What other changes have you notice with your weight loss?

Example: Skin, hair, mood, etc, etc...

My skin has cleared up and I rarely get blemishes.  The scars on my face don't show at all anymore (don't know why, not complaining, either).  My hair is stronger and less fluffy.  My fingernails don't chip off at the tips and I rarely get those little white calcium spots.  And, my favourite, my vision has improved.  Not much, and probably pure coincidence, but I have some peripheral vision in my left eye now.

CD, those are awesome.  I haven't lost enough to have any major changes (yet) but I have noticed I have better balance, which has always been a problem for me in the past.  I was plagued with twisted ankles!

I'm a lot more pleasant to be around now. Except when I'm hungry and it's dinnertime but somebody is taking too long to get home and making me wait to eat. But I've always been like that, I get pretty crabby when I'm hungry. I think my fingernails are less brittle too, at least they feel healthier, where before they used to chip with slight contact...

Eh, my balance still sucks.  I can walk on 9 inch platformed shoes along the edge of a street curb in the dark with no problem but get me barefoot on a regular ol' floor and I fall into the wall.

I can go for walks now without losing my breath and i can tie my shoe without struggling since i dont have that big gut anymore  i still have it though but it has gone down. I lost about 54 lbs. From a size 26/28 down to a 18/20 and im also kinda tall for a chick i am 5'7

I have dimples when I smile (I never had them before) and my cheeks are now a rosy pink color. Plus I can walk up stairs without getting out of breath. And tie my shoe laces, and... 152 lb has made a big difference.

Nails are growing and not breaking

Hair is stronger and looks healthier

I dont whine anymore about going up and down the steps...

Im a happier mommy.. w/ the boys.. more patience and tolerance lol

and my son loves fiber one cereal (?) keeps on stealing it~

All great things!

I am happier, sleep better, my skin has cleared up a lot and I don't get grumpy as quickly or to the extent that I used to.

I have so much more confidence now, and I have only lost about 7 lbs so far! I already feel so much better about myself!

I can walk knowing I won't pass out from exhaustion!

I can't wait to be able to go to a fast food restraunt and not have them think "go ahead and heat the grease up, this looks like a supersized meal waiting to happen!"

Nominated for most bizarre change with weight loss:  my feet.

I hit 195# this week (down 25#) and had to buy new shoes.  The tennis shoes I've  been wearing for the last year started rubbing blisters on my toes and at the sides of my feet.  I'm in a size eight now, down 1/2 size.  The weirdest thing was when I looked down at my feet on the scale a couple of days ago and didn't recognize them.  My toes look longer and my feet are noticeably thinner and kind of bony looking.  LOL!  It's not something I ever considered from weight loss.  I haven't decided if they look better or not -- I'm still freaking out over them looking different.

Sleep is much better plus no more snoring! Which is probably why I didn't sleep too well... But, I also started sleeping on the floor at the same time... So dunno if its the weight loss or the floor!?

But I can say that I have significantly improved my strength and stamina since working out and losing weight. I can now carry two boxes of 6-gallon water jugs (one box on each shoulder) up four flights of stairs to my apartment without dying! Before I started I could barely carry up one box without having to stop at each floor to rest... :(

To tell you guys the truth, I haven't really lost much weight at all, that wasn't my big goal (though loosing 10 lbs would be nice).  My goal was to change what I ate (no more processed foods and sugars) and how much I exersized.  I have noticed that my bloating is gone, and my mood has improved soooo much!  I feel like myself again and like I can handle my life.  I'm so much happier and seeing these changes is only pushing me forward.  If feels really good to exersize now, not like something I just have to do.

TMI Alert!

No more diarrhea!  I always thought I had IBS but I guess my body just didn't know what to do with all that extra food...

Since I started working out in the mornings, I've noticed that I'm not tired all day :)

OMG yes! Much more regular with all the fiber and what not as well...also TMI.

I've lost 49 pounds, and the biggest changes for me are

Much clearer skin -- that was the quickest change.  It was the better diet, not really weight loss.

Blood pressure went from 145/90 to 112/70. (That happened at about 20 pounds.)

I can bend over and tie my shoes now, or clip my toenails, without taking a big breath and holding it, while maneuvering my belly as much between my knees as possible, to reach my foot.

I stopped snoring, and I breathe and sleep much better now.  I rarely wake up in the middle of the night anymore.

No more indigestion or heartburn!  (My hubby went from chronic heartburn to NONE.)

I'm "regular" now--no borderline constipation, no "running".

If I'm running late and my train is pulling into the station as I am, I can RUN to catch it, instead of not even trying, because it would be to embarrassing to be lumbering along like an elephant, and maybe not make it anyway.

My overall outlook and mood is so much more positive and energetic.

I can shop in regular stores and fit comfortably in any seat or chair.

I've lost roughly 55 lbs, hard to say because I don't know my exact starting weight.

My resting heart rate and blood pressure are both lower.  I have tons of energy to spare, and an increased sex drive (haha maybe tmi).  Anyway, I attribute these not specifically to weight loss but more to my largely increased fitness level.

I hardly ever break a sweat unless I'm exercising, in fact, it takes work to not be cold.

I don't constantly worry about what I look like, from whatever angle, etc.  I know that I'm healthy and fit, so I don't feel like I really have anything to ashamed of.

I can devour my food in front of people, lol.

It's becoming winter soon (I live in the southern hemisphere) and I keep feeling cold even though it's only fall weather. Does anyone else feel really cold? I didn't really feel it when I first lost 10 lbs to get to 120, but since dropping to 112 it's been freezing.

I was surprised by this as well!! After losing 40 lbs, my flats and sandals were really loose - had to go but new ones. I felt the same way - I looked down at my feet one day and didn't recognize them. I rewarded my "new feet" by getting a pedicure!!!

My low blood sugar and high blood pressure went away.  I sleep better.  My face is clear and has a healthy glow.  I find myself laughing more and having more energy.  That's about it for now..but only 12 lbs lost so far.
