Change of season...
Has anyone else felt totally hit by a ton of bricks by the change of season? For the past week I've felt like a totally different person - lethargic, exhausted, sore, but really, really tired. And hungry! Does this happen to anyone else?
Yes it does but I am feeling better now.
though I hate the colder weather!
Yup!
I hear ya too. I think it's the "hibernation" thing. When the weather gets cooler I feel like eating more, sleeping more and staying home snug as a bug.
It's totally hitting me today. Of course, I think it is in the 60's outside for the first time this fall.
All I want to do is crawl under the covers and sleep, and barring that, eat!
hmmm... wish I was a bear
My husband has seasonal depression that rears it's head in the fall. It sort of rubs off on me :( I absolutely love fall, so I try not to let it get me too down. Plus, my car doesn't have air conditioning, so I am super pumped to sweat more at the gym than i do on my way to it again!
Fall and winter are my two favorites seasons. Anxious for the rainy season to start. LOVE rain. I hate the heat. It was 102.2 degrees in my carport today. Yuck!
Just the opposite! I feel that way about Spring/Summer! :P
I've had a nasty cold since Sunday due to the weather change. It's subsiding though.
I could not be happier. I hate summer. Bring on the snoooow!
Fall is our nicest season here. We're still at the tail end of summer though. I still have heat lethargy!
I don't necessarily feel terrible, but this week I've been tired all day, everday, no matter how early I go to bed the night before. But I'm also under a lot of stress with school lately. Hopefully it'll get easier to juggle everything soon.
But I love fall! These past couple days have been annoyingly hot and sticky, and my new haircut clearly does not appreciate it.
I'm beginning to be weirded out by the fact that there are NO seasons where I live... just tropical equatorial, day in and day out.
I love autumn - in fact, it invigorates me. But I really don't like heat and humidity, so hibernating in the summer would be my choice.

I would absolutely love that. I can't wait to move somewhere away from the drastic change of seasons I have now. I despise cold and snow and ice and sleet and dreary gray skies.
Just a few more years to go and then I will be free from the seasonal drag down.

San Diego was like that ... every day the same as every other day. I found it very strange.

I'm ok for spring but summer makes me depressed. ^^
I looooove fall.
I struggle during winter but spring, fall, and summer are fine. Actually fall is my favorite time of the year. So I'm good pretty much until the end of November where I live.
Change of seasons? I don't know what you are talking about. The past two days were in the mid-upper 80's. In Washington. Wtf? If we could hold off on the rain as long as possible, I'd appreciate it. I don't care about the temperature but PLEASE not rain!!!

Mid-80s? Puh-lease. That IS winter in Phoenix. It's 98 here today (102 tomorrow, yippee).
Sorry, OP - here we've got the opposite problem of lethargy in the summer (which lasts 7 months) and energy the few months it's actually nice out. Benefit: Fabulous Thanksgiving and Christmas weather!
Where can I see 1/8th or 1/6th of a pie or angel food cake?
This is the best way to picture a portion of pie or cake: Draw a circle to represent the circumference of the cake or pie (9" pie? 10" cake?... Read more
