I'm posting this here and not in the challenges forum because it isn't a challenge. I've hit a bit of a slump lately, and I need something new to motivate me. I find that sometimes when I participate in a challenge, it isn't the seeing how much weight loss I can get before a deadline that motivates me, it's the weight I see myself lose from week to week. So, I propose a chart that just shows your weight. That's it. No goals, no competition, just motivation. So here I start. Anyone can feel free to join me, I plan on editing my original post every week to add my new weight. If anyone wants to join, I suggest choosing any day that best works for you.
UPDATE: Hey all! I know i have been kind of slacking on my diet and I haven't been around much, but I'm back with a vengeance, and I hope everyone else is, too.
I really don't care if you edit your posts or not anymore, you can create a new post if you want to record your weight loss. I'm done being strict about it because I haven't been around lol. SO~ let's just see how we're doing.

Good luck Ladies!!!!
I didn't lose at all this week! I weighed myself several times in the last day and it's averaged 126-128 or so (dial scale). I KNOW I've kept inside my calorie range and I KNOW I've had more exercise than usual. In fact, I've been doing alot of heavy yard work and I'm SORE! Maybe I'm retaining water as my muscles repair? I think that's really possible....
UGH, it's just frustrating to think I could be this close to my goal weight and everything can just fall apart!
Aw, it sounds like everyone is having kind of a downer week! I'm kinda the same. My weight loss has been sloooooow. I just got over TTOM. Hopefully the weight loss will be better now. 176.0 today. Same as 5 days ago.

I ate at maintenance for 2 days and I'm eating low today. I'm starting a new exercise regimen so I'm hoping all of these things will give me a nudge. We'll see...

Up to 184 today. Sort of upset, but between it being TTOM and extremely stressful at home, I'm not surprised. I haven't been eating over my calorie limit, but I've definitely been turning to salty comfort foods this week. My guess is that, once I stop being bloated and stop taking in so much sodium, I'll drop a few pounds of water weight and be right back on my way. On the plus side, I've lost 1.5" overall since last week, so I know I'm doing something right. :)
This hasn't been the best week for all of us, but I'm sure it will pick up from here!
You guys inspire me so much. You are all trying so hard, and on those days when I feel like I just wanna give up I can come here and get all the support I need to hop on the wagon again just by reading your posts.
The last 2 days have been horrible to me - what with 4th of July barbecues and my husband taking me out for dinner tonight. I must have eaten 3500 calories yesterday, I swear. I was going to jump back on the wagon today but ended up having chocolate for breakfast instead. =(
But I'm going to take the pounds that these last 2 days will give me, and keep my pride. Because I'm getting back on that damn treadmill tomorrow. It will NOT defeat me.

Hope everyone has a good week!
I'm stagnating AGAIN. I have to admit, I ate at maintenance a couple times in the last week, hoping that this will boost my metabolism. I zig-zag anyway, but I'm going to do a couple of sharp spikes to see what happens this week.
The good news is that I got the Denise Austin Belly-Fat Blasters dvd from the library last week. REALLY good abs workouts on it. The first one is my fave. Anyhoo-I'm seriously seeing a difference!
Monday again! Time to jump on the scales for me..... Didnt lose a thing this week. Thought I did ok on my counts but guess it didnt want to cooperate this week. Well back in full force for next week!

I am at 174.4 right now!
Lowest weight ever. The 160s are in sight! I'm not expecting this weight to stick around though, because I was at 178.8 like a day or two ago. Needless to say, I think I am doing ok. Need to exercise some more. My son is going to go down for a nap soon, so I will probably go to the gym then.

Whoops~ Didn't weigh myself yesterday. I've just been so busy it's been nuts! But I weighed this morning at 174.2 and I'm happy! I really thought I was going to gain..... I've been bad on my diet lately. But it gives me motivation to stick with it! I'm gonna go workout on WiiFit for a bit since my household isn't even awake yet.....heh. I'm an early bird.
tomatotomata - You're a genius~ I never would have thought to go to the library for workout dvds. I'm going to have to try that. Maybe it will give me some added motivation as well. Anyways, good luck everyone!

I'm steady at 125. I'm within 10 lbs of my goal now (I started at 158 in January). It's so hard to lose any weight at all lately. Frustrating... I'm tempted to try some fad-idiot-short-term diet to shave off the last 10 but the idea of cutting my cals so low just seems tiresome so I never entertain the thought for very long. But, gosh, I wish this would go a little faster....
