Made Cannellini and Kidney Bean soup for my family - and ate it with them without counting the cals!  (I love to cook and do it every night, but I normally make something very low-cal for myself.  Ehh...)

Had a sip of my brother's hot chocolate, which didn't give me many calories but DID get me to overcome my ridiculous fear of any caloric liquid except soup.

I'm, again, cooking for the Fam tonight.  I'll eat pasta and fish WITH them, instead of off in a corner by myself with a bowl of 35 calorie soup and a slice of light bread.

Mmm, this is nice.

Feeling nourished at the end of the day is NICE.

I ate a frozen banana dipped in chocolate on a stick, like the ones you get at fairs.. I haven't eaten those since i was a little kid, and MAN I love them. I have to make my own though with dairy-free chocolate, since I'm allergic to dairy. (not lactose intolerance, allergic.. much more serious :() I didn't feel guilty at all, I didn't even count cals, (I know at least like 300 though! :D~) and I LOVED every bite~!! And I ate it literally RIGHT before I laid down to go to bed too!! Was I uncomfortable... yes... was I satisfied, damn yes!!

It's like 9:48 at night and i just ate a protein bar in the university coffeeshop instead of following my instinct of going home and sleeping/ trying again tomorrow. It was only like 230 calories which puts me around 1500... but im also going to the neighborhood cafe later an i totally plan on getting pancakes. Not because their nutritious but because i enjoy them.

*yelled a big F U to Anna (my Ed's name) today. Would like to do it again tomorrow... send the good vibes."

i ate a subway cookie D:
and it was oatmeal and raisin

and it was YUMMY :)

I went trick or treating!

Hah HAH!

Victory is mine!

BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHHH!!!

Oh yeah, oh yeah!  I went trick-or-treating and ate like 20 fun size chocolates!  That's like 1500 calories!  I'm so kicking butt at this. :) I felt like I was going to barf, but I knew that's what ED wanted so I just kept packing them in, and I am so glad I did!  Not the healthiest way to go about weight-gaining, but man did it help me mentally!

I also went trick-or-treating, and it was great!! I had so much fun and must have eaten more than 50 pieces of candy and I ate seven of those giant sugar coated popcorn balls. And I didn't count calories :O~! The term 'calories' or 'too much' didn't even pop into my head a single time last night! I had a blast, traded some candy with my friends, and and went home to eat my double chocolate cupcakes I made! I didn't care, I lived freely, and I bet I indulged in over 2000 calories just in that time, and I don't feel guilty one bit~!!

*sings* Go me, go me~!

Oo oo halloween seems to have gotten everyone's spirits up! (hehe that was an unintentional pun)

I went to a party and dressed up as a belly dancer and actually felt hot and it was great and people told me i was hot and that was even better. AND I had snacks at the party, and candy corn, and drinks, several, and not just wine. Ive been so afraid of alcohol, have managed to drink wine and feel ok with it up until now, but had 2 screwdrivers and a bloody mary last night and danced the night away! Then came home and had 3 slices pumpkin cake with pb spread on it, pecans and more pb!

and today i went to this really good restaurant and ordered this sandwich on a burger bun that i had gotten last spring once. And last spring I had only allowed myself to finish half of it and a side salad, even though i remember not being full off of that either, it just seemed like too much because this place has large portions. But today, I was hungry and i ate it ALL. And was still a bit hungry after haha.

wooohoo!!! hope everyone is kicking Ed's (or Anna's) butt today!!
