Challenge for the shorties (5'-5'3")
I'm starting this challenge because I need help and motivation to lose this excess weight..anyone else with me? I'm not really sure how these challenges work but I would love love love any support to get this weight off and I'm sure i'll figure it out.
Challenge starts today and will go...till we lose this weight! Weigh-ins will be every Sunday. Please edit current posts in bold so I won't miss them.

You know I think weight loss is just horrible for us little folks. I am 4'8" tall and according to the calorie meter since I have a desk job and only fit in about 1 hour of activity a day, I burn about 1500 calories (129 is my weight) if I reduce that by 500 (to loose 1lb/week) then I come in at 1000. So it suggests me strive to loose 0.5-0.7 lbs/week keeping 1200 calories per day. OUCH can anyone say PAINFULLY SLOW!
What is a little person like me to do? My BMI is almost 29.6 (30 is obese) I really need to get the weight off. How many calories should I eat? This STINKS! I get real unmotivated real quick! Not to mention if I go over 1200 any at ALL my whole week's worth of loss disappears. No wonder I feel like I am spinning my wheels!!!!

(I like me at 120 but never get below that because I look too thin in the face) This time I plan to tone and build muscle so I set my goal higher. I am already pretty muscular in the legs just need to loose the fat that is covering it. I might lower my goal when I get to that point.
I'm a few days late but I definitely want in on this one!

Question: What do you think you did well this week to achieve your goal???
My answer: nothing...i didn't go to the gym at all and didn't eat so great either....words of motivation?
Motivation: Cut your loses and pick up where you left off. Everyone has an off week. Just continue your diet as if the week never happened. Stay away from the scale until you get where you think you should be. The last thing you need to know is if you gained more weight (which I doubt) because it may make you feel down about the week you just had.
Think of it as having a weeks vacation from the pressures of dieting.
This week I think I did well at driving past the McDonald's and not going in for a bite. I did well at walking past the vending machines even though they were calling my name. I did well at increasing my intake with more fruits and fibers instead of left over Easter candy.

TTOM weight gain? I weighed 164.2 on weigh-in; 163.2 March 31 but today, day 2 of TTOM I weigh 166.2
I am bummed but I think that it is normal. Any feedback?

LOST 2 pounds! Yay!!
Okay so on Sunday I was at 158, and I didn't get too excited(down from 163.5) because I was up sick the night before. Well I weighed myself today and I am still at 158, so yay! I have lost 7 lbs since march 23, and have 35 to go. I am excited now...btw, The Biggest Loser workouts really kick your butt, I love them!!!

I am still at 133lb...atleast it wasnt a gain. anyone currently weighing close to what I am and trying to get to 125-128 range...lets share ideas on what we are currently doing and how we can adjust to hit our GOALS!

I am at 156 today, I am attributing that to the Biggest Loser dvd I have been doing during my son's naps. That's 9 pounds I've lost so far and I am feeling super great about it!

I lost 2 pounds! :) So now I'm down to 105. I think I'll stop losing at about 103-102ish and then tone up/build muscle mass from there.
EDITED: I AM DOWN TO 132LBS...ILL STILL POST TOMORROW TOO THOUGH I AM SURE IT WILL BE THE SAME AS TODAY.
edit for 4/6: 132lbs. figured that I would...it was just yesterday LOL. but I am down a lb. it gets harder and harder every week cuz I am so close to my goal so I think that I lose a bit of motivation to eat well. I am just trying not to sabatoge all the progress I have made, rather make it a lifetime habit with one day not having to count calories and log everything anymore. I totally slacked on exercise...havent done a thing since thursday and it makes me feel guilty!
