42 Day Challenge - Starting June 9th!
Hey guys!
As of June 9th, I will have finished my second "30 day club" and I wanted to do one more big challenge/motivational game before I cease organizing and return to joining.
Why 42? Because I like Monday and Thursday weigh ins, and this way, we end on a Monday... And by doing it this way, I will have done this for more than 100 days. Plus, this puts the dreaded July 4th holiday smack dab in the middle, so even if we hit a bump, we've got a couple weeks to buffer it once we're done.
(And on a personal note, I go into production on July 22nd - which means my challenges get different - I have to figure out how to keep on track when I'll be spending ten hours a day in a room with other writers, and surrounded by sunchips and candy bars.)
So!
Starting June 9th, 2008 and going through July 22nd, 2008!
First weigh in: Monday June 9th, second weigh in Thursday June 12th and we just keep going until the 22nd of July! Who's in?

P.S. I will be doing my measuring via the Nintendo Wii Fit so, there will probably be a blunt drop in my weight between the two forums. But as of June 9, that's my scale (unless I'm out of town, then I'll do the best I can.)

Hahaha, I go to NYC for two weeks in July, the 11th thru the 25th, so my weight will probably jump up drastically starting around July 11th!!!!!!!

I'm in even though I'll be on vacation from 7/11 - 7/25. I'll be in Cape Cod from 7/11 - 7/19, which means ice cream each and every day. I've already started to scout out gyms near by to help burn off some of the ice cream. It's our family tradition that we eat an ice cream a day while on a summer vacation. I'll have to find some low fat solutions along the way and eat good meals, which will help with the sweets.

Even though I have seen zero progress in the last forum. In fact, I've seen negative progress. I'm hoping to turn it around this next go. My job's ending in two weeks, which means I'll have ample time to dedicate to the gym (until, well I don't anymore.) anyway- here's hoping!
I'm in, even though I haven't lost any either. And I'm going to vegas in July for my b-day...either I'll gain from eating and drinking, or lose from sweating, lol.

Count me in! I'm going to a music frestival for pretty much those enitre 42 days so hopefully they will have a scale there, maybe i'll buy my own........
Count me in. I would love to have extra motivation with my diet and workouts. This sounds great. I have my fathers 60 birthday to attend to in July and would like to shed some of my baby weight by then.

Welcome to all! Happy Monday. Today is the start of the 42 day journey. I hope that this forum works out as well as my last 2. The last marmel13 forum, I lost a little over 10lbs.
My starting weight is: 193.0.
My goal weight for these 42 days is: 183.0.
This is going to be a really tough 42 days. Right dab in the middle, I'll be on vacation for 10 days, and eating a bunch of ice cream. Mmmmmmm.....

goals.. I want to be a healthy bmi by mid july... translation: 168 or less...calorie target says I can do it by the 18th... I'm guessing sooner with today's water weight tacked in, but we'll see! good luck everyone.
