Hey guys!

As of June 9th, I will have finished my second "30 day club" and I wanted to do one more big challenge/motivational game before I cease organizing and return to joining.  

Why 42?  Because I like Monday and Thursday weigh ins, and this way, we end on a Monday... And by doing it this way, I will have done this for more than 100 days. Plus, this puts the dreaded July 4th holiday smack dab in the middle, so even if we hit a bump, we've got a couple weeks to buffer it once we're done.

(And on a personal note, I go into production on July 22nd - which means my challenges get different - I have to figure out how to keep on track when I'll be spending ten hours a day in a room with other writers, and surrounded by sunchips and candy bars.)

So!

Starting June 9th, 2008 and going through July 22nd, 2008!  

First weigh in:  Monday June 9th, second weigh in Thursday June 12th and we just keep going until the 22nd of July!    Who's in?

P.S.   I will be doing my measuring via the Nintendo Wii Fit so, there will probably be a blunt drop in my weight between the two forums.  But as of June 9, that's my scale (unless I'm out of town, then I'll do the best I can.)

P.S.S.  This time, I'm going to suggest that any of you/us that are on facebook also use facebook.  Constant updates, IMing, and all that jazz.    I'm on there as marmel (AT) marmel (DOT) com if you wanna find me.

    Im still doing well with the diet - lots of fruit to eat here, fish and salads. I think I can keep it around 1700 and not screw myself with the crunchy and the fried...

    Oooh...get some sun for me.  It's been raining ever since school let out, grr!!!

    I'm sure you'll be fine, and also allow yourself to taste the local delicious food.

    Happy Monday!

    I had alot to eat yesterday, on purpose.  Trying to get off my plateau and I haven't had a cheat day since April, so my body needed to get out and eat some bad foods.  It should right itself back to losing in a couple of days after losing some of the sodium I ate yesterday in that movie popcorn.  Kung Fu Panda was very cute and funny!  My kids loved it.

    Anyways, here we go:

    Hi everyone, and happy birthday *Zephyrdame*.

    Now..... Let's go on with the report.
    This weekend was a good one... Father's day for my daddy was great. We had a little cookout, and I didn't eat anything from the cookout. Everything was (Bad), and I knew Monday weigh in was coming up. I got past all the bad food and fixed a chicken salad. I made it. I beat the Wings, Stuffed Mushrooms my aunt makes loaded in 3 types of cheese ,Potato Salad, Crab Salad, Greens with Corn bread "Sweet", and Black eye peas, Green beans, and my mac and cheese. I had my boyfriend taste it for me. To make sure it was right.

    Weights.
    June 9-- 159
    June 12-- 158
    June 16--  157.6 :( I wanted no points behind my weight number, and I got .6..

    Anyway.... I am going to keep on hammering away at this. Thursday I am going to be past this damn (Point), and if I am not. :) Call the police, because I'm going to murder the damn scales. LOL

    2) do my running/gym routine as planned

    Just checking in to say hello.  I have been having a fine time visiting relatives and of course eating out constantly. 

    I have been very good and think I might even lose a little by Thursday.  At least that is what I'm shooting for but we'll see.  I have been watching what I eat but not logging my food and I don't have access to a scale which is the hardest for me.  I figure it's a good test to see what the future will bring. 

    Skinny person here I come!!

     

    Grrr, no change in over a week, must change up the calories....

    I'm 5'3" and would like to lose 14 lbs this challenge.

    My goals include:

    1500 -1700 calories per day - didn't track over the weekend, fell off the wagon, back on today

    exercise at least 5X per week (at least 45 min each session) - yes for Thurs, then stopped, starting again today (did more than 6 hours of gardening this weekend  though)

    Hello all,

    Sorry I didn't weigh-in yesterday, I was out of town with my hubby.

    Very bad week-end. Friday and Saturday I was partying with friends from college. Sunday and Monday husband and I ate fried chicken and visited a winery. Ugh. At least we went swimming both days! Oh well, back on the horse!
