hey guys- im new here ..finally signing up after using the calorie count to look at whats in alot of foods i eat lol
im just under 5'10 and i weigh aroud 148 pouds.im trying to loose another 10 then i will be truley happy.(i carry literally all my weight around my thighs/calvs but none around my top) and i just cant get rid of it- ive tried raw diets, fat counting and i love carbs. so im tryig calorie couting.
by march i want those 10-14 pounds gone! lol but i just cant seem to loose wieght, one week i loose a pound the next i put on half a pound. i go to the gym alot and always watch what i eat (as a habit i always eat less than 60 grams of fat a day from my previous diet) but at the end of each week i feel so tired and worn out beucase of no weightloss
do any of you lovely ladies (or gentlemen :p) have any simular problems?

I've been winging it as a total loner and that's not working for me, maybe this challenge will get me off my butt...one can only hope

I'd like to join the challenge. I'm new to CC as well. It is interesting to note that since I've been focused on counting calories, I really do hesitate before eating anything, like I am starting to calculate the calories before I shovel away :)
Heres my stats: 44, 5'7", weight this AM: 151.2. My goal is weight loss ( 10-15#), but also healthier eating habits for me as well as my family.

I'm in also-if it's not too late. I'm 38 5'6" and at 175. I got down to 169 before Thanksgiving but I haven't done a thing since then. I want to get down to about 140 but we'll see if that is too low later. It does help to have some accountability and check in and its great to watch everyone's progress.

This sounds great! I'm just under 5'10" and I weigh 134. My goal is to maintain at 125 and be able to do more than 10 push-ups in a row. Let's go!
I would like to join too...Can I please........I have been visiting and trying to find something just like this so that the whole group gets to start at one time..... I too started my weight loss journey today.. I was at 147 2 weeks ago and today I weighed 150.I hope I can lose 15 pounds in next 3 months. I do cardio 3 times a week and weights 2 times a week. Hi all! This is my first day on Calorie Counter and I was looking for a challenge! I weighed in this morning at 162 I am 5'6'' and goal weight is 140 pounds! Any motivation and suggestions welcome!
I sit at a desk all day and have the ongoing urge to snack!! Help!
I'm in, I think Mondays are better days to start than the actual first of the year.
Starting weight: 140 (ouch holidays!)
Goal Weight: 110-115 (depends on pants really)
I say the 15 lb. goal for 3 months ia reasonable.
I already exercise moderately, I'm stepping it up, I eat pretty well (I have Crohn's so my food choices are limited anyway), and and I have quit smoking and lowered my alcohol intake.
All in all, I just wanna look hot naked. I don't think that's too much to ask.
